Wow, apparently I started... something.
Let's keep the topics to Qortal huh?
Holy crap you guys are something else.
Anyway, to those who are having the issue where the core goes into 'synchronizing' mode randomly, this issue as well as the random transaction submission issues are being resolved over the next couple releases.
We are also changing the PRESENCE transactions used on the Trade Portal, into a protocol-level setup as opposed to utilizing unconfirmed transactions. This should help considerably with scalability.
This same idea will be used in the future most likely for Q-Chat transactions as well. But that part hasn't been started yet.
Overall there are BIG improvements coming in the next couple releases.
We are also planning on adding the mempow to minter submissions very soon.
J don't listen to this guy. He's banned from Twitter, banned from FB, and keeps coming back to Harass report and make photo edits of people having conversations with him. He's "Vlad2Vlad" from Ixcoin. All he does is go around stirring up drama and people don't really know it at first. He probably came to Qortal because of Traxo's involvement with my team's project I am a member of (Devcoin) and because QuikMythril and Traxo are trying to figure an electrum for Devcoin out so it can be in the Qortal exchange... He recently got my telegram banned and found another one somehow and sent me a 26 minute psychotic audio message I refuse to listen to. Just report him and hopefully he can't bother you guys in your team's social media. For reference of telegram: https://twitter.com/murstrato/status/1500185801463943169Sorry the Romanian psycho found his way to you. His alt right posts and nazi praise is something else. It's why I stopped talking to Ixcoin devs (not all of which are bad), but HE is poison and all over social media. He always comes back but maybe they can make him set another VPN or something at least by IP bannning. Just take a look at our topic. He creates many accounts that are all him.

develCuy has pointed out the obvious, FreiXLite.com has listed our coin and the books have a VERY low rate to buy DVC at. In order to get up to our current Freiexchange.com DVC/BTC rate of 1 satoshi that we've accepted as the nominal value of DVC/BTC since being delisted from altilly.com in 2018, we'd need to see DVC/LTC hit 362 litoshi or - 0.00000362 LTC per DVC coin! Right now there's sell orders to buy DVC as low as 9 litoshi (0.00000009 LTC per DVC!!!). If anyone in the community wants to snap up more DVC cheaper than 1 satoshi (0.00000001 BTC per DVC) here is your chance! I will wait a little to begin buying myself. Hopefully the community increases their position here if they are long DVC like the rest of us You can get DVC/LTC here: https://freixlite.com/market/DVC/LTCYou can buy DVC/BTC here: https://freiexchange.com/market/DVC/BTC(recently we had a buy at 0.00000001 BTC on Freiexchange so hopefully people become aware of FreiXLite's DVC/LTC listing!)

UPDATE: We can make 22.x talk to old 0.8.x by deactivating CSV (BIP68, BIP112 and BIP113) and changing the default transaction version to 1. I did some testing and seems to work! Just pushed the change to the repo. If you wish to give it a try, please clone and build again. ORIGINAL Bad news, Bitcoin Core 22.x is not compatible with 0.8.x transactions and the reverse, need to patch net.cpp. Another approach might be to implement relay-only nodes able to support both 0.8.x and 22.x - develCuy New Bitcoin Core's txfee computing is a bit complicated and hard to match 100% with Devcoin's. Also, generated transactions aren't relaying due to some incompatibility: ERROR: CTxMemPool::accept() : nonstandard transaction type
The error above happens when 22.x client tries to relay a tx to a 0.8.x node, need to change a few more parameters (I hope). - develCuy ...Yup -reindex seems to have done it. Wallet now shows same balance I had before so looks okay so far, thanks!
-MarkM-
Wonderful! I did try some transfers but max fee seems to be setup too low. I'm working on a fix. - develCuy Non standard tx are over 40 byte OP_RETURN I think...

Bitcoin 12 years ago was is not used widely but only to those who are really looking forward to seeing its future use. And then a few years later it was demonized as only for criminals online and gamblers. I guess Wikipedia was just not prepared to be demonized like Wikileaks.
Couldn't complain about what it could have been if they did start early but they still can start now. Times changed. We now see how important to have a currency that is not confiscatable by private companies like Paypal.
Acceptable, 12 years ago the real purpose of bitcoin was to pay online at low fees and also quickly, then later on it went on a bull run, and after that bitcoin became known because it is said to be used in illegal transactions on the deep web, such as buying guns and drugs, which is demoralizing because if we talk bitcoin at that time it was like illegal, but now that the price has reached another ATH, people's views of bitcoin have changed and they are eager to invest in bitcoin. It's really funny because Bitcoin has since been extensible like a protocol that has bundled together pre-existing capabilities it has along with advanced ideas and hardware to run such apps with extended protocols on top of it. People really don't know the lengths of that until they learn the capabilities of the successive releases of the software but also the innovation that sprung out from transactions on the ledger (Counterparty, Mastercoin/Omni, taproot - (combining multiple sigs into one for more privacy and using less bytes)... Seriously all of these expansions are just the tip. The real fun will be when the automated on-chain value is equivalent to its fiat price and not the aggregation of exchanges being its "price".. people will have their minds blown. I use study and read all these protocols and we have to think of Bitcoin as still being undervalued. Like said earlier people are only thinking about Bitcoin in terms of what they're used to being accepted by others as money - aka fiat. Not the people who write on forums like this with software from before I had pubic hair. But you know what I mean. Even the "price" going up - we all know there's value written into the chain from the entire history of its ledger, we know that one days the tables and fiat rates and aggregator web sites we use won't be reflective of its automatically, machine read "valuation" - much like a company's valluation when someone buys what they believe a company to be worth. Fortunately we do have digital ledgers that scientists corporations and astrophysicists can put into an AI aggregator and it can tell us without ANY latency at a certain point what the value per unit is on this technology and its extended use - we have no clue how far the reaches go but I know that we won't live in a world where we depend on supply and demand and authoritarians telling us in the media and govt what's worth what and what's not worth anything. We are the one's who realize that value has nothing to do with fiat prices in the near future. Fact is - people will be more than happy to directly accept Bitcoin for whatever you want to transact when they stop thinking they need fiat.

