301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming ICOs you're watching on: September 23, 2017, 09:30:26 AM
ICOs are not a good investment idea now, the teams are becoming greedy and people are becoming wiser
But that was better rather than put our money in the scam onion. A lot of the people that invested in the pre or ico such as zero protocol got decent profit due to the hype. But that was much better than buy scam onion with a lot of the pre mine token goes to the dev's wallet.  Roll Eyes
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CHINA UPDATE: The news China doesn't want you to know. on: September 23, 2017, 09:28:38 AM

Thanks for this. I also think that regulating ICO is good for all because it gives confidence to all investors specially for those new to crypto currency.

However i am not sure if CHINA will ban mining and exchanges from their country. you can still buy BTC in china thru OTC.

what can we do now is patiently wait for china government actions.

here's another FUD. CHINA will block all VPN by 2018
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/jul/11/china-moves-to-block-internet-vpns-from-2018
will this affect CHINA miners?

From what? that didn't affect the china miners. You think the only tool to pass the banned ip or similar with it just through the VPN? That doesn't make sense at all. I understand how people are feeling worried due to the FUD to the miners in china. But that was senseless. Venezuela should be a good example how the people still mining it although they should be arrested if got caught  by the police.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will RPX ICO be successful despite of CHINA FUD ? on: September 23, 2017, 09:25:53 AM
I would like to know your insights for NEO first ICO RPX (Red Pulse)

Will it survive despite CHINA Government action against crypto currency?

ICO regulation / ban
crypto exchange ban
Upcoming china Great Firewall blocks all VPN by 2018

Red Pulse target customers is from mainland china
https://bitcoinexchangeguide.com/red-pulse-token/
All VPN? is that a joke? that will be never happening. There are so many tools that similar to the vpn and about socks 5 will become the useful in the future. Redpulse aiming to encourage the western investors and not think about the chinese investors again. They already moved its direction.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which new will add Ico in Bittrex??? on: September 23, 2017, 09:24:21 AM
MobileGO is long overdue for listing. Bittrex updated their infrastructure to support ERC23 tokens. It seems they haven't implemented MGO due to regulation issues. It's unsure whether or not they will be adding many coins in the near future.
It was not caused by the regulation issue, but bittrex will never trying to upgrade their service and the erc23 will never become compatible to the bittrex, Bittrex just try to add the coin that already supported in the system only. That was the main reason about mobile go got delisted from there.
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin under 3000$?? on: September 14, 2017, 11:43:57 AM
Bitcoin is falling again. I think the reason is China banned the ico's.
Currently the price is 3800-3900$. Will it go under 3000$? what do you think?
Jamie is the reason for this price crash with he's random statement regarding the bitcoin and that gives a lot of impact to the bitcoin again. You can see the latest chart how a lot of people are trying to sold their coin right now.
306  Economy / Speculation / Re: End of bubble, recovery impossible. on: September 14, 2017, 11:42:27 AM
I'm pretty new in this forum but I know that kwukduck is only spreading fear. look at his post history and ignore him.
It was not, and that seems the fact that the price of bitcoin already decreased into the bottom, to hold the bitcoin take a lot of the risk in this time. The price already falled around 3590 which it can be determined as the real reason for this thread.
307  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: September 14, 2017, 04:53:48 AM
for example if we use the dollar it will certainly be bad news to see the habits of the corruptors in Indonesia, they will never do small corruption. What if they later corrupted $ 50 million or even $ 1 billion. Countries will be dizzy to tackle such corruption cases. that is if we use only one currency, for example the dollar currency
Currency is just a agreement made by the government that it will pay equivalent value if asked in gold, and also I don't think that everyone will trade their currency entirely just for the currency of another country even the US too, so this can't happen in real life and it's hard to achieve than just talking about it.
Why a lot of US high profiles are interested with the gold rather than fiat money? They are know about the truth of gold. If many people try to read about the historical of gold and the fiat will be useless,
That was just like a manipulation by the goverment and try to exchange the fiat that was printing anytimw with the gold.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: dropping value on: September 14, 2017, 04:36:48 AM
If you convert your bitcoin now, you will lost your money and then you will regret it when the price go up, just hold on to your coin and dont be panic, wait for a few weeks then the price will go up again, and this situation is normal and there are so many times that bitcoin experienced this situation and in the end bitcoin still the strongest crypto currency
But what will happen if the price of bitcoin will be plunged again? I sure a lot of people will be more panic and try to sold all of their coin as fast as possible before others has done it.
In some reasons this is not a normal correction.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy ETH now? on: September 13, 2017, 01:21:17 PM
Metropolis coming out soon so might be a good buy now.

