bitcoin is much better, just zoom out a bit, altcoins got rekt over 90% of their value in january and btc is still holding up pretty well

I think that right now, in this part of the market cycle it's better to wait for them to be listed on exchanges than go for the ico

they usually trade below ico price

A lot of them don't actually do that, it all depends on the circumstances in which you find yourself in

if you need the money and don't think much of the project, you sell it

look for good entries to short on 5-10x leverage

you can make as much money using the red button now as you did using the green button during bull market

it's better than not being on an exchange but that dfoesnt mean they're legit, 90% are scam projects

because that's how market cycles work, and right now is a good chance to double down on your investments or enter it

sooner or later, of course - but in the meantime it could drop into double digits as well...hope you sold a long time ago

those don't mean too much because ratings get manipulated and therefore are not a good representation of the real value of the projects

just don't end up being broke because you've bought altcoins in the middle of a bear market, a lot of them are going to zero

nobody can answer that question and be sure, but either way you should adapt to the market rather than waiting for it to change

it probably will, but it's not like that will cause something to happen..what's important is btc price movement, namely whether or not it makes a higher swing high on the weekly (breaking 7400)

That's a decision you'll have to make for yourself, but I wouldn't buy alts before btc breaks one of it's most recent highs /7400) until then we're still in a downtrend

it is very possible, dont be fooled by this small recovery, it will be very hard for btc to pass 6800 and if it continues down from there it's bye bye for eth

You shouldn't buy altcoins right now, it's actually good that you're scared - a lot of them are still going to drop another 50% at least, btc dominance is probably going to rise to at least 70%
