61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why media against bitcoin ? on: March 11, 2018, 05:54:11 PM
Mass media agree on their activities with the state. You can not cover everything. there are certain rules. If the government prohibits them from talking about something well, they will not talk about it at all or will speak abstractly.
62  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: March 10, 2018, 03:39:51 PM
But in my country it is not prohibited, but there is no official permission. While the government behaves with restraint in this matter.
I, too, have not yet encountered a problem in this area. But I have not seen any billboards on the street yet.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: March 10, 2018, 03:27:22 PM
Many countries have a different policy. They are not interested in what is happening all over the world. for example, a historical phenomenon like the USSR. They existed within themselves and they did not need someone's cryptocurrency.
Well, the crypts were not there. And It clearly showed that if a country lives within itself only, then sooner or later this ideology becomes destructive for themselves.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: March 10, 2018, 03:23:39 PM
They can and want, but they have enough experience and can not understand how to work with what they have learned. I think this is precisely what prevents many countries from developing on a par with others.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: March 09, 2018, 03:57:56 PM
I agree. Bitcoin solves in part the issue of unemployment. People can earn without leaving home.
Not everyone has a computer or a mobile phone to do this. As a rule, unemployed people are those who have nothing to start or simply do not want.
Such people are also disabled. Or former prisoners. They do not take on good work. Half of the population turns away from them.

Do not judge people by yourself. Many countries on the contrary try to create comfortable conditions for the lives of such people. And no matter how bad it may sound, not every disabled person will understand what to do with bitcoin.

67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: March 07, 2018, 10:15:22 PM
Bitcoin trading is definitely a good source of income but not everyone becomes successful, many also loose because of wrong investment and strategy. My advice is that before quitting your current job, there should be a testing period, an overlap where you fo both your job and trading, upon seeing that trading works for you and you have earned income similar or more than your current job, then it is safe to go full time trading.
Yes, everything needs to be studied. Without basic knowledge, you can not do anything. But if you do not try, you will not know it. Suddenly, are you a future expert in this field?
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: March 07, 2018, 10:12:05 PM
Well, you should try. Do not be shy and don't worry. It does not work out - you can try something new. You are young. Take risks.

Taking my coffee break at work, reading up on the latest XC news (have been away from PC for 2 days - going through withdrawal) and noticed more work that XC does with other coins. It's great that Dan is helping other devs, however this may slow development and delay XC milestones and goals.

The price on the exchanges have been between .00125 and .0016 (give or take a few extra 0's). We need to start breaking this pattern. It's good and cheap that I can buy 5 to 10 XC per pay check, but I think it's time we broke out of our rut and started seeing some real movement and volume.

Just my two cents. Smiley

Funny pic below of the "internet dark ages" :
{snap}

Lol 5 to 10 Xcs per pay check? Is this slavery work?

LOL - Not slavery but sometimes it feels like that. I have 2 kids (10 and 11 years old) and i'm a single dad. After mortgage, utilities, food, gas, kids expenses (one son is in swimming and the other is in volleyball) i'm wiped for the month. I'm lucky to buy to 5 to 10 XC per paycheck. I'm actually excited when I accidentally save some extra money so I can take my kids out to eat once in a while. You should see me in the house shutting off all the lights and unplugging everything I can to save some money on my electricity bills.

What's your XC address?
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CLOAK] Cloakcoin | No Premine | X13 | Decentralized Market and PoSA on: September 02, 2014, 12:08:30 PM
Is there any reason cloak is goin up today? or is it that people are starting to see the value of it?

News next week. So I assume the price will rise up by 20-80 % before the news. Just my opinion.

i think thats a pretty sound opinion....

You probably don't want to hear my opinion, but i will give it anyway.

Yes the price will rise because people will take a gamble, but that is what it is at this stage. A gamble. A fucking huge gamble.

So yes, buy more if  you think the devs will deliver trustless anon.

I hate to be an asshole but it doesn't matter if they deliver at all.