This is what I am talking about, that this new upgrade - Ethereum Metropolis will be another milestone for Ethereum platform. I hope it will make Ethereum prices to another high. So, Yes it still good to buy Eth now.

I want it when a platform continue to innovate and improve to cater the needs of its supporters, investors and holders.

I'm not interested with the metropolis update because that was giving the decrease to the miner's reward. But i just wanna see the price of ethereum to explode in the future regarding less in the supply due to the pos transition.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP!! Token burning? on: September 13, 2017, 11:10:23 AM
what do you mean by token burning? are these the token that are wasted? what do they do with this? if this topic has a similar thread. kindly link it please.
The token burning mean those useless token will be sent to the unknown address which there is no person already had the key to open such address and if the project wants to migrate into another project and they should replace the supply with the new amount.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Ethereum without any investment?? on: September 13, 2017, 11:09:05 AM
How to earn Ethereum from scratch without any capital? Is there any highest paying faucet available? or any other way to earn Ethereum??
You can try faucet, signature campaign or even just use your skill and find any job in this place, i mean a lot of project are looking for the signatrue designer as an example and you can try to join to create your own design and you will get a payment for that.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anonymous ICOs? on: September 13, 2017, 11:07:55 AM
Are there any tools that enable the ICO investor to invest in alt coins in an anonymous way?

That would be great for US or chinese investors...

I am sure by the smart usage of VPN services and coin mixers, this might actually be possible.

The whole nature of crypto currencies are at least partly to overcome burdens and restrictions and I believe that the ban of ICO is something to which the market will react in a way that we will find a way that enables investors to participate in an ICO if they want to do so.

Restrictions and regulations do not work for 100% in my opinion. The market always find a way and where there is a need there will be supply.

What do you think?
What about VPN, Proxy or even socks 5, But i believe a lot of people from the us and chinese already used that way to pass the way to invest in those icos. But there is no other way again if the ico will have used the kyc verification to avoid both of investors.
313  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looking for Advice on Making an Investment on: September 13, 2017, 10:40:53 AM
Hello everyone!

One of my friends has just entered the crypto world and wants to invest. He is able to arrange 2000 USD in the last week of October and he is seeking an advice on where to put that money. I am tempted to advise him to put 50% in BTC and 50% in ETH. However I would like a second opinion on same. Any recommendations?

(Just so that everyone knows, my/your role here is to only show him potential good coins. The final decision to do his own R&D and making final choices is his own liability and me/you nowhere to be blamed. Think of it as an introduction for a newbie.)

PS: Edited for clarity.
Catch the dip and you must not feel worry about that, because if the price will be back and your investment already got decent profit. But both are good coins, it depends on your froend's decision.
Think the ethereum will have some updates in the future.
314  Economy / Speculation / Re: Feeling good about the dip / down on: September 13, 2017, 10:39:09 AM
dunno about you but i dont like losing money..
If you dont like on losing money or going down investments then bitcoin isnt really for you because we all know here that prices do really dips and price corrections do really happen. If its parabolic as being said recovery might really be seen soon and would takes time to recover but instead of worrying better to see this as an golden opportunity to buy more cheaper coins and be ready on the new ATH later on.Patience is a must on this kind of investment.
But i don't know why it seems the chart will be so difficult to rebound, as far as i know a lot of sides are attacking the bitcoin and all of the crypto anytime in this moment, I should believe about the big dip will be happened as soon as possible.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 10 Years, Bitcoin in 2027! on: September 13, 2017, 05:06:52 AM
Honestly, there is no way to say for sure what the price will be in 2027. Bitcoin regulations, bans, and legalization will play a HUGE role in terms of bitcoin's price in the future. Depending how these factors play out in the future, bitcoin can be as low as $5000 and it can be as high as probably $100,000-$500,000(quite a stretch, but who knows?).

