^  Dunno about that.  Volume and liquidity matters a whole lot.  And source of price where all exchanges base their own is from the market where there’s a whole lot of volume and liqudity.  Even if Atomic swaps try to dictate the ‘real price’ of XMR, it will be arb’d enough to be priced the same as the market.

Yeah but if monero becomes the bitcoin privacy layer skys the limit?

Does anyone , the WO experts  Smiley,  have any free custom built indicator for support & resistance so that we don't have to manually find Support & resistance all the time  ?

Atomic swaps friend. The end of exchange manipulation.

4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: July 15, 2021, 06:59:04 PM

Still a way to go before breaking support. Expecting a tail down but it wont breach. hopefully.

Requesting - 225. $42,209.33 - $43,053.51
You need to predict a number, not a range. Also, I don't think posting just a graph qualifies for El duderino_'s request (see above). Please explain how you got to this prediction, and if you edit your post, make sure I don't overlook it (by sending me a PM).

Requesting - 225. $42,209.33 - $43,053.51

Predicting the price at $43000.00

The chart shows how I feel the market will move using forecast ma lines and support resistance.

Thanks for letting me know

Globb0

Its win win, unless the btc chain leaks any information to the detriment of the xmr layer.

Just common sense they will have covered this as its our implementation  no theirs.

Good luck all.

Here is a look at a H+S that has been suggested. (red)

I offer the green version, more weight to a reversal signal somewhere here I think.

10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: June 21, 2021, 02:38:38 PM
Hello my pretties. Bit of a chart refresh for you.

Well down into the support now, This chart is a long term view at 1d candles. As it gets to the bottom of the yellow zone it can spring back where the price becomes attractive to someone.

The danger I drew on is closing under the yellow. That's a bad sign.

Oh yeah I think a lot of people are hanging on a reversal signal.  Then we might se a sudden shift. Heard stuff.

Dude, I was just thinking of you earlier!

I was remembering why I had coins on paxos and it was because I noticed binance coin had pumped (so i went on there and scrapped up what was left) and I thought oh yeah Globb0 was playing with that one, hope he still has a bag. Smiley

Haha, I'm old...I had to google what sour diesel was!

You rock sir, its an honour to be remembered.

14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: May 29, 2021, 10:54:33 AM
Nobody can predict who will win the EPL title until the winner beginning to surface after over 20 or even more matches have already being played by each clubs.

I agree with this so much. Because we have seen Manchester City's insane comeback after many weeks in the league. They started really bad and I wasn't thinking that they would be able to end in even top 4. But here we are, they are the champions!  Cheesy  Hence, I won't bet on any team now and I will wait for some time after the new season starts.

arent we lucky.

Look at other leagues with the same winners over and over.

Right now everything in bitcoin is friction.  The base layer is high friction because of fees.  Lightning is high friction because it's still beta, and the front ends are not great.  Liquid has friction because it is not used much yet.  Bisq is a great idea, but high friction.  just about NONE of this stuff is ready for prime time.

Thats an interesting observation. Why didnt crypto quite complete into something easy.

Even bitcoin still a mystery to most.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 21, 2021, 05:20:36 PM
Any chance of XMR to catch up with ETH (in terms of price) this year? ETH have the smart contracts, but XMR have the privacy. It should be on top 10.
...

XMR is right now in position 22 in coinmarket cap, and it will be kind of hard to see in in the top 10 because its application is more complex than other altcoins.

The complexity of the monero core brings anonymity to the users but at the same time is hard to develop APPs with monero. Isn't like the other coins where you can make easy RPC calls to create sign and push the transactions. The point is, if we have developed something with Bitcoin RPC we can rise that knowledge to build something with LTC or DOGE, but not with monero.

And the anonymous fact is cool, but do people really want to hide their identity? Only the bad guys need that.

There was already a project to develop easier API's
