awaiting mine as well.

Best case scenario, we get what we ask and Matthew gets deported.

Worst case scenario, Matt gets deported for illegal online gambling.

What makes you think that either of those things is even remotely likely to happen in the real world?

Lol, since you are on my ignore and I've opted to see your comment I'll answer you.  I can sue whoever I want.  It's my money and I will if I feel I've been wronged.  Period.  That is the real world.

Second, it's in Matt's, Vlad's, Bittalk's best interest not to let it get that far.  They will be implicated and reported on.  That is the real world.

Back to ignore you go.

Both of which will drag bittalk and bitcoin magazine's name through the mud for having a co-owner co-creator scammer on their team.  Im willing to see both through to the end if I have to.

Of course we dont need to get that far, they can contact us but have opted not to for some reason.

Wow, no way I'm trading in Matt's debt to me for a years subscription to his own magazine. lol.  Crazy.

Now if you want to talk equity, I'm listening.  Otherwise, hahahaha.

I agree. Vlad and Matthew should get together and offer a plan on how debt holders should take over Matthew's part in the operation.

It would be the right thing to do however I doubt Vlad will do this :/

So then my question is what is our (holders of MNW debt) next step? I have not been contacted by anyone including Vlad.  BitTalk is assuming Matt's debt or trying to.  They are offering monetary value for Matt's debt, i.e. mag subscriptions.  This leads me to two conclusions.  1. They are trying to assume Matt's stake in the company to take over his assets in the company to get rid of him. 2. They are trying to sweep this under the rug and allow Matt a "get out of jail free" option.  Both of which acknowledge Matthew's obligations to his debt holders and his contract to us.  Period.

I will not settle for a year subscription.  I see them desperately trying to achieve that.  Matt owes me 1000k BTC.  Matt co-owns Bittalk.  Either I get equity or I have to move on to other means to get my legally obligated debt.

Why haven't you contacted me Vlad?  I'm owed just as everyone else.  I do not like what I see right now.  Nor do I like my options.

Unless Matthew and Vlad work with us, we have to sue them.

There is a small group now forming who is interested in suing Matthew and all for his assets. I will add your name to the list.

Thanks.

Well, I've still yet to hear from Matthew or Vlad, yet Matthew has been active on the forum as recently as today, in fact 3 seconds ago from the time of this post.  I have limited time to jerk around with this as I'm a single father who owns a small business. Time is money and also time lost with family to break away and check on this.  I will be looking to recoup the expenses of my time and if needed lawyer costs, though I don't want to go this route.  I would personally love to be contacted by Matt or Vlad so that we may conclude this mess and resolve Matt's debt (either through payment in full or an equity offer) that Matthew Neil Wright co-owner of BitTalk and Bitcoin Magazine created.

Thanks.

man, my ignore list is filling up today.  keep supporting a scammer people
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Response on: September 10, 2012, 10:00:17 PM
In hindsight, I no longer see this bet as being funny and I think it was in horrible taste. The community members who were my friends who are standing up against this are right in doing so I and I have no place in the bitcoin community as I clearly don't take it as seriously as everyone else. I am happy to have learned so much from Bitcoin and I'm glad to have shared in many experiences as well, but I cannot discount the claims that I have some issues with manicism as there is no other explanation for my often irrational behavior. I'll be seriously looking at my life and exiting from the community with my sincerest apologies.

Mihai Alisie will be speaking for the Bitcoin Magazine at the London conference. I am in the process of exiting the company completely equity and all in addition to already having resigned as a director and Editor in Chief, as it seems the right thing to do for the future of the magazine.

Ellet's IP is being handed over to a more capable party and I will be exiting any involvement with it.

DCAO is being dismembered and the existing heads will start another organization a bit more seriously toned.

I will not be involved in any businesses in this community any longer. It is clear my immaturity is hurting the community more than I am helping it, and the position I have been in has only resulted in hurting myself and those around me. I'm glad to see that many people did get my joke, but I ask that they not defend me as even I see now that it was crossing all sorts of lines that should never have been crossed and I have absolutely no excuse for it.

I'm sorry I let so many people down that I never even realized actually cared and I hope I can somehow serve as an example of what not to do so that all of this was not a complete waste.

I will now leave how I came.

You truly are a piece of shit.  Everyone knows you're full of shit.  This wasn't a prank this was attempted robbery.  You were betting with money you didn't have.  You made Pirate victims not sell their debt and take your bet as a hedge.  You made people, including me, buy pirate debt based on this bet.  You made people lose money.  Period.

This does not absolve you of anything.  You are in debt to me 1000 BTC.  I expect it to be paid.  You will never restore your credibility until all your 80k BTC debt is paid.