As we all know that it 2012 bitcoin's value is around 2 digits in price of dollars then now it is more than $4,000 it almost multiply by 285 times in just a span of 5 years then take not that bitcoin is not yet in 10 years of its existence so how much more if the year 2027 comes, I can't really imagine how much will cost of a single bitcoin to that year.
Not because it multiplied that much in the past it doesn't mean it will again in the future though. Just sayin.
Well as we see its valye now,its getting too hard for btc to increase in value but possibilities that btc can still increase anytime soon as what it did before,as long as no banning from big countries occur.
2027 mean we will be facing the two phase of the halving and i think the price of bitcoin will ever goes 3x in my opinion regarding the fact and the result about the previous halving that catch up the price of bitcoin.
almost $15000 in 10 years later.
316  Economy / Speculation / Re: China banned bitcoin: 2013 VS 2017. market maturity? on: September 13, 2017, 05:03:44 AM
Stability has been increasing, definitely.

Not unexpected really as there are a lot more legit users of bitcoin now. Bitcoin is much more than just a token that speculators hold to attempt to gain a profit or whatnot. People actually use it for buying stuff globally, and this brings stability.

Even though there was a panic dump it was much a much smaller drop. A lot of bitcoiners especially outside of China seem to think that they will hold BTC regardless of the outcome, as the ban does not affect them.

I think the stability has been going up too. I was almost certain that bitcoin would suffer a stronger drop with the news of China banning news. However, the price rebounded even after the rumors were "confirmed" through articles. Is there any real explanation for this?
The markets are more matured compared with 2013. I find another interesting thread like this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2161216.40
A lot of the people from the US financial institution are trying to FUD to the crypto, they are worried about the capability of crypto to growth without the goverment.
Or this time they are realize us as a threat.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH smartcontract for new ICO or not? on: September 12, 2017, 11:10:54 AM

I am interested in some feedback how you guys see the ETH smartcontract hype and also other platforms offering similar services for new icos.

What are alternative ways to hold an ico without smartcontracts and participating in ETH & Co?

THX!
You must try to take a look on some project that not based in the smartcontract such as lisk and waves and that gives complete explanation. You can try to use the wallet just to receive the funding in the ethereum form.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs will start using Counterparty or NXT now. Any others? on: September 12, 2017, 11:04:00 AM
I speculate that the ICOs will start using Counterparty or NXT because they have decentralized exchanges built in. The tokens that are issued cannot be delisted and the exchange itself is decentralized, so no bans are possible.

Besides Counterparty and NXT, what are the other platforms that have a decentralized exchange?

Nope. I far as i know there is some projects that already gained a momentum through use NXT or counterparty but it seems to be a difficult case for those users and i ve experienced with that.
Waves also decentralized exchange even etherdelta too.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any ICOs that can be bought directly with BTC? on: September 12, 2017, 11:03:52 AM
Hello, everyone!

I am looking for some diversifying investments and I wanted to look for upcoming ICOs that have a fixed price and that can be directly bought with BTC on exchanges or if there are other ways? I simply want to avoid the BTC>ETH switch every time.
You can try to visit the ico schedule and that will provide you all of the list about the upcoming ico. And you can try to choose which is better to be your portfolio but i suggest you to buy kick ico or bitclave.
Both of project has a good team.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asking youre income on: September 12, 2017, 10:54:31 AM
How much bitcoin you got per mount ? Huh Huh
Bitcoin as the side income and it can't be determined with the exact amount, but result will be ramdom it caused by the crypto trend can change everytime, some times the trend will be so bullish and in other side that can turn into the bearish trend.
