3  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Bitmain Coupons - $100, $125 - selling for dirt cheap prices on: May 08, 2018, 08:59:16 PM
Hello,

I have the follow coupons for sale:

  • 122x $100 USD @ $2.5 USD each
  • 30x $125 USD @$15 USD each

Slight discount when purchased in bulk! But please be sensible about haggling, razor thin margins.

Escrow accepted, but only with $50 USD or above. I'm have traded many times on this forum, can check my feedbacks.

Prefer payment in LTC, BCH, BTC, ETH, in that order.

PM me if interested.

Would you take $30 for 4 of the $125 coupons?
4  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 2 x Bitmain S7's for sale on: April 26, 2018, 02:08:35 AM
Not for the $200.  But could work out something. These are the DPS1200 units with break out boards. I'm powering the controllers and fans with a separate atx power supply I had laying around.  If someone wanted both, I could probably be persuaded to complete a deal with all five pieces.

As the title suggests, I have a pair of working S7's I've decided to stop mining with - they are my last pair and very likely my exit from mining.

Looking around the site, looks like an S7 is going for about $200?  I'll take $200 ea plus shipping, will accept LTC, BTC, XMR, XRP.  These are working miners in a climate controlled DC.

I'm willing to do escrow with a trusted member, but you pay any escrow fees and set it up.  I can provide pics if you really want, but you know what they look like.

Forgot to mention, shipping from Wisconsin, USA

7  Economy / Computer hardware / Various S9 and L3 units available for sell on: February 13, 2018, 11:29:14 PM
Through a family contact with business relationship (which, yea - I know sounds shady) I was asked to see if there was interest in some S9 and L3+ units.

  • S9 13.5T in stock, price: $2980 , delivery in hongkong , not include psu.   350 pcs in stock
  • S9 14T in stock , price: $3360 , delivery in shenzhen ,not include psu.    80 pcs in stock
  • S9 13.5T delivery in March, price: $2750, delivery in hongkong , not include psu. 600 pcs available
  • S9 13.5T delivery in March, price: $2950 , delivery in shenzhen, included psu .  120 pcs available
  • L3+ delivery in March, price: $1900 ,delivery in hongkong, not include psu.   190 pcs available
  • Original psu price $150/pc.

I'm waiting on the pics for the units that are in stock and will post them as soon as I have them.  Will accept crypto for conversion price based on bitfinex plus 4%.  Shipping extra to your location otherwise pick-up in China is an option?

If the business contact does not provide me pictures before the end of the week, I'll remove this post and apologize for wasting everyone's time.  Escrow an option until I'm told otherwise (in which case I'll remove the post as well - escrow is the only way to go).

let me know if there is interest, there is some price flexibility for multiple units.

-cheers

8  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] A2, L3+, D3 Hosted in JeffColo on: November 17, 2017, 04:45:04 PM
I meant that if anyone wants to use the warranty I can send it to bitmain but they pay the shipping. I have never done this and don't know if they'll charge to fix/replace.

That's a really generous step for you, just the hassle alone.

Assuming it's under warranty, they should fix for free...
9  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] A2, L3+, D3 Hosted in JeffColo on: November 17, 2017, 03:29:17 PM
L3+ is still under warranty so if you agree on paying the shipping fee to bitmain you can get a fully working L3. Pm me your offer.

Warranty's from Bitmain are non transferrable and they are unlikely to repair for free (regardless of shipping).  Just saying...

AntMiner L3+
AntMiner S9
AntMiner D3
AntMiner S7

Where are you shipping from?  And what prices for individual miners?  Discounts for multiples?
11  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Unpaid Pre Sale Order for 2 x Antminer L3+ (21-31 Oct ) only 3 LTC on: August 24, 2017, 01:35:28 PM
So fucking annoyed by so many people sniping these up on Bitmain's website.  I stayed up until 4am to buy and their site was flooded and completely unresponsive.  When I finally got my order placed, I didn't receive a confirmation and the LTC address until after the 1hr expiration had passed.  By the time I try to submit payment, not only was my order expired, but by then the availability had gone to zero.

