581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff son buys more bitcoin against his advise on: September 08, 2020, 03:51:36 PM

https://twitter.com/PeterSchiff/status/1303009420713111553

Peter Schiff twitted that his son buy more bitcoin against his advise. Then Peter in turn put up a poll as to who's advise someone will follow, his or his son. An overwhelming 80++% voted for the kid move to get into bitcoin.  Grin, Lol, he should follow his kid's advise as well and get into BTC, or is he secretly stashing already?

I consider this a slapped in his face for asking this kind of question in social media and people voted for his son's decision to buy, he should know better he should now that we are moving to different direction when it comes to investing, people are voting in technology and internet based projects like Cryptocurrency, his son will end up richer than him.
582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust Active telegram Groups? on: September 08, 2020, 02:56:05 PM
Hi all , I'm a newbie in bitcointalk but not in Crypto field. I have about 6 Years of experience about this field.

As an Investor , Still i have a doubt with some active telegram groups. I have analysed so many projects and Most successful projects had an Active telegram Group.

So far I have analyzed 500+ projects before investment

My analysis Results are here

A)  9%      successful projects with an Active telegram group
B)  6%      unsuccessful projects with an Active telegram group
C)  25%    unsuccessful projects
D)  60%    scam projects

But Now I have decided to invest for a projects having an Active Telegram group , But tell me your openion about these type of projects.
Project name --  Xfinance

Is it belongs to Which one ?[ A or B  Huh?]

I don't trust telegram groups because it's easy to add people in the telegram all they have to do is to run a bounty campaign and obliged bounty hunters to join their telegram group, and there are members here who offer services to developers who want to add people in his group, I trust projects who open a thread here so people can check if the project is legit but on telegram they can delete people who question their project.
583  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Defi Wallets on: September 08, 2020, 01:36:14 PM
584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which website do you usually go to get your news and casino reviews? on: September 08, 2020, 12:40:58 AM
I think that although there are a lot of places to get this information I like to just read the reviews in the gambling section here in the forum. It is enough news for me there and the reviews are completely independent so you really have good feedback for all the casinos.

I am too some reviewers are paid reviews because it was created by one individual or team, compared to forums where many players can post their opinion and these are independent opinions so that makes it reliable, there are two ways too check the gambling site's repuation, first the official gambling site announcement thread, and second the scam section if there is one bad report.
585  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: September 08, 2020, 12:13:34 AM
It's ridiculous if there is a popular gambling site which offers 0% house edge, I can't even imagine how gambling sites are
can survive and make a profit. If there are gambling sites that offer this, my advice is to immediately avoid that gambling sites.
Because most likely that gambling sites are scams. I wouldn't waste my money trying to play at gambling sites that offer
a 0% house edge.

That is why we don't see any 0% house edge in our midst because it's not going to be competitive and if they are not here to make a profit what are their intentions, you guess is as good as mine, it can't stand here, there will be a shadow of a doubt why they set up a 0% house edge and old gamblers will not be attracted to such gambling sites.
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Rebounds as Bitcoin Holds Steady on: September 07, 2020, 10:38:34 PM
Ethereum is one of the coins with the biggest drop 7 days dropped percentage was -18.8%   compared to Bitcoin's -12% so if you check in the market there's not much improvement on the price of both coins after the drop we are actually waiting for something to happen, and that something hopefully is not about moving downwards.
Haha. Pero still accepted parin.

588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moonberg CEO serial sex addict? on: September 07, 2020, 11:09:39 AM
I would not even trust my money to this kind of CEO nor listen and be one of his group, serial sex addict can pour a lot of money to sex workers and sex addiction, they cannot be trusted with money if it's about investment go for CEO that is trustworthy, that can handle our money and with no reason to run away with money like this CEO who spend money indulging in sex.
589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Micah - Sept 26 on: September 07, 2020, 03:38:56 AM
The much anticipated match between The Philippines John Riel Casimero and Japan's Naoya Inoue will not push through this years as both of them are now going to fight a different opponents.

Casimero will be facing Duke Micah on Sept 26 in Connecticut. I do hope that Casimero and Inoue though will square off somewhere in the future. However, it seems that Casimero is looking for a Luis Nery of Mexico.

Duke Micah doesn't have one punch knock out power as Casimero has and he is a not a tactical boxer either he is just go and box boxer I don't see Micah a threat to Casimero unless John Riel relaxes and underestimate Micah, but if he goes through it like what he did to Tete he can knock Micah out and finish the fight in a spectacular fight like what he did to TeTe.

Karereceive ko lang  the other day magtataas na rin sila ng fee sa Ethereum and USDT expected na ito dahil sa pagtaas ng transaction fee ng Ethereum kaya dapat Kung mag transfer ka dapat malakihan para hindi ka matalo sa fee

Quote
Dear valued client,

We are reaching out to inform you that in light of the recent increase in Ethereum network fees, we will implement the following withdrawal fee adjustment effective immediately:

Why the change?

