Getwork interface has been down for few minutes because of datacenter maintenance. It is working again, sorry for troubles.

In recent days I've been working hardly on vardiff support for the pool. Today I finished and tested basic framework, which will run Variable Difficulty engine for Stratum pool in near future and I'd like to run it on production server in this minimal implementation just to offer user-defined difficulty for miners. Avalon started shipping their ASIC miners already, so user-defined difficulty is definitely useful future and it is awaited by many pool users.

I'd like to test user-defined difficulty in closed beta with few interested people with some powerful rigs (at least 8 GHash/s). If you have such rig and you want to help me test this feature, please PM me. I'll give some of you access to testing website/stratum API. All shares mined against this interface will be credited as usual + some small bonus. Thank you!

Obavam se, ze desatero z te wiki by neproslo na MVCR :-P, takze to budeme muset vymyslet trochu vic civilnejc. Ale vzyvani Bitcoinu se samozrejme nevyhnes :-D.

Jinak zadne konkretni datum potreba neni. Az se nam proste tech 300 podpisu sejde, tak poresime tu zadost.

I just released stratum proxy 1.5.2, which fixes problems with Diablo miner in Windows build.
1.5.2 also works with RPCminer, proxy just must be started with --old-target parameter!

Hi ckolivas/kano, I'm curious if in previous versions (2.8.0/2.9.0) has been known bug where cgminer switched from Stratum back to Getwork? Today some people reported that although they're using newer cgminers with Stratum support, they're still mining on getwork interface (although pool reports X-Stratum correctly and Stratum backend works). They also reported that Stratum worked for them for some time, but then "it switched itself".

I recommended them to update, but I'd feel safer if this has been known and fixed...
426  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + Stratum on: March 04, 2013, 12:33:55 PM
New version 1.5.1 does not work for me . I use diablominer and old proxy 1.2.0 ...

Can you be a bit more specific? Any error message, screenhot? I'll fix it... I'm bit surprised, because I didn't change mining core itself.
427  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: RPC Miners (CPU/4way/CUDA/OpenCL) on: March 03, 2013, 06:34:47 PM
Many people reported problems while using RPCminer with Stratum proxy. I just released Stratum proxy 1.5.1 with workaround especially for RPCminer. If you have RPCminer and want to mine over Stratum, please use proxy with --old-target parameter and let me know if it fixed your issues!
428  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [3500 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + Stratum on: March 03, 2013, 06:33:14 PM
I released stratum proxy 1.5.1. It adds just a workaround for RPCminer, which doesn't work with targets produced by Stratum proxy. If you're using RPCminer, please test the proxy with --old-target parameter and let me know if it fixed your issues!

Oh, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Windows already implemented Stratum protocol? Cool! :-)

I tried 4 times with 4 usernames and 3 different emails, there's no activation link in any email, it's so crazy for me. thus, would there be any other way to sign up? for exampal I sent my username and email address to your email, or by bitmessage?

This procedure is about the ability to reach you in case of some issues. So - I can activate your account, but you won't have any feedback from the pool. Any chance to use some normal mailbox like gmail?

I'm testing email subsystem on the pool and it is working correctly.

I just released Stratum proxy 1.5.0. All proxy users are encouraged to update, this release fixes many bugs from previous versions. There's also link to Windows binary (EXE).

You account is not activated. Did you received activation link and clicked the link inside?

Some mail providers (hotmail.com is one of them I think) refuses to display emails from bitcoin.cz, because a lot of people were too lazy to unsubscribe from payout notification emails (one checkbox on pool profile) and they simply clicked "It's a spam" :-/.

sure, my sgin up name is jiyu_shi, and with my email address. when i login with "jiyu_shi", it returns "Your username and password didn't match. Please try again." and so do on other usernames.

BlockChain says that we mined block 223937 - but not showing in the pool stats..

There was a lag on stats, but it get fixed few minutes later.
436  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: BIP32 (Hierarchical Deterministic Wallets) code available in Java on: March 01, 2013, 02:39:32 PM
I would like that we reuse Electrum's way of encoding the master key and chain code into 12 words using the same vocabulary as Electrum does.

We made a lot of discussion about this with Stick and we think Electrum's word list is poorly designed in many ways and we think that there's still a chance to improve it *before* BIP32+mnemonics hit the mass adoption. Stick is preparing BIP 39 which solves these problems. I'll ask him to publish the draft which he already has for ongoing discussion. As an example, similar words as woman/women, yours/yourself, yell/yellow, wall/walk, train/trail, spot/sport may became a problem for non-native speakers.

One of BIP 39 goal is to use different word list than used by Electrum, so Electrum or any other client may support both algorithms - when user write down the sentence, it is trivial to find which algorithm has been used for generating it.

I see a huge demand for clients with deterministic keys (preferably BIP32) + mnemonic between people around me. So I hope test vectors for BIP32 will be available soon...

zvs, what software is on server side? These late and duplicated notifications looks like bug in server side implementation.

These blocks never existed. These numbers are raw database IDs and I (by accident during the maintenance) created blank templates for blocks which I deleted later.

Because only ~18% of current hashpower (old getwork pool) is mining for Namecoins.
