 BlockDAG PoW system for mining on the main chain as we have announced many times, is the only real solution to decentralize mining. IOHK is still working on the BlockDAG study, it is part of the Horizen Road Map. Check Q4. The BlockDAG implementation will be very complex and complete rewrite of our code so it's a huge project. Actually, when you set up a node your coins are not located on the node, they are safely stored in your wallet in your transparent address, but you cannot move them because your node will not be rewarded. Those coins are staked. It is similar to staking POS coins but it is completely different technology. |
