Should I sell some fries ? 25K again. Shocked

I really do not know what to do, the only thing I learned in Crypto, and that people really want to make the maximum BTC possible, all coin is P&D, without exception, and 90% or more of people are daytraders. No one is interested in building an ecosystem, people only want to take advantage of to every pump  and to and make the maximum possible BTC, and I'm really getting into the game.  Grin

The only bad thing and that most of people does not have any inside information, those who have privileged information is only 0.01% of the market, and these guys are enriching pretty fast...

Predator, please dump all BC finally and return back to XLB. Deal? :-)
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC/BLK) | PoS | Multipool | Coinkite Launch June 1st! on: June 03, 2014, 01:46:42 PM
The guy seemed like a ****** used car dealer coke head.. But hey he's from the "entertainment industry" so I guess that's normal for guys like him.

Wizfarm gone IE back and black is at a buyable price again... Seems all g to me.

And on top of that, all miners can look forward for their BC payouts from BlackCoinPool tommorow. :-)  Today and yesterday it was ridiculously low due to high BC price. All wrong is good for something. Let's keep the BC price low at least for 1 one more week please so that I can mine few more hundred BCs.
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC/BLK) | PoS | Multipool | Coinkite Launch June 1st! on: June 03, 2014, 01:39:43 PM
Haven't we already experienced drama regarding Wizz supporting Cinni some time ago when BC price was down? Now again the same situation, BC price going down and Wizz leaving. Is it just coincidence? Now I don't understand if price going down because Wizz leaving or vice versa. I don't think one person can shake the market. We already had drama with IconicExpert and apparently his leaving helped BlackCoin, at least for a while.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GRS] GroestlCoin: Democratizing Mining | AES Accelerated | Ultimate PoW on: May 31, 2014, 05:39:43 AM
Hey guys, can someone summarize why the GRS price started to rise? I bough some GRS some time ago at 1300 SAT so I wonder if it can ever reach that price again. Smiley

Yay! Got my 2 promo tickets from multipool.  Grin

I have got 1 ticket, cool! The BCPool is gonna explode soon. Finally many miners start understanding that the only coin which is worth mining and holding currently is BlackCoin. If I look on Mintpal, all coins getting dumped to hell even "big brother" DRK. And BC holding like a boss big times!
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC/BLK) | PoS | Multipool | Coinkite Launch June 1st! on: May 28, 2014, 07:32:01 AM
BCPool is the most profitable pool in the world in the long run. In the last few months I tried to mine various different coins directly and I made NO PROFIT at all. The strategy MINE and HOLD simply doesn't work in general because most miners always mine wrong coin without any clear future. Only few coins are worth holding and BlackCoin is one of them. With new coins the only strategy which works is MINE and DUMP. 90% coins which reach exchange have highest price only in few first hours, than they are dumped heavily. So I hold tons of different worthless coins now because I was so naive to believe that holding is the way for success. Maybe one of those coins might skyrocket in future by chance. As I'm watching BC for the last 2 months, it's keeping it's value, there are some ups and downs but the value is always between 25k-30k and I believe soon it will skyrocket again when finally integrated with CoinKite. So my strategy for the next couple of weeks will be mining on BCPool (X11 algo) and try to accumulate more by trading. The temptation to jump on some new coin and mine it from launch is always strong but I will try to resist this time, I got burned already so many times. There are already too many miners who want to mine from launch and the chance that I will sell the coins with profit is very low with my small rig. Also the BlackPonzi.com is nice way to earn quickly more BC but that's rather risky, investment within first 24 hours most likely makes profit, but then it's becoming very risky.

This is how I imagine the MNR logo should look like. It has simmilar look as current logo but this one is nicer. What I would do is I would apply some photoshop effects on this one like metalic effect, little bit more embossing etc..

669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mjollnircoin - MNR - Ultra-secure, Fast Transactions & ASIC resistant on: May 27, 2014, 05:03:44 AM
This is such a good game. -> http://blackponzi.com/  We should ask this guy who owns that page to add MNR so that we can at least play pyramid game if there is no volume on exchanges. I honestly made more BC yesterday in few hours then by trading on exchange for the last 2 weeks. Question is if there would be enough volume for MNR also :-)
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][X11] X11 (Darkcoin etc) miner (based on sph-sgminer) on: May 26, 2014, 02:07:11 PM

this error is because there is sgminer.conf with undefinied pool, just rename this file to sgminer.co or something else if you use your own .bat file to run.
btw this miner work fine for me, everything is ok, and with -I 18 I get 7970 = 3,350 Mh, 7950 = 2,950 Mh  Wink

Thank you Kocurik, it helped. I forgot to delete sgminer.conf file :-)
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][X11] X11 (Darkcoin etc) miner (based on sph-sgminer) on: May 26, 2014, 11:39:04 AM
Elun: I have now tried previous version of SGMiner from this thread with exactly same config and those "No such host" errors are NOT appearing at all. Also BlackCoinPool is showing hashrate normally so it seems to work. I think there is some bug in the code probably. Could be some issue with BCPool stratum which has maybe some issue with this modified version of SGMiner? Here is the error:

672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][X11] X11 (Darkcoin etc) miner (based on sph-sgminer) on: May 26, 2014, 11:15:49 AM
I have tried now the latest SGMiner from this link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/59lvecndm866bzz/sph-sgminer_x11mod_b2.zip and getting following results:

280x -> 3,33Mh/s
290 -> 3,73 Mh/s

Config (280x,280x,290):
sgminer --kernel x11mod -o stratum+tcp://useast.blackcoinpool.com:3333 -u UserName.1 -p x -I 15,15,15 -w 128,128,256 --thread-concurrency 8192,8192,25601 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500,1250 --gpu-engine 1090,1090,1000 --gpu-fan 60 --gpu-powertune 20 -g 2,2,4

The pool is showing hashrate accordingly but I'm seeing this error popping up frequently:

getaddrinfo() in setup_stratum_socket() returned 11001: No such host is known

What is this error?
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELT] Electron, a new Blake-256 coin for GPU/FPGA on: May 25, 2014, 06:50:44 PM
Why don't we create Blake clones of all those latest hyped coins with Proof of Steak, Anonymous, DarkSend and I don't know what other bullshit features? These current Blake coins are quite boring to be honest. As I am monitoring market and trading on Mintpal daily it's quite clear that the most profitable coins have always all latest features included. :-)  Apparently every single stupid clone is able to gain some significant volume at least for couple of days till it's dumped to hell. Smiley

Don't take me wrong. Merge mining is fine idea. But why the hell are you adding just shitcoins without any added value. What do you expect of that? I think all miners would like to know what are the plans with these coins because at the end they need to pay electricity bills. Who is gonna buy those coins? I mine coins because it's a hobby (and have real cheap electricity), I make real profits by trading. So I mine whatever I want, one day Blake, another day Mjollnir, then BlackCoin and so on. I already realized long time ago that sticking my rig to one coin for longer period is in 90% pure loss unless you mine on some wafflepool and convert immediately to BTC. But mining altcoins directly and holding can be extremely profitable if that particular shitcoin skyrockets, but it's just pure gamble and most probably most people stick to wrong coins.

they are being bought and sold on the exchanges maybe you should look and I am happy to accept coins into the merge on these conditions: No premine No IPO

we will work together to make this a strong community one based on mutual aid, if you dont like it go mine something else

and of course like I said if you think you can do better then please show us all how its done with your own effort!

The merge mining is not an "idea" its reality and has taken months of hard work just to get this far  Cry

Can you add MjollnirCoin? But it would have to change algo from Hefty to Blake if it's technically possible. Hefty was first time used by HeavyCoin. Also such cool algo (low temps). https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577437.0

I wonder what drives some miners mine all these blake coins which have literally no value (yet). Soon we will be merge mining 100 coins which even won't be added to any exchange because they will not be worth adding. There is no innovation in those single coins other than ability of being merge mined (what apparently decreases their uniqueness and value). The merged mining technology is nice idea but we need to bring it to next level and think how to add value to these shitcoins. So far this seems to be just a a nice hobby for IT nerds who believe it's better to mine 5 shitcoins at the same time rather than 1 :-). But still 5 x 0 = 0.

Make a coin that does this and stop complaining

BLC, PHO, BBTC and Dirac are all on exchanges and so will this one!

0 value my ass go mine something else if you dont like it or make something better  Undecided

Found 4 blocks after 1 hour. Great. 4 Satoshis earned so easy hehe.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ELT] Electron, a new Blake-256 coin for GPU/FPGA on: May 25, 2014, 04:10:25 PM
How do I mine solo?

I figured out already, but I'm not sure I'm gonna find some blocks now with 8Gh/s. Where can I see if NY2 pool is finding some ELT blocks?

I like the silver one looking like LiteCoin :-). BTW you could try to change the font to look more ancient.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][X11] X11 (Darkcoin etc) miner (based on sph-sgminer) on: May 25, 2014, 11:10:52 AM
So I made some experiments on my rig and now I think I can be satisfied with the results. When I was running the modified SGMiner previously I was getting 2,6 Mh on 280x and 1,5 Mh on 290. Now I'm getting this:

I did following:

1) Uninstalled completely AMD Catalyst driver 13.12 with Driver Uninstaller in Safe Mode -> http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html
2) Installed latest Catalyst 14.4
3) And this is my config for following cards 2xR280x (MSI Gaming) and 1xR290 (Sapphire reference):

-------------------------------------------
del *.bin
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

sgminer --kernel x11mod -o stratum+tcp://useast.blackcoinpool.com:3333 -u UserName.1 -p x -I 15,15,15 -w 128,128,256 --thread-concurrency 8192,8192,24550 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500,1250 --gpu-engine 1090,1090,1000 --gpu-fan 60 --gpu-powertune 20 -g 2,2,2
-------------------------------------------

I hope this helps somebody. It would be really fine to optimize for R290, I would expect at least 3,5Mh.

I am using this miner from that November guy -> https://www.dropbox.com/s/skv74wv378h5qnl/sgminerx11.rar
