221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: October 09, 2017, 05:53:43 PM
I'm so pleased I was right. I was saying for weeks on the slack that the Monetha vouchers are worthless and that the team would take your money and not be bothered about vouchers bag  holders.

The tokens you have bought are really worthless! They will be used as vouchers once it's all made in a few years! You have all been conned and left holding the baby! If you took your time to read the small print you would have seen it coming. Take this as a lesson learn guys.
you mean to say that the monetha contributors are in loss now
there is no way for profit for monetha holders and all of their eth spent in ICO of monetha is just gone means loss
i already buy some amount from etherdelta and hold it. for just incase
but after reading this thread i think its not going at the right way

They needed the funds to develop the payment system they are planning and probably will develop , I'm not saying they won't do that. But what you have been given, these Monetha tokens are useless as they will just act as vouchers once the payment system is up and running! You haven't bought shares or a % of the company. They wanted your cash and in exchange have given you coupons for their project once it's up and running. Monetha vouchers/tokens are not needed for the future of the project. The team don't need them for it to be successful. You don't have to own Monetha vouchers/tokens to use the platform.
So ask yourself, why would anyone want to own them?

Example -
For Bitbay marketplace you need to own Bitbay
For Edgeless casino you need to own Edgeless Tokens
For Monetha you don't need Monetha. So how is it going to be worth anything

medium term (a few months) = Blocknet
long term ( 6months-12months)  = Bitbay
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: September 06, 2017, 10:05:50 PM
I find it funny that Particl is 4.5x the marketcap of BitBay, but they tried to reverse BAY's tech and failed. Why invest $ into the $90mil cap coin when they failed to reverse code the $20mil cap coin's code...? Makes absolutely no sense

Cryptos don't make sense (look at the top20... Hcash... others...)
But that's the way it is.

Since June,we see the beginning of an early-mass-adoption movement (who here doesn't know someone who entered the market recently, or thinks about it ?).
It changes the game: Technology is not the only parameter in the valuation equation: Teams are scrutinized, marketing has a huge impact etc...
Crytpomarkets evolved: projects must adapt or die.

That said... Bitbay is a great tech. Maybe it just needs a bit of PR, and starting from the community is not a bad thing.

What if, WE, the hodlers, start promoting the coin again ?
Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, BitcoinTalk signature etc...

I think we need :

1- 2 officials statements about Bitbay: why is it so good? what is the end user value propostion?
-->  it can be done by an expert member here and validated by the devs.
We need 2 statments: 1 statement will be technical, and one for the average joe (simple).
We'll use these as a baseline to write the social media tweets and so.

2a- a short term roadmap for "news" and teasing (don't tease without news...):
Next releases
2b- curators for news and articles. Writers on Medium and Steemit for instance, and their links to resteem and upvote.

3- A structured and synchronized communication:
--> Same Tweets, same Hashtag (#BAY... why not something else like #NextBigCrypto)
--> Same linkedin post for all with hashtag (someone writes one and we copy paste)
--> etc etc..

We probably need a specific topic here or a slack channel to coordinate "off-the line"

Who is in ?
It's time to lift BAY up :-)

this is happening right now, the community do all this and have writers. You are welcome to join in also. join the slack group to ask what needs attention

229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Theymos's list of altcoins with some technical merit on: August 21, 2017, 01:10:37 PM
Cointelegraph, coindesk etc need to stop spread ICO vapourware panic & news and tell people about unique development that has been 3-4 years in the making. These are the altcoins that should get recognition and awareness! Invest in the tech! Not an idea!  For that reason I own Bitbay & from looking at the list now Blocknet
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: August 20, 2017, 01:35:52 AM
Bitbay a good name of Coín
So we must wait for the price risingggg
i ll Pray for it xD

yes 100% It will dont worry. The tech speaks for itself. Please are all been fooled currently by ICO's where the creators of the ICO end up owning 90% of the token.
The time will come when people realize that these vapourware tokens/coins have nothing to bring to the table

You'll need it if you're the sole dev and are wasting time on here getting defensive.  Go to a local college and recruit someone.

Bitbays developer team (2) is as large as Syscoins, Particl and Qtum just to name 3. I bet Doge dont have more than 2 guys also (if any)

David works on the market and has created more on his own in 3 years than what openBizzar have with a team of 15 and a budget of $20m.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Blocknet] truly decentralized exchange | token ecosystem infrastructure on: August 04, 2017, 12:39:43 PM
I am waiting for the roadmap to be shared with us. Since morning I have checked the OP many times to not miss what is being revealed. I was having discussions with some friends so all eyes are there because hype is real this time. I am hanging around most of the time today to be among first being in Blocknet's for months. It is big moment to see updated and revised roadmap.

you need to join the slack group
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (QTUM) - A Scalable PoS Smart Contract Platform - TestNet Live! on: July 21, 2017, 12:34:59 PM
QTUM  founded by a conman. He founded Bitbay and left with all the ICO funds. Then used Bitbays ICO funds to create QTUM and then buy their own ICO.

Do your research on the founder Steven/Patrick

This is not trolling its the truth

237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $CRAVE Coin. Cheapest Masternodes out there. on: July 14, 2017, 11:52:49 AM

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TEZOS raised 231 Million on: July 13, 2017, 11:45:34 AM
whos going to buy this in the first few weeks its on the exchanges? if people wanted it they would have invested in the ICO
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Alphabay can be the reason for massive altcoin dump atm? on: July 12, 2017, 11:58:00 AM
Just highlights why Bitbay is the future with their double deposit escrow, which works! (not vapourware)

I'm shocked that double deposit isn't the industry standard. Its stocking that the news never even mentions BitHalo and says "smart contracts can't be done on Bitcoin".

anyone who uses Darknet and trusts 3rd party escrow gets what they deserve. Bitbay have been preaching two party escrow for year!

Over half of all Bitcoins have been stolen by exchanges or escrow. But people still store their money online. How long will it be before they realize double deposit should be the DEFAULT.

Sheep Marketplace had a similar fate 100 million dollar theft. But the consumers line up to be screwed again. Mt Gox did it and eventually Poloniex will do it.

When will the world learn? Bitbay's Double Deposit Escrow is the future
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why All Coins Dump? on: July 11, 2017, 11:34:13 AM