As ETH and USDT are issued and transferred on the Ethereum blockchain, any increase in Ethereum network fees will also affect the fees required to issue and transfer both ETH and USDT.

These changes are being made to reflect the current network demand and to ensure quick and efficient processing of the said cryptocurrency transactions. Please be guided accordingly.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at support@pdax.ph.

Sincerely,

The PDAX Team

591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Define the (scam) DeFi. on: September 06, 2020, 03:01:29 PM

Nothing is wrong in naming which of them are defi scams. You could pick one and tell us why its a scam to make it clear of us who reads it why it can be considered a scam.
So far the only explanation I found why a Defi project was a scam is because the teams not publicly known. It could actually be legit even if they are anonymous but are added on big exchanges like binance and OKEX.  I'm certain these exchanges wouldn't add the token if they can't verify whether this project is legit.

Unfortunately, these exchanges did not verify, there was a tweet coming from Binance head that people should be responsible for what they are investing in the team is washing their hands, so we all thought that if it's coming from Binance it's definitely safe, people should now to think  if they are still going to believe projects that these exchanges are going to list.
592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You have to prove that you can take the loss on: September 06, 2020, 07:12:49 AM
It seems to me that the government can not influence the dependent players... After all, there are a huge number of gambling-sites in different jurisdictions, where anyone can play!

That's actually a silly idea but let them implement and see if it will yield results in their favor I can easily prove a loss, would they use a lie detector to prove that I can take a loss and how they are going to trace people playing online, their rules is very vague and unclear, it will not stand and will just a waste o time trying to catch people who will prove them right.
593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem Gambling in the wake of covid-19 on: September 06, 2020, 07:00:34 AM
I passed the questionnaire easily, this is something expected people are gambling for entertainment and what is the best time and best platform to take away your time while you are in lockdown, there are only three things, movies, gaming, and of course gambling so expect the numbers to spike and I believe that surveys, me and my friends are part of the people that gamble online this pandemic.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your opinion about pi network coin ??? on: September 06, 2020, 04:51:08 AM
Someone recommended me to install the app of pie network coin and in return it will give me 6 coins daily...it has no value now but may be worthy in future..
I wanted to know is that good or I am just wasting my time for nothing....what is your view about this coin

I don't like the KYC part and for making us believe that we are really mining through our cellphones using miner pi is very risky in my opinion because when you installed it they ask you permission to have access to your contacts to all your pictures and calls it's more like a privacy intrusion, those millions of their users are risking their privacy.
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: September 06, 2020, 02:34:27 AM
Anyone would say the same thing about the reason for selling their coin, because it didn't have any further price developments. but on the other hand it is caused by pressing economic needs. this is natural, anyone will do it if they don't have money at all, then sell their options.

It's also one of my options if I really need the money and there's no way to get it but to sell some of my coins I have no choice but to dump it I have done this so many times in the past, I just make it a point, not to look back to the coin, it's priced in the market and development, I will just feel sorry if the price pumps out and it turns out to be a good coin.
596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does bounty still kind of worth on 2020? on: September 05, 2020, 05:18:22 PM
The only challenge we have now is that bounties are not profitable like we have in 2017 but hunters are still making something out of bounties. We have some campaign that have yielded something good like DIA, OIKOS and many more.

They are rare I've checked the bounty sections and some of the bounties there offer a small reward in their pool, it's unlikely that they are going to earn what old bounty hunters are earning back 2017, the ride this year for bounty hunters are very bumpy, there are still so many scam projects here, I'm not very good on looking on a good campaign but you can tell right away some of them are reported in the scam section.
597  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: CHRISTIAN ALBERT GAZA a.k.a "Xian Gaza" Introduce his own coin on: September 05, 2020, 03:20:25 PM

Kaya nya  ginawa yung Xian coin. At eto namang mga kababayan natin na akala nila yayaman din sila kapag yumaman si Xian dahil sa shitcoin na inooffer nya, go parin sila sa investment without knowing future possibilities and the initial and potential risks.

598  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam] Coinshares cloud mining on: September 05, 2020, 01:21:46 PM
It is funny they ask minimum of 3 bitcoins for fake 25% daily profit and all that is forever as they say...

If people will only use common sense they will not get scam by this kind of Ponzi schemes, when there is still no internet it was very easy to catch people who runs a Ponzi scheme because you can see their face, who they are dealing with, it's very much different here on the internet, you are dealing with fake people, people you never met you just assume they are good people.
599  Economy / Reputation / Re: Give this user an attention on: September 05, 2020, 11:13:35 AM
Look what you did, made him leave: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5272956.0

With a flag and a lot of bad feedbacks makes him want to leave but I'm sure he will create another account, it's hard to leave a forum like Bitcointalk when you can open a lot of different topics and issues about Cryptocurrencies and what's happening around us, this forum has become the best  place to be about, so many topics about the internet.