For those of you who don't know, "Times truly Change", this is why we shouldn't write things or people off too early, tomorrow might come with a lot of changes and surprises. Let me tell you guys a story that relates to the picture above - - Once upon a time, there was an old woman, one day, she was hungry and felt like eating akidi(akidi is a kind of beans but not actually like the beans we all know), she remembered she had some old akidi stored up somewhere, she located it and brought it out, behold, according to her, the akidi was too bad and can't be cooked and eaten, she called them useless threw them away inside the bush and looked for something else to eat. The akidi which she threw away all dried up inside the bush due to the sun, eventually, the raining season came, and after a heavy downpour, the akidi began to germinate, they grew and began to bear fruits. One day, the old woman walked by the bush and sew that behold, there were akidi plants in the bush with good ripe fruits ready to be plucked, the woman being old, could not just walk into the bush in other not to be bitten by poisonous reptiles, so, she had to look for a way to get money, so she could hire some laborers to help her clear the bushes and make the path clean enough so she could access those akidi she ones called useless and threw away., then she thought to herself, "if only I knew earlier, I would have planted this akidi around my compound, by now, I wouldn't have to go through the stress of looking for money to pay labourers to clear the Bush and make the path clean, and again, if I had planted the akidi around my compound, the akidi would have produced more for me to eat now because I would have maintained them properly right from the time they started germinating. Lesson - if Wikipedia hadn't written off bitcoin as a scam and went ahead to accept it as a form of donation since 2010, alot of people would have donated hundreds of thousands of bitcoins to them back then since bitcoin was almost worth less then, by now, they would have all retired as millionaires and billionaires. And today, they've added bitcoin back as a form of donation, but I will rather donate usd to them than donate my precious bitcoins(my digital gold). More importantly if they deleted it. Who authored the original? Anyone have a record?

*ignored*
But anyway, should we maybe moderate this thread a little better so the community can hear actual true things about the project. You really think doxing me is something I'm not two steps ahead on you when you beg me for 0.25 BTC every day? Then get angry when I say no "Vlad"? My bitcointalk name is realdantreccia I think that'd obvious.
Mods? Can we get our Devcoin thread back - he just keeps replying and harassing our Lead Developer because god knows why and I really don't care for politics, rants, and insanity. I care about Devcoin and introducing people to develCuy and our project because it is worth promoting to me regardless of money.
From now on my posts won't mention anything despite what doxing or online harassing you want to keep digging up on me. I've got no shame I've been through it all. I'm just here for Devcoin.
Sorry to the community of people for having to post this instead of something stupid that Vlad's going off again on. It's open source code. If we wanna use any of it - we will.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Tenebrix, a CPU-friendly, GPU-hostile cryptocurrency

Tenebrix is past block 500000 now at 501722 block(s). Exporting my txns I can see every hash since I began generating blocks (processing infrequent sends btw myself to others and to myself). There's not much to look at with Tenebrix's GUI on Windows. But it works between transfers and connecting to peers on Linux from my Windows PC. And you never know where the distribution and blockchain that is truly stealth and continuously running since it launched can go on the p2p network. One fun prediction? This is a chain of transactions being recording to blockchain in a text type message that Tenebrix (by choosing scrypt) software can keep logging in its ledger and be able to pull up any hashed tx or block from the beginning of its existence as a network. You never know if your other "peer" is a super powerful pool or corporation masquerading and consolidating all its power into one user. But with Tenebrix, being stealth (literally means it thrives in the shadows) - we may be securing space for a network that interacts in places we don't even know. I highly recommend participating. Gamefi will be great for Tenebrix. AS will scrypt secure measures against attackers who can't attack with more power - Scrypt's orig use was for creating an Online backup database service. So its memory intensive, but it isn't too hard to handle for processors since 2017 that I use.
