81  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Zeusminer Scrypt ASICs (~80MH) on: February 18, 2015, 06:46:19 AM
Hey,

I have around 80MH worth of scrypt mining hardware available if anyone is interested. Located in Ontario, Canada.

These miners give off a significant amount of heat, and my furnace has only turned on four times this winter as a result, which would be useful to heat a garage or basement/small house.

Units Available:

Zeusminer Thunder X3 - 30MH
Zeusminer Lightning X6 - 36MH
Zeusminer Hurricane X6 - 10MH
Zeusminer Blizzard X3 - 1.3MH (6 available) Some of the power bricks are now normal bricks (hehe). I use a PCI adapter into a regular PSU

This setup currently brings in about .015BTC per day on westhash.

I have no idea what these things go for these days.

Let me know if you're interested, send me a message or make an offer.

Can you provide some pics with your username in there please?

FINALLY GOT MY PACKAGE.

DO NOT PLACE ORDERS WITH ZEHASH.  IT IS OFFICIALLY A SCAM.

Gotta run, will return later to elaborate.  Just wanted to make a quick post to let everyone know.

well, don't leave us in suspense - what was the delivery?
83  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Cheap Sale. Scrypt miner cheaper than cost. zehash.com on: January 21, 2015, 03:41:50 AM
I just placed an order for 1 of the silverfish miners.  I'll take one for the team and see if they are legit.  I chatted with someone in support on their website last night (probably the same guy who posts in this thread).  I can't say why exactly, just got a good feeling these guys are more likely to be legit resellers of what must be an ocean of used scrypt ASICs rather than scammers, but I will keep you guys posted.

It's a nice price point for the hashing rate.  please keep the thread informed if you do receive them.  would love to see some 'received' pictures of the units as well.

84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Maieuticoin | 2014% PoS | STAKING HARDWARE WALLET - Batch 2 Raffles! on: January 11, 2015, 05:03:34 AM
MORE MINING REWARDS THIS WEEKEND!!

Sometime between now and end of day Sunday CST, I will award 5 MMXIV each to the highest hashrate on each algo of the pool:

5 10 MMXIV for the highest SHA-256 hashrate
5 10 MMXIV for the highest Scrypt hashrate
5 10 MMXIV for the highest X11 hashrate

TOTAL:  15 30 MMXIV

THIS TIME, just to be different, I am throwing in a few extra bonuses:

If the SHA256 hashrate rises above 20 TH there will be a 0.5 1 MMXIV bonus for every SHA256 miner on the pool
If the Scrypt hashrate rises above 1,000 MH there will be a 0.5 1 MMXIV bonus for every Scrypt miner on the pool
If the X11 hashrate rises above 1,000 MH there will be a 0.5 1 MMXIV bonus for every X11 miner on the pool

With MMXIV's recent rise in price, this reward is worth well over 0.2 BTC for each algo, in addition to what you already earn just for mining at the pool.  Think about what kind of mining rig you could rent for less than this Smiley

Could be tomorrow, could be Sunday - KEEP MINING Smiley
http://pool.mmxivcoin.com

Current stats:

SHA-256:  10.35 TH
Scrypt:  752.35 MH
X11:   156.16 MH

Halfway to the bonus in SHA256 and almost there on scrypt, keep it up people!

Looks like we crossed it with scrypt side:

 Stats for Maieuticoin Multipool
 Algo     Workers   Hashrate  Blocks     Shares
 sha256        21   11.03 TH    1661  299499699
 scrypt        14    1.11 GH     206  793627074

Just got in on this pool, looks promising and interesting.  we'll see what it looks like after a few days.

deal reached with quakefiend420, will update the thread once received.

quakefiend420 confirmed payment and will ship tomorrow.  so far nice and smooth.

Well UPS took a little longer than I would have liked, but it is the holiday season, so can't complain too much.

I received the first two units today.

Both were packaged well, and as described by quakefiend420.

Both powered up and once configured (very simple web interface) they were mining with my pool.  So far very satisfied.

The other two units I expect to arrive tomorrow or worst case on Friday.

Received the last 2 units this Friday.  Again, both units packaged very well, and as quakfiend420 described show signs of travelling the country a couple of times over.

After testing, determined one of the units had a bad mining board, but quakefiend420 made it right.

If you're evaluating making a purchase from him, you can rest assured it's probably a safe trade.  He's been very good with communication and I would buy from him again.

