Thank you for the extra price grouping options!  I wanted that too!

BTC Guild is a hot bed for DDOS.  I hope this comes back soon because I'm freezing...  My heaters are off.  LOL
I was wondering why it was so cold in my room this morning!  My heaters are off too!  brrrrrrrr

Yes sometimes I won't see my order in the depth charts, sometimes it will show but it will be exactly double of what I set at Gox.  Kinda strange.  Oh, and the other day there was a bug that eventually showed 190,000 BTC on the buy side at a random number.  Refreshes of the whole page fix these bugs.
524  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3.20 in one big buy? on: December 11, 2011, 05:28:53 AM
Volume is off the charts today.  It's been fun watching the big buys.
525  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just broke 3! on: December 11, 2011, 05:26:53 AM
Well my statement earlier today is total crap.  Here we are with two giant rallies above 3.00
526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just broke 3! on: December 10, 2011, 10:03:25 PM
We aren't seeing much support above 3 this time.  The last few weeks when we have broken above 3 it stayed there for a little while.  Now it falls below 3 easily before another little mini rally.  The support seems to be higher at 2.90.

This is excellent because it shows how hard it is for a total newbie to come into bitcoin.  The hurdles are giant.  This is not good.  We need to grandma proof this is fast as we can.  I'm not exaggerating, we need this to be as easy as cash or credit cards.  I have been hardcore into enterprise computer engineering for 14 years now, and it's sort of trivial for me, but to your average user they are completely lost.  If we tear down these hurdles it will guarantee bitcoin adoption on a mass scale, no doubt about it.

Yes the way it works is that the lease and the utility bill combined is less per month than just drawing from utility.  They started doing this the last few years after they realized not many people are going to buy into a $40k array and wait 15 years for it to start paying itself off.
529  Economy / Speculation / Re: Last time $3 was "the manipulator"... what now? on: December 09, 2011, 10:26:58 PM
I've seen a) performed by his/a bot.  There was a constant bid of 147BTC appearing and disappearing at a regular interval.  The bot throws it up to trigger other bots or people to sell into it and immediately pulls out.

I prefer to say Fuji Bukkake
531  Economy / Speculation / Re: MtGox API Trading on: December 09, 2011, 04:12:46 PM
Doh!  Still that's only two hours max.  I stare at the charts longer than that before making a trade sometimes.  I'll try goxsh, thanks.
532  Economy / Speculation / Re: MtGox API Trading on: December 09, 2011, 06:50:45 AM
Yeah one language I do not know yet is Ruby...
533  Economy / Speculation / MtGox API Trading on: December 09, 2011, 05:47:13 AM
What script/program are you guys using to trade on Gox via the API?  I'm tired of logging in again every time the 5 min timer auto-logs me.  Too lazy to figure out how to hack the cookie or get more advanced to keep the session persistent.
534  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Real Time Charting, Order Book, and Time & Sales on: December 09, 2011, 02:23:49 AM
MtGox socketIO keeps going down intermittently every day, but your recent patch to fall back to polling is working beautifully.  Thank you.

Hahahaha...dude, listen.  Buy high, sell low.  It doesn't matter *what* makes the price go up or down.  It doesn't matter how fast, it doesn't matter how much.  It doesn't matter which exchange you use.  All that matters is that your trades are set up in the right spots.  Not every trade will be positive, nor every trade negative just because of Bitcoinica.  Set limit orders, set stop losses, watch all the charts.  Do whatever you have to do, but don't blame Bitcoinica for your loses.

Transfer any amount 0,05 - 0,1 BTC to the 1st address in the list.

Delete it and move the list up by ONE. At the 6th place paste your personal Bitcoin address.

And send this e-mail to as much friends or enemies as you can: 5-10-30-50 people, and wait when the Bitcoin is worth more than 30/BTC

-> Why not putting your address at 1st place?

-> Do that and you can only get 0.25 BTC why?:

6*6*6*6*6*6=46665 new people interested in Bitcoin

46665 x 0,05 = 2332.8 BTC

Let say 20% will send something

2332,8 x 0,2 = 466,56 BTC in your Pocket to be sent to You.

Just imagine how much it will be worth if 2000000 more new people will know about Bitcoin, how many merchant will accept Bitcoins?

You don't have to send any Bitcent, but if you do, we can move the flow of the Bitcoin together, it will be worth more than it is now.

Stocking it equals slowly killing it. Bitcoin will die if there is no flow, even a Bitcent helps.

As in physics and nature: water, fire, avalanche, storm clouds, and every thing in the whole universe is so powerful because every particle is moving together, generating massive, tremendous amount of energy.

Once Bitcoin set in motion.

NOTHING and NOONE can STOP IT.

Let US show them who is in charge of this planet, Our planet.

The Bitcoin Must Flow

If you don't like it, don't use it.  And you shouldn't care if we lose our asses using it.  Make your trades somewhere else and profit off our mistakes.  You can make money whether the market goes up or down.

OpenCL is as low-level as you are going to get.

My parents, er...room mates...just signed the contract for a 33 panel array for our house.  Some of that is due to me mining 24/7, hehe.  We did it the lease way, where you just pay a monthly bill to the solar company, instead of buying out of pocket up front.
