Are there a lot of bugs left to patch? I'm mainly looking just to trade, I ran into some problems trying to use the trial (demo), any helps on the matter? I could not select the exchange after it was open.
Sorry, but what do you mean you could not select the exchange after it was open? Jonathan I open the trial on a xubuntu virtual machine; then proceed to thinker with it but it was not possible, in the small square to select exchanges, it was not possible to do so, therefor i couldnt load the trial and use it, maybe i was missing a dependency? |

Hey man just saw your post on 4chan. I've a couple of bad news.
If you found this guy, the bitcoins are gone, you can click on the blockchain and keep looking where those coins went, he did not keep them in the same place and it would be safe to assume that he spent them somewhere, therefor it would not even be possible to retrieve them.

Thanks for the response.. just one more question.. does gunbot do short sell as well ?? I mean, short selling can be translated as selling high and buying low; this strategy overlaps whatever gunbot does; gunbot will take the parameters and check when to buy to sell; to sell he will check what was the last price he used to buy, therefor its not about holding but selling and getting small gains with gunbot, not shorting or longing. |

Imagine this scenario: There are many people trading; some of them are bots, some of them are regular people daytrading and some of them are whales.. w/e you could include a massive amount of characters here for this purpose. The bot has certain strategies where you can modify the parameters, for example using BB strategy (bollinger bands) you can tell the bot to buy when its 0.1% lower than EMA for the bollinger bands percent that you consider and taking in consideration the 15 minute candle (which is usually the default); the bot will calculate and attempt to sell for the % that you set it up to look for after the EMA, for example, you could also use 0.1% for this one. If you are at work, the bot will do this trades without you looking at it, it will also take in consideration a spike, which is usually really hard to find manually, therefor, imagine that a coin goes for 3% increase of the EMA for just a few minutes, the bot took advantage of that. Now this means, this bot is not free money, you have to set up the right parameters to actually obtain these results, if you choose the wrong coin, you might have a bad time, you have to look for certain coins that are kind of stable and fluctuate in the same range, as Gunthar explained on the first post. This is an over simplification of what this bot can do. Nothing is free money, it requires study and your own reasoning in order to win money using this bot. I hope this helps. If you ahve double up, the boti s going to try to average the loses and make more money on another jump, basically imagine it bought at 1 but hte coin started to drop and is now 0.9 (then it buys again) and then 0.7 then it buys again then when its back to 0.9 he tries to sell everything in such a way that you never lost but gain more money; if the currency never comes back up, obviously you have a bag (if you dont have enough money to average up then you have a bag and so on..Check this for more information on strategies, BB explained with images: https://gunthy.org/index.php?topic=169.0 |

i bought gunbot back in march and i have to say i'm satisfied. i have not much btc to play, started with 1.5 and i am now with 4.86
if you have problems i can suggest you to contact gunthar directly? he helped me when you had to install node.js to run gunbot so i dont know why you so angry.
community is cool too, a lot of people in the group with a lot of shared information.
i dont agree with SpiryGolden: gunbot is making me money and i'm happy with it.

I'm still using 3.3.5; 4.0.1 gave me an error yesterday and I did a fallback to the 3.3.4 which is working fine for me using BB
I am running 3.3.2 since the community said that is the super "Stable" version. Sure it is never closed finally never hanged or got retarded except going on negative and eating a lot of RAM. Who knows maybe a better future for it Since the dev cashed in some good money, maybe he will have some interest instead of delivering TOTAL JOKE of software. Today I'm pretty busy but if you want I'll help you set up the 3.3.5 with all the pairs you want using linux and bb strategy for free, remember gunthar can always refund your purchase buddy. |

I've only used gunbot release-candidate version, gunthar and the community on telegram are 24/7 answering questions snip... I'm running 16 pairs lol; Sorry I made a mistake, it has 2 GBs of ram not 4.  You running the pre-release and not on Bittrex Basically the version that is actual garbage for me? And has no use . Its on bittrex. Without insufficient funds error? Or you just updated to the version that was upped 3 minutes ago and just try to brag with it randomly ? Because you know that the pre-release on Bittrex won't allow you to sell right?
