Yes, product is important for any project. If team has a product it creates interest in the project and investor believes his money will be safe. If there is no product than team will have to put more efforts in convincing the investor.

As so many people are buying and selling coins so price fluctuate. If more coins are available in market, price will reduce and if there is a shortage, price will increase.

There are many coins available these days but I would prefer to keep few good coins rather than keeping so many. As I can manage my investment in few type of good coins in a better manner, it is difficult to track the price of many coins.

I too agree that its difficult for all coins to survive. I think a coin which is traded more will have more value and survive for long. It depends on the kind of coin also whether it can be used as a method of payment or not.

I think its "Bitcoin" that comes to my mind whenever I think about crypto currency as this is the most trusted crypto currency. Bitcoin has the maximum market share and no other coin can replace it.
