Steemit is down right now, but Steemlt.com is available now:

https://www.reddit.com/r/steemit/comments/4vevdt/this_is_a_clone_of_steemitcom_fully_functionnal/

Just replace i with l in your urls.

As I noted on reddit:

Quote
Bear in mind that any such web site could be malicious, or become compromised, and steal your keys. I'm not making any accusation here, just a comment on general principles

Personally I wouldn't trust a "replica" site... Roll Eyes

I would if I ran it myself.

You can build Steemit clone on your local machine using code from Github. No reason to trust any third party.
1365  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex HACKED - funds stolen ! on: August 07, 2016, 01:07:59 AM
I think this would slow down the process of being able to sell bitcoin on their platform, as well as the ability to to debit customers' losses when they have leveraged losses.

Probably not so much, because they only settled accounts to the blockchain once per day. The exception being, if you bought bitcoins and immediately requested to withdraw them. That already took 15-45 minutes generally. Not sure how much this would really add.

The problem with BitGo is that they signed transactions that they should not have signed. I speculate that BitGo was signing transactions they believed to be "internal transfers" between bitfinex accounts, which I suspect are not subject to the limits that bitfinex set, although this is speculation.

They certainly signed transactions they shouldn't have signed. Even if they were internal transfers, that kind of volume (above, say, 20k or 30k) should trigger a circuit breaker. A telephone call, some kind of second step verification...something, rather than simply auto-signing for 120k bitcoins.

If he had been smart this would end up horrible for Primedice...
Pretty dumb to deposit just 0.01 and 'win' 80BTC and pass undetected, and he even opened scam accusation thread which was even worse move.
Primedice was under public pressure to deliver PD4, do not announce new version next time until you are sure it is safe and bug free.

I sent a deposit of 5 btc after the site was back up and was told it would be available after a single confirmation. I am showing at least 2 confirmations now and my funds are not available (show as unconfirmed on receive page), when can I expect to have these funds?

I sent a much smaller deposit (~5 mbtc) more than 1 day ago, while the site was down but before they requested we stop deposits/withdrawals - or at least before I noticed. The deposit has 205 confirmations and already appears to have been 'swept' into a master account, i.e. it has been withdrawn from my MP deposit address.

I'm not necessarily concerned or impatient. Like you, however, I am sort of waiting for the deposit to hit my account. For me, the site isn't really back up until it does ...

Thanks for your responses! Can you both please submit a ticket through the site so these can be looked into more thoroughly?

Just created a ticket, thanks for looking into this

Same with me, deposit not showing after 8 confirmations. Bitcoin QT out of sync?
1369  Economy / Gambling / Re: SPORTSBET.IO - Win a share of 3000 mBTC every day during EURO 2016! on: July 14, 2016, 07:19:13 PM
Hi everyone!

Smiley To those of you who used to accuse SportsBet.io of tampering with the results of our previous lottery draws - here's the VIDEO showing how exactly the winners of our latest ADDITIONAL 5,000+ mBTC raffle were chosen at random.

As you know, we arranged this raffle for our active users not involved in cheating previously (yes, unfortunately, this was the case in many of our draws), and each of the 50+ lucky winners got their up to 1,000 mBTC prize.

We would kindly ask these winners to confirm their wins here in our forum thread (if any of them is a member here). Smiley

Thank you for watching, and have a nice day!

You guys showed the raffle in the video but didn't mentioned the prizes for each and I am totally confused about it
This 5000 mbtc raffle should contain 66 winners according to the previous one but you guys chose only 50. You also didn't provided us any breakdown of prizes

I think this is just an example of the  created few  hours ago this is not the last  lottery
Because I do not see some of the winner's name there like MrK**** MrV ** and Mr. more
My advice to the lottery in the future should upload a video in each drawing

Video is only worth if it is live stream

congrats to all the winner and hopefully those accusing you will realized that the promo is just an addition to the fun staying in your site and the real business is not scamming anyone, but i'm glad you show this up for the proof.

