The two options: adding merged mining, or changing the block time, are two things I can't do. Still trying to find someone that will help. I've even offered bounties in BEN or BTC If we can be merge mined, we can jump on any of the SHA pools that will add it. It's free BEN to anyone mining the standard coin. Or there is Fusion, which is set up as a second chain. So if anyone knows how to set up a pool, you can set it to mine Benjamins, and mine Fusion at the same time, like DIEM just did here: http://fusioncoin.org/pools/DIEM/publicNot sure who set their pool up, but if BEN gets merge mining added to it, we can be added to any pool that merge mines any SHA coins It's not hard for someone who knows how to do it, I just don't know how

Trying to find someone confident (and trustworthy) enough to help with the fork. The goal is the original parameters, merged mining is going by the wayside like you guys wanted. I can easily change the numbers to get 64 second blocks and retargeting once an hour, but changing those two numbers in a fork is giving me problems. I can change anything else easily, but those two...I must be doing it wrong I haven't given up, just trying to find someone trustworthy and reliable to help me out. If there was any other problem with the coin, I could fix it, but for some reason the block target time and retargeting are a pain in the ass. I could fork it right now with an update, but if you didn't update immediately, you would be on the old fork. The problem I'm having is setting a specific block to change them at. Changing them is easy, but getting it to do it at a certain block (or unix time) is giving me issues

No takers, yet, but I'm still looking
NP, mining happily here. It is an interesting time. Merge mining versus diff adjustments will bring what benefits? Merge mining brings more miners, but thereby waters down the competition for miners themselves? So I am guessing that for a coin to be included in merged mining schema means something akin to coins forming up "coinfederations", LOL? So let's chart the coinfederations that are forming eh? BTC >< LTC would be the biggest I guess. But that's an unfriendly coinfederation. at least in terms of the bankrolls of the top dogs. And I do mean dogs, because what this whole sector needs is integrity like what Benjamin Franklin would bring. Integrity is what has true value these days. But what does it mean to have integrity? I am sure Ben F. could tell us were he here. Frugality, savings, long term thinking, sharing of information with allies, etc. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Merged_mining_specificationYou can merge mine all SHA coins that are set up to be auxillary chains at once Paysha also said they would launch a pool for all 4 coins on their site if someone gets BEN set up for it

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [BOUNTY] We need HELP adding merged mining to Benjamins
|

Here's the deal. We need to add merged mining to Benjamins. I know it will be a hard fork, which is the reason we are looking for outside help from someone smarter than us. From what we understand, it's not too hard to add merged mining. The only reason we are outsourcing it is due to the many pools and exchanges that need to update. We need it done right the first time and I'm just not confident enough with merged mining procedure to implement it myself Benjamins is going on Paysha.com when they launch and we would like to ensure safe transactions with a secure network via merged mining. We have pools ready to update We are offering a 10,000 BEN Bounty (little more than .25 BTC at today's super low price), but you must have both experience and a good reputation for not being shady. If you have no idea what BEN is, I'll quote the OP below Thanks for taking a minute to read this and I really hope we can find someone reliable and trustworthy to help us out here OP BELOW THIS LINE What is a Benjamin? The United States one hundred-dollar bill ($100) is a denomination of United States currency featuring statesman, inventor, and diplomat Benjamin Franklin on the obverse of the bill. On the reverse of the banknote is an image of Independence Hall. The $100 bill is the largest denomination that has been printed since 1969, when the denominations of $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 were retired
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing says the average life of a $100 bill in circulation is 90 months (7.5 years) before it is replaced due to wear and tear. The bills are also commonly referred to as "Benjamins", in reference to the use of Benjamin Franklin's portrait on the denomination, or "C-Notes", based on the Roman numeral for 100. The bill is one of two denominations printed today that does not feature a President of the United States; the other is the $10 bill, featuring Alexander Hamilton. The time on the clock of Independence Hall on the reverse, according to the U.S. Bureau of Engraving and Printing, shows approximately 4:10 on the older contemporary notes and 10:30 on the series 2009A notes in 2013
On April 24, 2013, the Federal Reserve announced the new $100 bill would enter circulation on October 8, 2013. The new bill will cost 12.6 cents to produce and have a blue ribbon woven into the center of the currency with "100" and Liberty Bells, alternating, that appear when the bill is tilted
According to the Federal Reserve, more than two thirds of all $100 notes circulate outside of the United States, making it the most popular banknote Paper Wallets now available at http://www.BenjaminsBaby.com/paperwallet.html Official Website NOW LIVE: BenjaminsBaby.com Coin Specs SHA Based 10 Minute blocks 100 Coins per block Max BENs: 12,800,000 Halves at 64,000 blocks No Premine and 0 Instamine Binaries and Source provided

These members are located in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia, so most global timezones will be covered as far as support team being available for assistance. 8 blocks at normal (100 BEN) rewards were mined to sync up the nodes and the pool for launch
The Benjamins Merchant Services division is providing users, traders, and merchants alike with the option to easily integrate and customize our system into an already existing business or website. We will also provide live support to assist you or your business in the transition to the newest technology available for financial transactions. Let us bridge the gap between virtual currencies and those that don't know, yet. Benjamins have arrived. And they're here to stay
The Benjamins team has made it easier than ever to accept virtual currencies as payment. Instead of tracking down a programmer to integrate payments, you can just sign up with us and let our code do the work for you! Easily customizable buttons are available to fit your business and website style with only a few clicks! You can be accepting Benjamins TODAY. The Merchant Services will be launched when BEN has hit an exchange or two and a market price has been set
Benjamin himself will also provide an official mining pool within 48 hours of launch, as well as an ABE based Block Explorer for easy transaction tracking, both coming up at the same time. The reason we are launching with no pool is to prevent forks an get the block chain spread across multiple nodes rather than everyone putting their hashes into one place and screwing over solo miners. If anyone else wants to set up a pool before that, we have no problems with that at all and will include your link in this post
Live support is available to answer any questions you may have about Benjamins, or just virtual currencies in general. Not only will we provide these services to you, but we will also work with you to help get you the exposure you desire in the crypto currency community. Accept virtual currencies and take advantage of the newest technology available. We will provide the same service that CoinPayments provides, but specifically coded for Benjamins designed to coordinate with both the coin and website that will be launched in the next 48 hours with the pool, explorer, paper wallets, and other very useful services provided by the Benjamins development team
