Bitcoin Trust bought near 2 times total #BTC  mined during Nov 2020.

If its true wouldn't the result be a net up?

Why this surprises you when you have Fillippone's post around that told you before Grayscale is a fucking supermassive Bitcoin BlackHole?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5256529.msg55730416#msg55730416

What led you to the belief Globb0 was surprised?

Globb0 is not surprised by this news but interested in the implication for price, surely it would mean net up since some coin is sold immediately by miners and they are buying more than that so it will be gradually draining the supply?

it seemed to resonate for me most with the very old fashioned trade of snake oil salesman.

Yeah sure we can decode all ills absolutely no problem,

BUT,

We need your millions and 2 years to engineer a solution.

I personally worked for big corporates they sometimes know they cant do the work.

They don't care chancing their arm, they not spending their own money. They are applying for funding. They can get a year or 2 in and hope  to change the scope or just end the project.

(Ironically?) Not entirely unlike a lot the ico's we had for a while.

343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: December 03, 2020, 04:23:47 PM
Here is a chart for today, nobody is dead after the horrible week and thanksgiving drop.

The thing Im most interested in at the moment is what will the volume do.

It could take us either way. Still retesting and busting looks good

always look at the choice of language.

Looking at the article

"A major financial watchdog in Russia is developing a new cryptocurrency analytics tool to trace major cryptos like Bitcoin (BTC) and privacy coins"

developing = proposal

Track is not decode

Claims are far and wide with "and XMR" so I think they don't know

346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin anonymous? on: December 03, 2020, 10:41:12 AM
Do you realy think of bitcoin as anonymous?

can be easily linked to an IP address

and anyway TRANSPARENT LEDGER!

The blockchain keeps track of IP addresses? I ask this because I never heard something like that unless you are saying that a centralized exchange server is holding this data and can provide it, or leak information after a hack. If you don't use exchanges or centralized services there is no IP recorded, or is there with the use of wallets?

Not directly recorded, but at points in different processes the internet protocol is used, so consider it extra potentially linkable data. And you only need to link it once in one place thanks to the nature of bitcoins ledger.

But there are ways to make Bitcoin more private by using mixers, for example.

Here are a few interesting links on chain analysis and decoding mixers data. Add it to the above as well. See what I mean they have a lot of data.

and another one gone today from a while back and again one of my league tables. Im trying to get that info out that is the point to post it even if I was last to post.

As these seem to be down to malicious use of the report system can someone please cancel the rest? hilariousandco you said you can see more.

Is it possible for mods to see who is doing the reports?

Is there any protection against some trolls abusing the system?

Why is the forum getting so nasty? I want it to be fun place it was years back not this driving you away from the forum behavior

356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 30, 2020, 10:49:40 AM
The game between Chelsea and Tottenham was boring but in the end Mourinho achivied what he wanted to be in the top of the standings. With this kind of games though he is far from winning the title as this scheme does not always function.Arsenal losing to Wolves is something I consider as a surprise result as I thought the worst Arsenal could perform would be a draw at home.
Mourinho was playing defense game, that's make this game boring. Mourinho spur are satisfied with the draw yet it pained Chelsea. I have question how long Mourinho will go with officials throughout this season however it will end in tears. Chelsea performance won't win them the league.

My Chelsea to win the league bet is already offering me to cash out for double.

Im quite happy to see them sitting in 3rd.

Look down the bottom, there are many more sick fans than Chelsea ones.  Smiley

357  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this deleted? on: November 30, 2020, 10:16:48 AM
Im running a poker league for some members why the need to come in my own post and remove the leader table?

Also why delete the second "reserved" post? where I planned later to add divison 2.

It all seems a bit petty to me maybe "forum mods" who are just people should wind it down a bit and focus on all the crap.

Im doing no harm and adding value where I can.

Stop being silly please.
358  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Betnomi – Top Leagues Predictor – 1 BTC main prize - 2nd edition on: November 29, 2020, 11:50:03 PM
And another one is finished. This time we have a clear winner theHawk9 with 11 correct picks. That gets him a cool 200$.

This is hard will I ever see my name on the screen?

Cheesy

360  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch.tv/Globb0 new poker home game - Low buy in (usualy around $300 in prizes) on: November 29, 2020, 06:50:14 PM
It is just 1 game each week and that is the typical prize.

Though I admit I haven't really looked so much at the dollar value recently and bitcoin has risen a bit.

Join us tonight it starts in just over 3 hours.

Ill be streaming before that from twitch.tv/globb0

Welcome to come have some fun.

Its all laid out and as transparent as I can be. There is a league table I manually update each week after the game has finished.

Thanks,

Globb0
