Did Xander Shepherd quit XC and join nhz? Pizpie also?
Xander does XC's Linux releases. Pizpie does social media and a whole lot of quality networking. Nothing has changed in this regard. Nothing's new about this either. They've both always been involved in several projects. Go look up their post histories. Pizpie did this video about 2 days ago for XC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yu6W13lAZSsOne thing needs to be made clear here: XC team members are not "employees". We put a ton of resources into XC, we prioritise it, and we know that it's a special project without equal in crypto. But for almost everyone, XC has never been their only project, and neither should it be. The reality is that crypto is a fairly small community and as a result you end up helping your friends out with their projects. That's what Xander and Nick are doing. Aren't you glad they're doing it for XC too? Then how XC team members are compensated ? What you said feels like a nicer way of saying, " there are a lot of pump and dump in crypto, they are done with this one, and moving on to other ones. " |

Can someone clarify the name or the numbers please ? What is RC, What is RV ? We are still on RV 2.0 right ? We are on our way to RV 2.5 ? What we just released is Final RV 2.0 ? Sorry, it has been confusing me a lot. Maybe noobs are confused as well. BTW What is the ballpark ETA for RV 2.5 ? Thank you "RC" means "release candidate" "Rev" means "revision" We just released the final component of Rev 2, and now we're on our way to Rev 2.5. There's no specific ETA for Rev 2.5, but it's in our interest to get there ASAP. Thank you very much |

You have been accused of FUD in other threads, because where there is smoke, there is fire. Yesterday we have news that REV2 is going to be released and you show up. How convenient. This thread had been FUD-free for the longest time, and now we have a gentleman who is suffering from Dunning–Kruger effect, telling us what a weak community we have here, and our tech will have no impact. What are you basing your metrics on? A feeling? The talking rock by the river?
No KimmyF. I will not listen to him, because I know who he is, and what he is doing. He is talking about absolutes. He is making claims about consensus, that can be applied to almost all the coins, but is cherry picking. How is that a fair discussion? Nobody here knows the future, so why would I listen to an argument that is singling out XC? Its true... he claims not to support any other coin, but its obvious Monero is his baby. Enough with this guy already.

You're making unjustified assumptions here. How is that unjustified ? Have you look at Qibuck thread ? They already highlighted in OP " COLLABORATION ON A NEW REVENUE GENERATING WALLET ENHANCEMENT BETWEEN XC COIN AND QIBUCK COIN. " If this is not using XC's name to promote his own coin, What is it ? He is the co-founder of Qibuck. He clearly has a conflict of interest here. We should really consider remove him from the team. |

Is this what you call being professional? The way you speak to this community is inappropriate and disrespectful. You came out today act like you are the boss of this community and if anyone rise any questions to you, they are branded “trolls” and should stop question you immediately. I think the real question here is not whether you will tolerate us but whether we will tolerate you in this community. Please take look at his past post history and Qibuck thread and judge for yourself. He and Qiwoman clearly are the main beneficiaries of Qibuck. He is not doing this for the XC community. He is doing this for himself. I would not be surprised this “collaboration” is his idea and he use his “XC team member” relationship to push it on Dan. Hi all
I'd like to confirm the news just posted here.
The XC and Qibuck devs are partnering to develop a feature that'll allow nodes to earn money.
A few details:
- We will make an official announcement about this on Friday.
- It's a particularly exciting feature that I'm not sure anyone else has thought of yet.
- The reason for the partnership is that by sharing resources we reduce both development time and costs, and in this case we will not disadvantage XC's market position in any way (more info as to why will follow).
- Silverkinguk (Samuel) is part of the XC team and so if he announces something it can be trusted.
- This is not the undisclosed PR-related development that I mentioned yesterday.
P.S. I've been aware of this development, but was not aware that it would be announced now. My apologies for the confusion.
That just makes the team sound incompetent. Why are we collaborating with QiBuck? XC supposed to be the best coin out there, all tech developed supposed to be original. By collaborating with other coins, we put ourselves with those coins in the same category. Do we really want to be known to associate with QIBuck? If they fail, XC’s reputation fail with it. Do we really want to take that risk? The same thing goes with Dan reviewing other coin. If Dan gave a good review and those coins turns out to be a scam or P&D. What that will do to Dan’s reputation? There are so many scams and shit coins out there, why are we not distance ourselves from them? On top of that, that guy dropped in here announce the news before the XC team can announce it first. I love the XC team, but this is very sad. |

Then it disconnects
disconnecting node 198.199.104.70:32348
and tries next. Why ever. I never had that on a wallet.
trying connection 87.254.90.34:32348 lastseen=1.1hrs
connection timeout
trying connection 92.39.189.50:32348 lastseen=1.0hrs
It took about 15 minutes to get a connection on the new wallet but now I've got 7 connections, try these nodes: addnode=121.211.75.223 addnode=192.99.167.170 addnode=96.51.5.253 addnode=96.31.71.72 addnode=107.170.170.56 addnode=68.62.210.229 addnode=176.215.0.66 ok this may be a really noob question..... where or how do you add those ? Thanks guys please help... In the xcurrency.conf file where your wallet.dat is located. If one is not there, create one. I get a connection

That is quite a hefty premine if you ask me.
