The rough is number is always on the move so it pretty much has a life of its own that correlates with the number of people that contribute to the HYP network. So definitely take that into account when setting up your blocks. The important thing to remember is, it is not static. A good resource is Presstab's HYP explorer site. |

I'm staking HYP and TRK on the same machine too, the wallet works great btw I'm just curious what are these 140-150trk stake rewards ? I thought it's a fixed 200 TRK like on hyp 1k. How is it calculated ?

Hyperstake (and others...) has a different way of calculating hash, calculate once and use many times, old qt code just keeps re-hashing the same thing.
Cpu load on my box is about 50% for Truck while Hyp runs mostly idle, and then my Hyp wallet has a lot more stacks then Truck wallet.
I will look into it. That's great, thanks ! I've successfully ported Presstabs HYP staking code to TRK, test wallet works perfectly with much less CPU load. But there is a problem, new code allows very easy exploit of timeshift vulnerability so before releasing the new code we have to hardfork to fix that. Will prepare the mandatory wallet update and post it in a few days. That's great news. After this we, need to focus marketing and real usage.  BTW: Could you change the port numbers for this release? People that are already running the Hyperstake wallet at the same time is likely to have port conflict issues. ... and if you could include multisend that'd be fantastic! |

The first page claims that with Hyper Stake you can get up to 750% stake interest. What needs to be done in order to gain this high stake percentage? Are all stakes only 1000 or do you get bigger stakes if you have more HYP? I don't understand where the 750 % comes from.
That was initial staking percentage, but now it's 340 %. It keeps shrinking, because there is limit for blocks per day (960 if I remember correct) and limit for max stake (1000 HYP). As the supply increases, these limits reduces annual staking percentage. What is the staking percentage drop rate? You said it's at 340% right now, instead of 750% what is the next level it will drop to? The cap is still 750%. The results are different for everyone because of the competitive nature of everyone competing for the 960 available stakes per day. So,it varies from person to person over time as well as depend on how they split their coins and block size as it's also dynamic. |

@Noise. Any plans for the rest of this and next year for TRK?
Currently I'm busy with other stuff but planning some kind of PR campaign for TRK soon enough. Also I think it would be good to expand the inflation control further by lowering max stake amount cap. Let's say change max stake amount from 200 coins to 100 coins for the next year and then set it to 50 coins forever or something like that. Not sure yet though. What do you guys think? Simply being listed on an exchange is no longer enough. If we are to have a real shot at building future value, we need to seriously consider building real world applications such as a mobile wallet and a campaign toward real world everyday usage. |

I disagree with this. It has turned out pretty profitable for anyone that has done a few things
1) Be smart with buys, don't buy in the middle of a pump that the price goes up unusually fast. Time buys over weeks or months and get a much better buy in price.
2) Stake long term. People that try it for one round of staking usually don't make a profit. Look at the value of a lot of the long term staking wallets and many of them are very profitable. Even when there was a big HYP craze on cryptsy, many of the people that started staking then and have continued now, are doing pretty well.
agreed, it's a fisherman's coin, i have a few just in case it goes 1000x by an accident, but usually prefer active hunt with traps, dogs, and fire-arms, so "see for yourself" means "see if you like the slowest possible way it's making you rich" lol Nothing is by accident. This is just the beginning. |

you can find by yourself in this topic people who post about their gains. If i'm selling this product since 2013, PROBABLY it works good, don't you think? I can write about gains and parameters, but that parameters could became osbolete the next day. I can write about big gains but then tell people "I'm sorry about your loss, the configuration i give you yesterday is not working more, it's not my fault". I can decide to sell a product but don't trade for other people And i can give any day support to people who wants to learn trading. (Usually i manage 60-100 Pm Daily) I don't understand what are you trying to demostrate. You came here, you ask thing, i give you responses. You don't like my responses? No problem. You don't like my product? No problem. You think you can tell me what i must do or not with my product? No you cant C.A.T. is not what you're looking for ok? End of the story. Peace & Love. No I don't. Because there are no exact settings or exchanges. I would not have asked if there was. I looked. Gains can be very anomalous in trading. Long term growth is another story. Nobody knows that better than someone like myself. I don't doubt you're a nice guy, but you are selling a system that is intended to make money. You have to distinguish yourself as not being a charlitain. When replies are all over the map........"it depends, it depends, it depends" that makes it dead simple for you to shift liability and blame users. If your strategy works then don't sell it. Simple. My door isn't shut here (although its pretty clear Sampey isn't going to sell anything to me at this point) If anyone else has proof in the form of exact exchanges and settings then please post. Prove me wrong. Share your exchanges, settings, time span and results, but making fun of me for doing nothing more than seeking honesty isn't going to help. What you are asking is equivalent of having someone show you how to be a professional driver. It's not going to happen. There's no magic pill or setting as the market is living, breathing, thinking people on the other end that is constantly changing. Just like a professional car driver, it takes fundamental skills in learning how to drive and discovering the limits and capabilities of your machine. Practice, practice, learn, improve and practice some more. At the end of the day, how well you do depends entirely on you. What works for someone else may not work for you at all. There are no short cuts. A hammer is just a hammer to the average person, but in the right hands arises a home. However, it's just a hammer. It's a tool. Nothing more, nothing less. There is no secret or magical way of using it. So the real question is, if you're not willing to invest in discovering yourself, your capabilities and your potential tools, why should you expect anyone else to do it for you? Again, you guys cut so much slack its ridiculous. Definitely not. And you will learn. I have a ton of experience with trading systems. Its been my full-time profession for the past 12 years, and I've been in the industry for 15-16. That's why I'm looking for specifics. There is so much junk out there I just want data. But magically, it never shows up. Strange, don't you think? Google "choice supportive bias". This thread is packed with people (buyers) having it. If you do have said experience as a trader, I know you are smarter than what you've previously posted unless you think I'm wrong. |