To recap -
  • 4 x 4U 25MH Gridseed miners with power supplies.
  • 2 x mining board faulty - quakefiend420 made it right
  • happy miner

Four sold, four left.

JUST DROPPED THE PRICE AGAIN, SOMEONE TAKE THESE OFF MY HANDS!! Smiley

Each of these is a 4U case with 5 blades, a raspberry pi, and an 850w Gold Seasonic PSU all in one unit.  10 LEDs on the front for an easy look at the status of each unit(5 blades with 2 boards per blade).  It runs at 25MH and consumes around 420w on 240V power and around 450-460w on 120V at an ambient of 70F(measured with my killawat@120V and my metered PDU@240V).  The cooler you keep these, the less power they seem to consume in my experience.  I have some in my garage that are in the 55-60F range and they pull more like 410w on 240V.  These are more efficient than the Gridseed blades(5.2MH@120w), pods(.36MH@9w) or the Zeusminers(30MH@1000w for first gen or 38MH@1000w for 2nd gen), or anything from GAW, too.  The only more efficient gear that you can get your hands on are Innosilicon or KNC Titan, and the Titan has proven to be extremely unreliable and KNC's support frankly sucks.  Also you're going to pay a lot more for those...

These are complete self contained units, plug into power and ethernet, enter pool info, and start mining immediately.  I have 4 available and would prefer to ship to the USA, as they're rather heavy at 37lbs each.

Looking for $200/ea in BTC/LTC each plus actual shipping cost(you can also send me your label if you have a hookup on cheap shipping, 37lbs, 22X22X10 ea).  Justification is Scrypt HW has been selling for $10/MH or so and these also include an excellent PSU(which is selling on eBay for $60-80 by itself) as well as the raspberry pi/internal USB hub and are the best of the bunch so far as efficiency goes.  Or make me an offer, if you're buying more than one I'm a lot more willing to negotiate.

Note, these are used, have been shipped more than once, and will show as such.  Scratches, dents, dust, etc.  Guaranteed fully functional, however, which is what we all really care about, right?  These will pull from my mining farm and will ship immediately.  Any questions, just ask!

deal reached with quakefiend420, will update the thread once received.
93  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] US 10 Gridseed blades + Power supply + usb hub + Rasb PI on: December 09, 2014, 07:07:03 AM
Are you firm on this price?  At your asking price, your at $21/MH with shipping pushing it even higher.

Any idea what the actual draw is from the wall with all 10 powered up?
94  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: SELLING EVERYTHING AT A HUGE LOSS!!!! SCRYPT MINERS on: November 14, 2014, 05:23:08 AM
PM sent.

I'm interested in just about any of those miners if we can negotiate a good deal.
95  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS GAW Fury 1.3-1.4 MH/s Scrypt ASIC for .1 BTC - Continental U.S. only! on: November 12, 2014, 10:45:35 PM
You'd be best to sell it on eBay for that price.

It's worth $20 at most shipped here.

Disagree. But thanks for the input.

Yea, I'd disagree also, it's worth less.

Various cloud mining servers are $10/MH or less.

You will find buyers on ebay to get top dollar for that miner.  It's a good miner, but not worth the .1BTC that you're asking, especially with the current rally going on.
96  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS]A pair (2) Scrypt Zeus miners with 14.5MH/s each (optionally PSUs) on: November 11, 2014, 03:39:45 PM
Thanks for the offer!

If I were employed and allready on my own, this will be a great price. Make that double and you'll get both!

apologies for being dense, but I wanted to make sure I understood your notes...

Are you asking for .8BTC/ea (a total of 1.6BTC) or .8BTC for both.

If you will accept .8BTC for both I'm interested - though I'm in the US.  I could work something out regarding shipping.
97  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS]A pair (2) Scrypt Zeus miners with 14.5MH/s each (optionally PSUs) on: November 10, 2014, 02:36:18 PM
Hello!
...
So the highlights for option 1 are:
2x Zeus Hurricane cca 14500 KH/s
...
both are upgreadable to 65MH/s, this means 130MH/s for a half the power consumption - officially by Zeus company

It should be worth noting that Zeus has cancelled the blade upgrade program and will likely not (at this point) ever ship the Gen3 blades as upgrades to existing miners.  They are instead focusing on cloud hashing through their ZenHash service.  Pre-orders of the blade and volcano units have either been converted to cloud hashing (at about double the price) or refunded...

Their response was to my question about transferring pre-orders and for an estimated ship date.

I just wanted to share what I'd learned.
