The market cap is around $70,000 right now. Not bad for a 3 week old coin. I think once people notice us on Coinmarketcap, Coinwarz, and Coinchoose more often, they will realize there is a new king in town
We overthrew the last king back in 1776. Is this Revolution 2.0?
All the other coins on paysha for launch have quite a higher market cap. Which leads me to believe bens will rise up quite impressively as well. With 2million+- units circulating, I think less than .50 a ben is very unlikely. with a distinct possibility for 1-2$+ Direct ben to merchant service will make it possible for ben to be valuable without the need to change it into bitcoin for that value to manifest. With such a smaller relative transaction fee it will be desirable for many merchants to consider. If all of that bears out, then bens value will shoot up. That is what makes us most excited to be included

Hi folks,
Does anyone know why my desktop client for Benjamins coins won't update? I've been mining for a day now on the Pity The Pool! pool and although I am mining coins successfully, the QT client says 'no block source available' and that it's 3 weeks behind. Thanks.
Use the list of addnodes In Roaming/Benjamins (if you can't find this, search for %appdata% in start menu), make a .conf file called benjamins.conf and put this in: rpcuser=x rpcpassword=pass rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=8080 server=1 gen=0
addnode=162.243.225.132 addnode=79.30.41.82 addnode=79.35.184.193 addnode=178.210.43.53 addnode=37.4.59.204 addnode=188.162.40.145 addnode=67.233.202.8 addnode=66.186.168.160 addnode=70.169.118.178 addnode=216.145.101.106 addnode=123.211.105.43 addnode=50.42.35.91 addnode=46.118.221.232 addnode=124.169.133.2 addnode=86.5.174.41 addnode=151.50.110.59 addnode=184.75.214.210 Then make a .bat in the same folder with your QT and in the .bat type this: Then run the .bat to launch the QT (or you can put -server in the QT itself's parameters) Hope this helps

Missed a paragraph earlier To be clear, Paysha is not an online wallet. We will not hold funds; we simply connect buyers and sellers, process the payment, verify it was a legitimate purchase, and forward it directly to the seller. This ensures that Paysha will not even have the chance to lose anyone's coins. This also makes sure that merchants don't have to worry about charge backs, because our system will verify the payment, and only notify the merchant when the money is on its way to them

Got a few answers for you We have not yet begun searching for merchants, but that will happen at the same time the site goes live. We don't want to make promises that aren't under our complete control in case they change their minds before we go live. We also have not set a launch date, yet. When it's done, it's done, pretty much. Sucks, I know, but we need to be sure
Vendors will have the option to accept 1, 2, 3, or 4 coins; that will be their decision. We will have support in place to assist those not familiar with virtual currencies, and we look forward to introducing new people to the scene, as well as promoting those already involved.
Prices will be calculated on our site. The merchants just put the dollar amount they want for their item or service, and the Paysha API will do the calculations for them in real time. Prices will most likely use Cryptsy since their API is the most stable for all 4 coins
There are a few unique things about Paysha that differ from other sites. First of all, there is NO MONTHLY FEE at all. There are no hidden fees whatsoever. If you aren't making sales, you don't have to pay a penny to use our site or services. We will be applying a flat 1% fee for all sales at launch, which may or may not change in the future. Our aim is to be competitive with other virtual currencies gateways while still beating both Visa and Mastercard with lower transaction fees to vendors (they typically charge between 1.8% and 4%, depending on volume)
The other selling point of Paysha is to get the community more involved. We would like to offer a finder's fee of sorts to anyone who gets a new merchant to sign up with their code. These will be free to anyone and everyone is invited to participate. Right now, we are thinking .01 BTC to the finder when their vendor processes their first $1000 of sales. Basically we are giving the finder the transaction fees for their first $1000 of transactions. Not only will this help US get more vendors and merchants signed up, but it will allow the community to be involved on the ground floor, as well as give them the ability to seek out merchants where THEY want to use virtual currencies, rather than those we think you want to use. All of this is, of course, subject to change, but that is our plan at the moment
If there are any other questions, feel free to forward them

Paysha is making good progress, I hear, as well, so expect some merchants to be accepting Benjamins very soon!
I am stocking up now while it's cheap so I can buy a bunch of stuff later!
I am waiting til after paysha to move any of mine (other than bouncing them up and down a little in the market to increase the number ofc) I am very curious to know what sort of merchants are onboard for the launch, if any and if paysha is going to facilitate, specifically, merchants to be able to take 1 coin, or all 4 coins or what (and how they will calculate exchange rates etc, or if merchants will handle that end?) It would be especially interesting if any decently priced mining equipment vendors are onboard at the launch. It seems from the trends in cryptsy that the "intro price sell then watch it fall fall fall" of SO many coins has not occurred. Nice steady upswing, and if the hashrate and difficulty go up I am very excited. Let me see if I can hunt one of them down

So that means i get 90 % less So surely that means coins are worth X 90 % more Is this right
That's for the free market to decide, my friend Well if it carries on the same way it has been going on I would predict in top 30 of coinmarketcap That my friend is good ... I just do not understand all the difficulty side of things I know where to point my miner and that is a struggle, Will my miner ever get more coins? or when the difficulty goes up coins go down. The difficulty will fluctuate up and down. The reason is to try and keep blocks at the target time (64 seconds). If there is less hashpower on the network, it needs an easier problem to solve, so difficulty goes down When hashrate goes up, the blocks start getting found much faster so they need to get harder to solve Getting added to Cryptsy last night has us sitting at a stable 50+ Terahash network right now. If the network hashpower stays the same, the next difficulty adjustment in a day or two will be fairly close to what we are currently at
