traders = new scam blood
what you are really looking for is folks who will buy up coins and stake them, not trade them. reduce the supply in the markets and your price will rise naturally.
Buy/sell it doesn't matter. I think you're smarter than what you just said or am I wrong?

I've never been a fan of swaps. Swaps are how Goldman Sachs single-handedly bankrupted Greece along with the OK of their government. Swaps are also what caused the world IMF crisis... and swaps are pretty much what kills existing markets. So yeah, not a fan of swaps. Swaps affect the entire eco-system and not just the number of coins. It also gives a negative connotations such as we're washing our hands of the current situation and start something else. etc.... etc.... The alternative is change the stakes and work the coins.
i doubt a coinswap for 1337 will have such a global devastating impact... but could you explain this part? "change the stakes and work the coins" as for 'changing the stake', i already did that twice and will continue to do that every 3 months. the next halving of the APR is scheduled around the 25th of november. im looking into a more user friendly way to do the upcoming halvings and i'll try to have them all included in the next wallet release so that users dont have to change wallets after every halving anymore. Poll has been closed. final result was: What is good today might not be good tomorrow When you swap, you'll just be repeating history only to do it again. In regards to working the coins, you can decrease the stakes to a point where it is not feasible for exchanges that stake coins. Increase the number of uses for the coins to give it some utility and start culling in the coins with low sell orders. Focus on the two points, this way if someone wanted the coins they'd have to buy it getting rid of glut on the exchanges and by decreasing the stakes, it will decrease the hemorrhaging of the coins to the point it can reverse itself via utility and usage.

looks more like the Dev has Dumped and left.. this coin needs some major fixing guys. coinswap to a smaller coincap, and way lower return, something like 2-3% a year. and add some features..
Is this ture. Thundertoe have you left us already? If so may I know why? I wouldn't be surprised. Nothing new in crypto. Sad mentality really.

Good to see some ORB activity going on lately. @ TVZ & Mario: Crypto-city is now awarding activity points to all of its citizens for blogging, sharing videos, posting threads, making comments, etc.. they can gift their points to friends or trade it in for Crypto. Let me know if you guys want to participate. I'm thinking of putting up a page which list all the coins that people can trade points for crypto. We will be expanding these features as we go. Login to the city to see it in action.

Glad to see higher trade volumes today. I really hope we can keep this trend and let the price rise a bit! Indeed. We need more traders.

Other than the wallet being a resource hog, it works fine for me.

unless the average daily trade volume for the last 14 days exceeds 0.3 BTC Wasn't this 0.2 BTC in the past? I think the daily average is not far from 0.3 BTC past 2 weeks. Orbitcoin is also listed at several other good exchanges (see OP) so i'm not worrying. If people are not actively trading any crypto has the potential to have Zero monetary value. So the more higher volume exchanges it is on the better. I trade ORB 24/7 on 3 exchanges with the most volume and it is still like pulling teeth. For example all cryptos are susceptible to rapid devaluation because everyone is holding and staking and but don't trade. The reason for this is that the crypto doesn't doesn't currently have any existing real world use in place to inject any other type of value. So if no one trades then it means they are not willing to support the coin. This is what most people don't understand. Simply holding the coin is not support.

ORB is on Bittrex removal list.

Would be nice to see more trading activity. In our current state, value of ORB is derived from trade and demand activities and til there is more uses outside of the exchanges.

The wallet can only deal with a small amount of coins. If you have a large number of coins and blocks it will hog your computer resources and slow your system down.

Cryptopia's good, but volume could definitely improve. Doesn't help that the HYP community is really not doing much on the trading end. We need more consistent trading activity. I have orders up and down the order book at every point. Be sure to join the conversation at Crypto-city as well.