How can I check is my name on the list?
Are you operating from Russia, Excel language is russian...

1372  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: VEGASCASINO.IO CHEATS PLAYERS on: July 12, 2016, 12:40:50 AM
You should have all his bets saved in your database and look at all his bet IDs and use it as a proof.

I assume they did that first.  His affiliate would also have that data.  If there was record of the hand, they would of just paid him.  (This is .1 BTC were talking about)

Also, he doesn't mention playing between screen shots (after sandwhich) but his balance went from .8 mbtc to more than 3 mbtc.

Also, the whole story just screams of broke desperate degen.

Balance at the top of the screen is not frequently update from my experience, sometimes balance is updated after you refresh or load new game.
He said that he also has video. If he can update video that would be great.
In case of provably fair game an user should post bet id, hashes and verification would be easy.
Vegascasino is more funny with their official response than himself.
1373  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Primedice] Beware Guyz, Scamming HR!!!!!! on: July 12, 2016, 12:36:35 AM
I don't gamble at all and don't know anything about primedice, but I didn't see in this thread whether all this stuff is in their TOS or not.  I realize this is the bitcoin world, but do they have regulations they have to follow?  Real physical casinos in the U.S. definitely do and you're supposed to report winnings to the irs, etc.  Just curious if anyone knows.
You are right. Its not in the TOS and thats why is a scam.
Physical casinos are licenced, these scums ain't.
Physical casinos pay tax, these scums don't.
I can go on snd on.

They should only hold coins for a reasonable period until they finish investigations if they suspect cheating was involved.
Those questions seem unreasonable they request more information than common KYC, btw whats your favourite online shop and do you like more Samsung or Apple?
1374  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BetSoft Non-Payment of Jackpot on: July 12, 2016, 12:32:35 AM
He goes ranting everywhere about how he got scammed,  then suddenly goes annoyingly silent or post off the point replies. With due respek to the people reading this, I must say fuck u jason

Thank you for the respek.  You're an idiot.  I've said all that I am allowed to say.

Well it seems like you're content with what you received, which obviously came attached to a NDA. It was becoming clear you weren't going to get the jackpot that you were entitled to, and you've taken whatever amount you could get your hands on. In one respect, I don't blame you. On the other hand, it sucks that they got away with this so easily.

Ok that was a settlement between jasonort and Betsoft. So Betsoft admits they were wrong. Why does betcoin.ag still supports Betsoft?

Thats because without betsoft, they wont have any other casino games left.

Or they share not winnable money from the 'jackpot' pool.
1375  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: VEGASCASINO.IO CHEATS PLAYERS on: July 12, 2016, 12:10:02 AM
VegasCasino.io there is delay  before double up button shows if he made screenshot immediately after win it will look like screen he posted.
Double Up button shows after 2+ seconds on my side, he probably made screenshot instantly after win.
I tested it on practice mode.

You should have all his bets saved in your database and look at all his bet IDs and use it as a proof.

Vegas Casino your answer to the complaint is not acceptable

Example screen of a genuine win :

1376  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINROYALE.COM 2.0 • New Design • Provably Fair • 1 BTC Bonus • Max Bet Doubled! on: July 11, 2016, 04:46:12 PM
How long do deposits usually take before it becomes available? I've been waiting for an hour now.

It depends, usually after next block is mined if you added sufficient fee.
CoinRoyale Features:
- Instant deposits, no confirmations required.
- Nearly instant withdrawals after 1 confirmation.
Coinroyale doesn't have minimum confirmation, deposits are instant. there might be problem on coinroyale system, have you tried contacting support?

Deposits are not instant since one year ago.

Did he compromise your book?  Are other user's coins in danger?

No, users coins were never at risk and none of our clients were affected from this incident.

So then what did he "hack"?

AFAIK it is related to double spending, rangernation sent a bet (around 15btc IIRC) and attempted to double spend when he knew his bet is losing
