This is the fact that projects are taking too long to complete the development. This in turn lower the confidence in the projects.
Off course we can wait so long, unless we get timely updates on developments of the projects. Missing or decreasing the communication, can be a sense of scam project.

The main thing is that not all telegram members use bitcointalk forum. Also same with the other social media platforms. It's easier for projects to announce their updates via telegram message.
But I observed that many project use medium article for announcements. Following medium, always keep us updated about the project activities.

Yes, I also experienced the benefit of staking via project called velic. Daily we use to receive some % amount of profit share.
I think is good for users as well as projects as it keeps token supply limited and increases demand.

Recently I came across one project which started ICO and later as part of phase 2, held IEO.
I am wondering how the total fund raising mechanism was managed by these both systems.

I also experienced the same with one of the project(XPL- short name), where after doing bounty tasks at the time of distribution, admins said that bounty hunter need to pay 0.001 ETH to receive bounty rewards as to minimize the gas fee. Admin also offered me free(which are of no use now) XPL tokens to swap my other alt coins, but I immediately sense the scam and did not sent him ETH.
We should refrain from participating such projects and continue with new good ones.

From my point of view, we will not see any major increase or decrease in the market until mid of 2020. At the moment market is stable, quite flat and seems need some sort of driver/booster to move it upwards.
I am expecting some major uptrend in May 2020 due to bitcoin halving reward.

You are absolutely right. This is the exceptional case. In fact today's projects are more shiny than its original presence. Its really hard to judge the projects based on the presentations they give to us. I think we should focus on idea, team structure and development part of project.

I have participated in cloud mining recently but not through my own pc but with other third party servers. This costs some fee but still its profitable.
Thanks for highlighting this issue. I am not aware about what kind of precautions we should take while mining.

I always believe in holding and long term investment. This is the way we can sit tension free not watching market moves everyday and over a period of time when receives good return can sell.
But here in the cryptocurrency environment, I am not much confident about altcoins because don't know what will be the future of it.

If someone is providing you any service, they have to charge you for that to get some(?) profit out of it.
However I have observed that buying crypto with credit card is too much costly.

I think it's not IEO or ICO which decides the profit. These are the only means of raising funds.
But sure, with IEOs there are less chances to get scammed and with the IEO holding exchange we can have some more confidence on the project.

Scalability represents the capability and compatibility of the dApp, which will be residing in that blockchchain.
If the platform is not compatible to our software, why should we chose that platform?
I think, while checking the criteria to build any dApp on any particular blockchchain, scalability is the first factor to be considered. Next we can think about transparency and security.

Responsibility of failure goes to the project itself and to bounty manager.
Bounty hunters bring the investors to the project to invest
 But due to some reasons, he/she not feel confident about it, will not invest.
Another reason could be that bounty manager did not align the Campaigns with the project need. So not enough investors turn around.

Truly speaking, I did choose my last exchnange only because the token or coin which I had, was listed only on this exchange.
So I did not have a choice to select from different exchanges.

You have made a very good point. If we hold the Alts for long term and does not look for it's updates, there are chances that project is not moving  or dead.
I have observed another situation of token swaps. If we don't pay attention to the updates, there are chances that your Alts gets swapped with other platform and thus your tokens and Investment can become obsolete.

In the times when projects were struggling with raising necessary funds through ICOs, IEOs ensures guarenty the funds collections as expected, because of the userbase of that exchange. It's win-win-win situation for investors, projects and exchanges where it's planned to hold the IEO.

IEOs ensures listing of the coin on exchanges. Also the exchange which is holding the IEO, in case its renowned exchanges, increase the confidence of investors into the project. I think this is the new criteria people should add into their checklist before investing , to check the exchanges which is holding that IEO.
