Does your account unlock steam market ?

I don't know what this actually mean, you can use the community market and there are no restrictions on the account.
662  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for a good script-able wallet. on: March 06, 2015, 03:12:16 AM
You would have more luck on the wallets subforums, and with the bitcoinJ libraries if im not mistaken. Go and try multibit then electrum subforums
663  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Beta test a simple automated bitcoin exchange + giving away 2 BTC + No beta fees on: March 06, 2015, 03:10:15 AM
I could test it, pm.
664  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Rbitcoin - R & bitcoin integration (bitstamp, btce, kraken) on: March 06, 2015, 03:07:31 AM
It already fetches data from blockchain.info, if not already in tabular form then in close to tabular (list with tabular, or tabular with list, etc). Should be easy to transform.
The project is not much actively developed anymore, I believe at least to the next bobble Smiley

Thanks for your answer i just saw the date...I'll try to use it tomorrow, installation went smooth, if i can get some data from blockchain.info with it then should be pretty easy easy to convert to my desired format with R.
665  Other / Politics & Society / Re: First human' discovered in Ethiopia on: March 06, 2015, 12:33:41 AM
lol I love the creationist rage over this sort of thing "Pah! Scientific evidence?! How dare they!" Tongue

You do realize evolution doesn't go against the bible right?

By the way I don't see how this changes the whole idea of humans came out of Africa idea since Ethiopia is in Africa.

Yes it does. Bibles says:

Garden of Eden was between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

Man was made completely, full grown, not evolved from some inanimate chemicals that came into life spontaneously.

Bible clearly says that the creation story happened right around 6,000 years ago.

Bible says that man was created much more advanced that we are today.

Bible says there is a God.

Lots of things that don't match between the Bible and evolution.

Smiley

You know that different religions ramifications have different interpretations of the Bible? some Evangelist believe that the bible speaks in a literal way and not metaphorical way so they actually believe that earth is around 6000 years old.
666  Other / Politics & Society / Re: First human' discovered in Ethiopia on: March 05, 2015, 10:30:37 PM
This is really good news. There's still a key piece of the puzzle in the evolution thing from monkey cousin to human that we need to find so we can fill that empty hole there, perhaps we can gather something really useful from this.
667  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Gold: The Age Old Debate on: March 05, 2015, 02:37:34 PM
Gold demand is driven by fear. people aren't scared? gold goes down
Opportunity cost is too high to hold when there are better alternatives

That's a problem on the cryptocurrencies world too, that's why there are some new cryptos like NuBits (https://nubits.com/) that try to stabilize the price (1$ USD = 1 NuBits) but the advantages of cryptocurrencies are far superior...

Imagine that 1 bitcoin = 0.01 USD, it does not matter, you can move money over the internet with low fees ( as lo as 0.0001 BTC at the moment of this post) while you cant move gold so fast nor so far without paying massive fees or waiting days. For more information: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/FAQ#Economy

By the way remember that bitcoin is not only a currency but a protocol, the public ledger (blockchain) and the advantages that come with it (satoshi proof - https://github.com/ligi/SatoshiProof) are too valuable; Don't forget governments could issue their own cryptocurrencies and gain the advantages from bitcoin and only changing the nature of a decentralized system to a centralized one. This also solves the big and long never ending problem of counterfeit money and money laundering.
668  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Have $19.81 USD in PM..Want Bitcoins on: March 05, 2015, 02:28:30 PM
I will be happy to act as an escrow, I charge only 1 %

i dont actually think that you can be an escrow since you dont have any trust here, you'll be better doing some trades and after having some feedback then try to be an escrow. Here's the trusted escrow list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0
669  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Best available miner to buy ? on: March 05, 2015, 02:20:26 PM
if its not spoondolies, i would go with antminer S5 or just wait for the next gen miners, bitmain may be releasing something in the incoming months.
670  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Diginomics Wallet - Looking for Developers [Ethereum] on: March 05, 2015, 01:47:45 PM
Do you see any issues with privacy using this application?

For example:
My friends and family know I am into bitcoin but not how much I own. My friends and family know my email address, but not any of my BTC addresses. What if they were to send a transaction to my known email in an effort to discover how much I own?

Send a very small amount to: mysoontobe@exhusband.com

Would the sender be able to discover the receivers addresses, balances and transactions by sending small transactions to their email?