Congratulations to the fledgling BCH and wish everyone great success with it. I hope to get just under 0.5 of it I hope from the various exchanges that promised to give it out so am hoping I will see that in my balance in a few days. Will keep it as a souvenir I think.

Agreed.  Between two exchanges, I'll end up with about .7 - probably just sit on that.  It's like getting free Dogecoin with my Litecoin - no real need to mess with it just yet.

so can we use our btc now and get bitcoin cash later , or need to wait little bit longer ?

At the very least, I'd wait until an actual fork has occurred.  Anything you spend, may not necessarily end up on the BCC chain.

This site is back up

Currently not signaling hard fork - but within another 4 minutes (At time of this posting).

Is there a way to monitor if BCH block was mined and we have already new chain? Like some site or whatever.

There were a couple of sites I was monitoring last night that are not currently working.  They were showing the signaling and the need for a split.  This ons is down currently, but looked promising for tracking the split.  My guess is the website was over loaded with people watching it and the webserver died:

Here's where you can the latest version (09-01-2015) ~254.5MB:
https://mega.nz/#!3VkjgaJT!PH4ixphRQFT23tgTwpnSwrkJPG0gB2VXsmN9BxagftI

Just wanted to share that I was able to resurrect a dead A2 60MHs (4 mining boards) unit with this firmware.  The host died about 2 months ago and I'd basically written it off.  Pulled it apart yesterday, found that the SD card was dead.  I downloaded a couple of different images, the one referenced above, the one from zoomhash and the one from Emdje.

For no particular reason, I started with this one from MarkAz (quoted/referenced) and fired it up.  Connected to the webUI, modified the miner settings, and clicked start.  Boom, operational again.

Couple of questions/thoughts.  In the webUI, under device profile, there is a text field to input the number of boards (mine is 4), and a drop down for picking either the 88MH/s or 110MH/s models.  I don't know that it's relevant for anything other than the user interface, but if you were so inclined to update the image for the 2 and 4 board models, that wold be awesome.

At the top of the page, there appear to be a total of 8 graphs available.  The lower 4 are CPU Load, Temp, Gateway ping and Internet ping.  The top 4 are not rendering or are broken (no data?). scratch that - after about an hour, the top 4 graphs are showing now.

Anyway, I left the speed at the default of 1200Mhz, I see no reason to change it if it's working.  After about 30 minutes, the total board average is about 58MHs, which is a little slower than I remember (avg around 62).  I may grab try one of the other images and attempt a high clock speed, but I'll probably leave it alone for a bit and confirm what the pool side sees.

Feel free to ask any questions, I'm happy to share any details about the chassis or the setup.

Cheers,
baldpope

Could you supply some pics of running miners and share where they are being shipped from?
19  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [FS] Drop-in bracket to mount 7 GPUs at the front of a Rosewill server chassis on: February 08, 2017, 02:25:29 PM
Yup, I'm going to try to setup this first one to intake air from the front and do a test but the problem is you will push all that heat from the GPU's into the PSU, Board, Memory/CPU -- I'm not sure which is the lesser of the two evils.

The kit and its instructions however have the hot air coming out the front.

Just throwing my .02BTC into the conversation.  Unless the fans on the cards can be reversed, you almost have to exhaust out the front of the case.  Otherwise the intake from the front fans and the exhaust (Facing the front) from the GPUs will just create some interesting thermal eddy's and not really move sufficient air in the first place.  If you're really concerned with air-flow at the rear, you could also add a few of the pci-slot exhaust fans, like these:

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835119066

I'm not recommending that one specifically, just using as reference.

The case add-on looks great, if I was getting back into GPU mining, I'd pick this up in a heart beat.

How many H/s people are getting using RX480 8GB please?
Thanks

Between 180 to 200.

Is it comparable to the RX480 4GB?  Also, early reports the RX470 were getting only slightly slower results.  Trying to figure out which card I want to grab.
