OK this should be done

Just won a bit of money on grand tour for a warm up.

The target of this sat starts in about 10 minutes

Its a $16.50 knockout tourney.

Lets go!

522  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 22, 2020, 09:00:39 AM
You guys are awesome.

I will make a post soon with a schedule and so on.

The gist of it will be go live 1 hour early.

Some fun, some competitions draw the lottery and a preamble to the games, hope I can use some of the awesome graphics too.

Shame the series is over so soon is the general feeling Im getting from people.

PS I have a $109 ticket for this weekend too. so may do a big Friday or Saturday stream of that, still need the money. Smiley what time do all the pros go to sleep? I need to just meet old grannies  Cheesy

523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Worthwhile freerolls and low stakes high prize and fun games on: October 21, 2020, 10:26:25 AM
Thanks for joining us yesterday Arallmus, shame on results but no worries.

Today I just got another $109 ticket, the benefit being this isn't tied down to a specific game on Sunday clashing with ours.

So Ill look for a good game and time, perfect storm, need to find something with returns! Will be live OFC.

Last night we had our first "known" potential stream sniper.

Someone who found the stream by searching the tournament they were ins name.

They didn't have to tell me, so that was nice and they followed us.  Smiley

Also it means we are really out there to be found. Butterflies moment its real.

Anyway the 0 delay is infinitely better at the moment when we are few, so I will need to work out a way forward.

I have an idea for a bit of a halfway house, but its lots more work so watch this space.

Be on the hunt soon for some satellites and into bigger games. Good for sharpening up.

Thanks for following my adventure bro et al.

*edit*
on it again today testing my zoom theory that you can get more hands than anyone else

524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Worthwhile freerolls and low stakes high prize and fun games on: October 20, 2020, 09:30:51 PM

525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: October 20, 2020, 08:34:40 AM
Soooooooooooooooooooooooo

Over to the table, still some shocks but things are stabilising.

Still an intact 100% win record amoung other things.

Lets see.....

526  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 19, 2020, 10:20:01 PM
OK then thanks for that instructions.

I will propose to draw the lottery 30 mins before the start of the big games. OK?

527  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: October 19, 2020, 09:53:59 PM
That will give some time to get things sorted and publicise things.

Efi is a bit busy at the moment but we will speak soon I hope.

Lets see what we can do. I want to make it as good as I can so I wont be going anywhere.

Im also thinking of running a bigger 1 off free roll or low stakes forum game, perhaps monthly?

I also had a mind about a few prizes but that is the type of tbc stuff.

Might depend if people are prepared to chip in for or donate prizes. (ths is in the bigger game I am talking we have our structure)

And of course potential partners or sponsorship for our games (aside obv of SWC who already do us well I would like us to maintain this relationship - pokerstars that I wanted to consider using isn't accessible from some players so not doing it I suppose *shame)

Together Everyone Achieves More

Lets do this

528  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 19, 2020, 09:36:07 PM
Yes I will be up for that (with a bit of help as to the how)

Also I think why not start the stream a bit earlier maybe 1 hour before the 2 finals.

We can play some marbles, draw the lottery and run through some stats and graphics and things from Famosos Muertos

Will be awesome.

Ill be working on some more special content as usual to keep it fresh and fun.

Good luck everyone (who stole my finals place!)

Cheesy

*edit* PS I hope you got your gran signed up to my twitch Efialtis  Cheesy  *

*edit edit* I commit there will be another series and or some other single games
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker Worthwhile freerolls and low stakes high prize and fun games on: October 19, 2020, 09:20:45 PM
Do you play on ACR instead?
i do, but haven't in several months. i got screwed over by a couple server failures there and withdrew my bankroll to SwC out of frustration a while back. but i do miss ACR's guaranteed tourneys. SwC is a joke by comparison. i'm much better in large fields too.
Have you guys tried out GGPoker? There software is pretty cool.

i wish i could because there is great action there. i'm in the states---we're not allowed. Sad

ACR is as good as it gets for us. i'll probably get a roll going there again when my real life job dies down. unfortunately the fields on SwC are just too small---more like multi-table sit-and-gos than real sunday majors.

Its very pedestrian after playing lots of games with thousands of entries.

Also it seems just too easy? I sound like a big head but they are all so predictable.

530  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk Poker Nights Discussion Thread (private games for btctalk members) on: October 18, 2020, 04:02:06 PM

Efialtis,

On that still waiting to talk to you bro, I have some ideas in mind.

And now I am signed off sick for at least 2 months it is something I can take on.

And maybe more. Lets see what you thing when we can chat.
531  Economy / Gambling / Re: #4 Bitcointalk Poker Series @ SwC Poker (0.06 BTC, BIG BTC Ticket by SwC) on: October 18, 2020, 03:58:05 PM

Hey Globb0,
Do you accept btc? I checked your channel last night but Twitch charges 40% commission on 'Bits', not worthy! Also, I don't wanna tip via PayPal due to privacy reasons. If possible, add your btc address on the channel.

Sure I can do that, I actually know nothing about the bits and stuff but I suppose its a whoever wins they win type arrangement.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have added a BTC panel to the about page (address is 32mB5YJWHyo1EYX6FQqTg1FxPdJvRT9oVS)

I am just working on a couple of additions for the channel for tonight.    Cool

Thanks for the support, you guys have really helped me make the transition from nothing to something.

So appreciated.

PS get your granny to follow me on Twitch    Cheesy

Can I use some of these graphics on the stream please?

Even if they were all merged into one animation so I could play the run down in the preamble.

Thanks I love your work

Btw, worth to say that it is very nice join your broadcasts.

I would like to emphasize, repeat; Sometimes the rigidity of words escapes the true intention of what one wants to express, in that sense I want to thank you for your transmissions, for the pride that it generates in me, knowing that someone likes my digital crafts, but better that they can be useful. So in the distance of a nick but in the proximity of the Poker that has allowed me to meet a guy like you, thank you.

You are very welcome. I was wondering if you might like to get a bit involved in the channel?

Im using Gifs at the moment for my moving backgrounds.

Be fun to get a few custom things going on. Did you see my bull and bears gif? I made that one from a clip of the traditional bullrun.

Ill be there tonight, anyone who decides not to play join us in the stream  Smiley

We will have fun and a chat while we find out the final positions.

Good luck.

Thank you.

Todays free action is on SwC....

SWC Poker 20:30 UK/WET Freeroll (+500 krill) 11K prize

They also have an event on (BPC?) with lots of games to chose from for a few hundred chips plus.

*I may go for a few ticket tourneys for PokerStars in a bit for later for the stream to have a decent game or two.

And this game is always fun and cheap, definitely worth it if you are about. Nice people.

SWC Poker 01:00 UK/WET ChefCat radio Saturday shocker - 250 chips to enter and they have prizes and bounties

Hope to see you a bit later on  Smiley

540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies? on: October 16, 2020, 08:50:27 PM
I think there are loan markets on Poloniex where you can loan but under better control than lending to some random guy on the forum. Having just been reading about someone's defaulters I cant say I fancy it much.

Also places like free bitcoi.in give 4% interest annually on balances so how much can you make loaning?

Please feel free to use my signature to go there.