The fact you no longer have your fancy title at bitcoin magazine means nothing to me.  You still have stake in the company.  I will never buy one because of you.  In fact I will never buy anything you or your partners do, ever.  You have fucked many people in this bet not just the bettors but also business associates, lenders who have given you money, the businesses you still have equity in, and people that stood up for you.  They stood up for a scamming piece of fucking shit and will forever be on my ignore and I'm sure many others.

I would have respected you just a little more had you said this blew up bigger than you could handle and it turned into a scam.  The fact that you try and lie even now just proves how low of a human being you are.  Thing is, I don't think you even care.  You are just a drama whore who is now also a scammer.

Get Fucked.

And ignored.  Anyone making excuses or apologizing for this asshole will be ignored.  You are supporting a scammer.  Period.  I won't have anything to do with you now or in the future.
330  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Letter of concern to the board of BitTalk Media Inc. (MNW 80K Fraud) on: September 10, 2012, 06:07:39 AM

Doesn't matter; Matt got fired.

It does matter if Matt still has equity in this magazine.  I could give a shit about titles.  If he is still making money, I don't want anything to do with them.  I'm not alone on this.
331  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Going after Trendon Shavors, Pirateat40, BTCST on: September 10, 2012, 05:46:43 AM

Seriously, I shart a little every time I read that phrase, "Bitcoin Police".  Oh no!!!  Don't call them!!!

Call the real cops/fbi/irs if you believe fraud has been committed.  Otherwise you won't see support from me.

Plan so far is collect evidence, get lawyer, go to FBI for wire fraud.

Cool, glad to hear it.  Honestly, I didn't like you at first.  But to me it really looks like you are attempting to help your shareholders.  I hope I'm not wrong.

Cheers!
332  Other / Off-topic / Re: 20% returns guaranteed. on: September 10, 2012, 05:40:14 AM
Sorry no I am going with the safer 20% offer.  It said "guaranteed" in the title.

I like your posts more and more by the day.  You are intelligent with a sense of humor.

@op

Some people just don't have a sense of humor.  I've learned this on this forum.  It flies right over their heads.  It was a good thread while it lasted.

Cheers!
333  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have you purchased your copy of Bitcoin Magazine Issue #3 at Barnes & Noble yet? on: September 10, 2012, 05:27:27 AM
Now might be a good time to remind everyone that you buy Bitcoin Magazine at over 300 Barnes & Noble outlets across the USA right now. It is listed for the same price as the magazine online but with no waiting for shipping. We are still waiting for some action shots!

I will, as soon as I hear Matthew no longer has financial gain from this magazine.

Cheers.
334  Other / Off-topic / Re: 20% returns guaranteed. on: September 10, 2012, 04:32:45 AM
30%

You send me 100 BTC I send you back 30.  End of our contract.  Simple, easy, no way to lose.  Easiest money you've ever made in your life.
335  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about 10,000BTC Bet (Official) on: September 10, 2012, 04:00:35 AM
If Matthew does own any equity in Bitcoin magazine, I invite those that are in charge to contact me to see If i could help buy him out. I certainly wouldn't mind being part of it, even if its a silent type investment. It only behooves me to see bitcoin magazine (hence the bitcoin) succeed...

AR

Eh, they need to put his shares up on the GLBSE.  It'll be about the only thing worth investing in on there.

Anything worth investing in will never put "shares" up on GLBSE.  For the obvious reasons.

You're right of course, but one can dream can't they? Smiley

Thank goodness that Bitcoin magazine has officially accepted his resignation from all responsibilities. This is the first step to recovery..

Bitcoin Magazine now has my full support..

They were innocent victims and have responded quickly and forcefully.. I applaud their behavior..

AR

Not from me.  Not until I know he's no longer making any money from the magazine.  I don't care if he lost his fancy title.

That's like saying if Matthew just happened to own Intel stock, you'd stop buying any more computers because he "might" be making money from stock appreciation and dividends. Makes no sense man.

Matthew is out as Editor in Chief; he's not even on the team (http://bitcoinmagazine.net/about-us-2/) anymore. He basically committed career-suicide (hope it was worth it for him). Who knows if there is any equity/stock option arrangement over there, but if there is it's not like Bitcoin can just break their contracts with current or past employees on a whim. Don't blame Bitcoin Magazine who started distancing themselves from Matthew almost immediately after he made the bet.

Not really. It's like saying if he co-founded Intel and owned 25% of their stock, I'd stop buying Intel machines and use AMD, a perfectly reasonable alternative. Which I would. Hopefully they truly do distance themselves from him and buy his equity out.

Thanks for the better analogy.  I wouldn't have seen what that Matt's sock even said.  I ignored him a few days ago when he called me a shill from the future. Just assumed it was Matt.

Cheers.

just curious

Matthew has a scammer tag from betting on pirate.

Why does pirate himself not have a scammer tag?

He does.