People will buy on the rumour and because the volume is so low, the price will rise substantially over the next week wether they deliver or not.

As someone who invested in the ICO stage, I am extremely disappointed with how this launch has been handled. There needs to be a formal statement on exactly what has happened and what is happening. A roadmap for the future and a layout of the team structure would be good aswell. Currently this just seems like a hit and run attempt that moolah has blocked.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SUPERCOIN] SoD System of Decentralization... a trustless form of Anonymity on: August 10, 2014, 05:09:51 PM
market cap of only $250,000?

looks like this could be a nice easy earner.

74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin - X13 - Fair Launch - Bittrex/Cryptsy - 7/23 ANON RELEASE on: July 24, 2014, 05:47:09 AM
So let me get this straight. You copied XCs centralised non trustless mixer from Rev 1 and then you tell everyone you have better anon than XC, even though XC now is on Rev 2 which is a decentralised trustless mixer?

I hope you understand the flaws with Rev 1, otherwise someones gonna exploit your client and steal everyone's coins

No, not at all. We are close with members of various anon dev teams, and started with XC's released code as a base. The workings are more similar to DRK system.  We mentioned this to be respectful and follow the proper traditions of open source. The client part of XC is opensource but the server code isn't, therefore it's not something to be easily copied. The new server code that runs on the nodes is custom and has been proven secure, and the client side code is heavily modified also.

This is whats good about crypto and open source, start with the ideas and work of others, and build on it.

In the future, we may consider having every wallet function as a node. For now, we prefer the simplicity of having masternodes, so we can continue with the rest of our project.

Thanks for the clarification.

it is NOT xc rev 1 copy, it is a brand new code..

Absolute bullshit. He's copied rev 1 to a tee. Where's the source code?

I trapped the market in my giant walls

You mean the 40 BTC to get over 180k? Shit, we ate up 2 times that one in matter of minutes not long ago.

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Complaints about amount of Monero posts thread on: July 21, 2014, 07:09:52 PM
Also Monero is larger than the scamcoins, and thus needs more threads.

Yes, won't take long before monero's blockchain size is as large as every other coins' blockchains combined!

Its funny how everyone in Monero blaintent ignores the fact it can never go mainstream

It's funny how Bitcoin has an even worse problem - their blockchain is about to break 20gb, it'll never go mainstream.

Quick, everyone, sell your Bitcoins and buy Monero, our blockchain is only 750mb!

Stop dodging the point...

Your copy pasta ring signatures from bytecoin cause significant exponential growth ontop of a regular blockchain. It's the same reason the coin you cloned yourselves from ended up dying. Monero's been around for how long? And has how many users compared to bitcoin?

The fact you guys spam this entire forum wth your threads about how Monero is superior, when it is arguable the one of the most flawed coin in existence, is absolutely ridiculous. You know as well as I do until you fix this issue your just dragging people into a ticking timebomb.

[opinion which I do not dispute, about the foolishness of big media buys for XC at this stage]

Again, you entertain the possibility that we don't know what we're doing, yet Rob has done media buys before and therefore does know what he's doing.

You further allow this possibility to create the further imaginary possibility that Rob might be advising us to do big media buys. This is not based on any information we've given out.

Finally this is putting across the possibility that we're out of our depth/are going for an ineffectual marketing strategy/wasting large amounts of money - all based on what? - our having announced that we have a "digital / social media strategist"?

I just don't see how any of this computes. Your entire speculation above is very far from the reality of our upcoming public launch.

I wish I could disclose the actual plans to you, since this would dissolve all this immediately. But of course I can't. But seriously, just rest assured that:

- we have a talented digital / social media strategist.

End.

That's all we said. I just don't know where all this other stuff came from.

Ok, cool. I might be jumping the gun. I just see media planner buyer, and BIG plans, and considering the current stage of this project, my brain starts throwing out major warning signals.

Rob is very talented. As long as your not going mass market with a large portion of the budget then I take back everything I've said.

Keep up the great work.
