XC has proven itself to be a legitimate currency with high standards for any tech put out publicly. I remember you were a very active member in one of the fud threads. Further you did not listen to our answer and took your own conclusions.

I do have a question - how does XChat compare to Bitmessage - does it offer better anonymity and if so how?

the question is how long will we have the dollar or the euro? if the story goes on like this we will have hyperinflation in a not that far future In these day we are replacing slowly paper by email and ebook think about it for banknote and how to secure transaction and copy of it. In using the XC platform encrypted secure and quick with anonimity or not. XC platform have many layer to use and XChat is a layer for consumers and answering at the problem of privacy behind communication. see the news about this on all newspaper each day we have drama about violation of privacy.

It's exact , XC follow this way and not the currency one even if it has a currency at disposal for this function it is in no way for replace dollar or euro or any fiat. the question is how long will we have the dollar or the euro? if the story goes on like this we will have hyperinflation in a not that far future

It's funny you ask that, because even BitMessage is asking for independent audit for their system. Do YOU know how BitMessage is really anonymous and good in any way? How do you compare one system to another when both systems are not at the audited phase yet?

How do you compare one system to another when both systems are not at the audited phase yet? Bc one is open source? There are good reasons to not go open source right away. We saw with Keycoin that in less than 24 hours, our mixing code for anonymity was copied and modified. Surely the crypto world would love to get their hands on XC's tech, and based off previous history, XChat will go open source, maybe in a month or two when we are further along with the voice and video calling. Even then the community will only get the barebone XChat with basic msging. In an ecosystem full of scam coins, this is protection for our coin, but more importantly protection for the whole crypto community.

The question is... even if it's open source, do YOU know how secure it is. BitMessage is still awaiting independent audit themselves like I said. Even if both are open source, if both have not been audited independently... you don't really know how secure it is. eg. there is nothing to quantify against each other. It's like arguing about who's lawn is greener without a spectrophotometer or... who can throw the ball faster without a calibrated radar gun. We are just not at the point to ask questions like that yet.

rdnkjdi... should I invest in PoW? So the miners, (who are the early adopters) can get rich? Which will lead to No community, no consensus = coin stagnates & dies.
-NXT vs Litecoin? Talk about cherry picking to make your argument about PoS vs PoW.
-This price stability is the result of people at the top of the food chain not selling? You correct! Why? Because they know the price is too low. Thank you Captain Obvious.
You have been accused of FUD in other threads, because where there is smoke, there is fire. Yesterday we have news that REV2 is going to be released and you show up. How convenient. This thread had been FUD-free for the longest time, and now we have a gentleman who is suffering from Dunning–Kruger effect, telling us what a weak community we have here, and our tech will have no impact. What are you basing your metrics on? A feeling? The talking rock by the river?
No KimmyF. I will not listen to him, because I know who he is, and what he is doing. He is talking about absolutes. He is making claims about consensus, that can be applied to almost all the coins, but is cherry picking. How is that a fair discussion? Nobody here knows the future, so why would I listen to an argument that is singling out XC? Its true... he claims not to support any other coin, but its obvious Monero is his baby. Enough with this guy already.
+1 This is so awesome, thanks for backing me up guys. I counted three of you, only 47 more to go until the whole community stands against rijkrstinski I lol at this. This is kind of funny. But we do have a lot of same poster here everyday. It will be great to see some new faces
