Is anybody farming XCH forks?
Right now I'm earning around 100$/day on Chia and 150$ in Silicon fork (Sit token)
Also I have a lot other forks which I can convert into XCH on forks.green
can use chia nft plot to farm? and how many plot you have? right now I have 24800 plots, but in total 45000 I started 2 months ago parallel forks farming only on nft plots How do you manage that many hard drives? I was planning on selling my gear, I got tired of managing all the usb drives. Can you farm chia and the forks at the same time? |

Hello all  It seems when I am mining using this software (I dual-mine Epic cash and ETH with 11xRTX3070s) eventually one or two of the gpus end up not working and even though its stated in the edit of the .bat file (-d 0,1,2,3,4,5) it stops working. They start off fine. They go from however much hashrate depending on the algo (25mhs for epic and 50mhs for eth) to 0mhs. The only thing that works is restarting the pc but I can't be doing that every few hours. Is this normal or is there a way around this. Also I'm a huge noob. Thank you for reading this Can you teach me how to configure BAT file? What operating system is it? I bought 4 PH of BTC mining power on Bitdeer 2 years ago. BTC was around 6k and I made a lot of money, but power seems too expensive now. Just HODL BTC, your returns might be better. BTC difficulty is rising and price might be falling which will destroy your profits. If you take the average BTC difficulty rise per month and calculate it you might get less BTC back then what you paid in BTC for the mining power.

I've been running 130 GPUs since 2016, I'll mine until the cost of electricity is more then I mine, then maybe sell the GPUS. No use in try to overthink time things, if sold all my gpus in 2018 - 2019 I would have regretted it. When mining stops I'll still have my BTC to HODL forever.

I have some RTX A5000s and they are great cards run cool, 102 mh, not sure on watts but I'm guessing a little over 200.
I think you would have to add a the watts of the high speed fan to the RTX A4000s since they run hot maybe 30 watts per fan?

Everything is very expensive right now. I would dollar cost average into crypto or mining, this way your not making a huge make or break bet all at once.

I don't know much about mining, I'm a "beginner" as you say but it seems impossible to me that in less than 2 years the profits drop by 50% on an ASIC...
after if I'm wrong tell me ^^
Buy 30k in video cards that way to can sell them when you can't mine eth. Once eth can't be mined your ASICS will be worthless and I've had ASICs lose 90% of their mining revenue in less then a year. |

I have a couple 6800 xts and 12 6600s. They are the most stable cards I've run in my 5 years of mining. I almost forget I have them, after they are tuned in they have never crashed. Since feb 2020 and 3 restarts because of power outages.  |

I've used panckaeswaps farms and had decent luck. But it seems like a lot of sketchy coins. I understand the idea of a rug pull, but what happens when the coins fall by 50% will your yield fall by 50% and the value of your stake falls by 50%? Bull market might be great but a bear market might not be so good?

The real bear market haven't even started yet and you are saying the EIP1559 impact won't be much? Pray that ETH value remains the same or else the Mining reward will be more devastating in coming weeks, my target is 60MH bringing 2$ to the table, while 30MH struggling at 0.80$ to 1$, you ain't see nothing yet

Bear market time, more worried about price. If history is repeating we are not close to lows, hopefully I'm wrong. I'm not adding or upgrading anything mining wise. Only thing I'm doing is shorting and will cover and reevaluate once we bottom. 1559 will have zero effect on price if the down trend continues.

How many watts does a HD use? 14TB HD earns $3.40 right now. If a HD uses 20 watts you could power 11 HD in place of a 3080. My farm is around 14,000 watts that is 700 HD $2,000 a day in rewards. Rewards will continue to drop for this very reason.

Anyone selling short? I know i'm a broken record but you could save yourself a lot of pain if we are following the normal pattern we are in for a bear market. I started mining in late 2016, if I was smart i would have hedged in 2018. No reasons for your income to fall, you can take a lot of risk off the table for a small price.

Network is growing so fast by the time pools open your rewards will be garbage. I'm farming and plotting on Hpool to hopefully make my money back before rewards are garbage. I'm plotting around 10TB a day and my rewards stay the same due to network growth, lol.

A RTX3080Ti doing 65MH for ETH mining sucks, I won't be buying this cards if this is all they can do, the normal 3080 and 3070 are lot better but if I could get at MSRP price then no worries lol 🤣 yea I'm in

Chia looks bad, I have 205 TB and my plotting is slowing increasing my revenue but its not going to be worth expanding if the network growth continues. 14TB makes $5 a day which is great but I'm assuming that will go down fast. Defi looks like an avenue no overhead but high risk. I'm taking the revenue I would use to expand mining and using it for DeFi.
I do have a really solid power deal so I would mine something. Although I think Eth won't go to POS Lol, you are right, now Eth 2.0 won't happen until end of 2022. |

Mining is like the markets very high highs and very low lows. Make your buys tings are low and mining is "dead". I bought half my gear in 2019-2020 75 5700s when they were making .70 a day.