That problem is quickly solved by just generating new address per each transaction, therefor if anyone wants to see a balance from the address, they'll just get a change address or a clean address that wont reveal any information from the guy receiving the bitcoins.
671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sick Of Gambling? - Make BTC Online - $500 This Month GUARANTEED on: March 05, 2015, 01:41:52 PM
If you dont want to use a real email to register, remember you can use yopmail.com for disposable emails..
This is a pyramid scheme or some ponzi, just dont believe on $500 USD free for doing nothing.
672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: payoneer to btc on: March 05, 2015, 04:39:11 AM
You can exchange Payoneer to Bitcoins at Localbitcoins.

https://localbitcoins.com/ad/73223/purchase-bitcoin-payoneer-united-states

Yes but at price of 326.40 USD / per 1 BTC. And real price is about 260USD at this moment while I'm posting here.

because payoneer is a reversible payment method, its just like paypal and its not safe for the seller or buyer, payoneer has a really harsh policy against cryptocurrencies.
673  Economy / Economics / Re: Ecuador: There's no *new* digital currency on: March 05, 2015, 04:35:44 AM
Specific cryptos for countries is a dumb concept, as demonstrated by AUR and the rest of knockouts. We have Bitcoin, a currency for planet earth. Everything else is deprecated.

Specific cryptos for counties would be a very good idea imho, it would make trading in and out of fiat a hell of a lot quicker and simpler but if cryptos really take off it could be very important. In a worst case scenario it could destabilise nations risking poverty for millions so they should really be a considering implementing them. Governments have the monopoly on taxation and could issue without the cost of middlemen, a transparent system based on previously successful uses of scrip could hugely increase cost effectiveness, efficiency and trust.

Thanks for clearing that up EcuaMobi, sounds like they're doing it all wrong but news was kind of vague.
I still dont see the point, just use Bitcoin and stop mentally masturbating with useless alts IMO.

not every altcoin is useless .. darkcoin is implementing really good protocols and ideas that could be implemented in the future onto the bitcoin chain, storj with a decentralized cloud storage that uses bitcoin mechanism is so revolutionary that im following the project.. it just takes a good eye to see them.
674  Other / Off-topic / Re: What ll we do if internet cut off (forever) :) on: March 05, 2015, 02:00:15 AM
Cryptocurrency cant work without internet because you wont have any way to verify the blockchain or anything bitcoin-related..
675  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is OS really important on: March 05, 2015, 01:50:58 AM
You can use linux if you are new, feel free to download

Tail Os 1.3 that includes electrum and it can be ran from usb and will have persistent memory.

https://tails.boum.org/download/

If you want to learn, you can get elementary Os and read some guides, you'll be enjoying a lot more after you have some knowledge on linux and can tweak it by your self.
676  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: how would I remove old coin drivers? on: March 05, 2015, 01:45:31 AM
is it linux or windows?

on windows you'll find the drivers on the panel control, add/remove programs, search for the name of the driver and you'll be able to remove it. I doubt you'll have linux but if you compiled it and installed without the package manager you'll need to remove it manually.

677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Free BTC Methods on: March 05, 2015, 01:30:10 AM
The bit-x campaign automated bot payment is the best shot that you have to get some free btc.. you'll need a full memeber account and then proceed to post as usual.

678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoind 0.10 freeze ubuntu 14.10 on: March 05, 2015, 01:20:07 AM
#1 open a terminal[1]
#2 switch to the (hidden) bitcoin folder
Code:
cd ~/.bitcoin
#3 open log file
Code:
leafpad debug.log

Depending on your version of ubuntu the text editor (gedit) is named differently. for lubuntu its leafpad

[1] http://www.wikihow.com/Open-a-Terminal-Window-in-Ubuntu

my bad on supposing things, thanks shorena
also, if bitcoind is running, open up terminal and type

Code:
bitcoin-cli getinfo

this will give you information about the current status of the bitcoind.
How are you starting the bitcoind?

give me the result of

Code:
sudo systemctl status bitcoind
679  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: which type of website is still lacking in bitcoin world? on: March 05, 2015, 01:04:32 AM
I think I have to create a market with some uniqiue functions like that users list everything for sell and buy and also a option to chat with buyer seller and escrower.

I like this idea. Maybe add something page which show the list of escrow and their rate, trust too. First who wants to be an escrow must verify their id and show if they proper to be an escrow.

~iki

This would work but only if it was directly related to the bitcoin trust system since then we would have to rely on another external source to delegate the trust, while here on the forums we already trust the current system, adding a identify verification would be awesome and remove the people that buy accounts with trust.
680  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Rbitcoin - R & bitcoin integration (bitstamp, btce, kraken) on: March 04, 2015, 11:58:17 PM
Really nice work, I'm going to test it tomorrow, is there anyway or are you thinking on making it compatible with a blockchain explorer to get information for specified address on tabular form?

will donate on next payment from work.. keep up the good work.
