Funny how whatever is said here you still don't explain why your so protected states such as Texas have still this huge number of rapes and violent crimes. Higher than in less protected states.

I thought guns were here to protect you?
942  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: March 01, 2016, 10:24:16 AM
Used to be indifferent about guns and having them. Recently after having my first child my viewpoint is firm now.
Even though I live in a nice area I always sleep with my pistol in a quick release safe under my bed.

The AKs and other guns stay in the big safe for other reasons.

Think that people that can own guns should get the knowledge about owning one and get one.

Cool. It means your kid can find your gun if you ever leave it unwatched.

I just hope he won't be one of the hundred yearly kids who kill themselves with a gun.

maybe you missed the word SAFE

Part of the responsibility of being a gun owner is making sure it is properly stored. maybe you would feel better if the government made sure I did.

Point being...
I would rather have the means to defend myself and my family if something were to ever happen. Rather than call 911 and wait 20min for cops to show up LOL

If cops take 20min to reach you then it means you're in a shitty country.

I have known some women who started carrying AFTER having been assaulted or raped.  Argue with their point of view will do you no good, ever.  They are hard core committed to protection, and they are not going to hope some cops might reach them.  THey're not even going to argue with you.  They just laugh and walk away.

Can't get around it by saying something like "you're in a shitty country."

Maybe that's true, so what?  Few will move from where their families, relatives and friends are.

Well if you're in a shitty country it's another point.

Do whatever you want, if cops take 20 min to reach you after you call them it's not exactly normal.
Most police intervention are done under 10 min where I live. Hard to be faster than that.
943  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: March 01, 2016, 10:09:21 AM
Did anyone read Deadzone from Stephan King?

The whole book is about a man getting the power to see the future and he gonna try to stop a man racing for president because he's a fucking psycho and the worst possible choice ever.

Trump reminds me greatly of this man, same lack of any kind of quality but same dumb people voting for him...
944  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Manny Pacquiao stands on same sex marriage on: March 01, 2016, 09:54:21 AM
Pacman did big mistake for having said that people (homosexual) are worst than animals...
The term he use is not that acceptable to LGBT groups...
Maybe next time he will do a review of the question first before he even go to a interview...

Lol, the term he's used isn't acceptable by anyone, not only by LGBT groups xD
If I tell you you're worse than an animal will you take it ok?

Well of course in a sense we're all animals so it could be interpreted as just a normal statement.
Let's be honest gays aren't better than animals. But neither heterosexual are. We're all talking about very basic activities here (fucking what's next to you).

But the fact that he said animals can't be gays and that it's not natural is dangerous because it makes people believe gayness is some kind of mental disease... Seriously it's the 21st century ok? Stop spreading such BS!
945  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Manny Pacquiao stands on same sex marriage on: March 01, 2016, 09:50:49 AM
I believe so that he trying to express his opinion when it comes to this matter. He is just being realistic, this is his belief and anyone can actually express his own thoughts wherein we ,do also exercise our freedom. Not all people may agree to it. But then he forgot that not all people are having the same beliefs which make this an issue..

Problem is not his belief or the fact that he hates gays. We don't care about that, he gets every right to do so.
Problem is he's spreading false information like saying homosexuality isn't natural and animals doesn't do that. Which is false and has always been proven wrong.

Yeah, but manny doesn't hate gays or lesbians but he hates same-sex marriage, he has the point to say what is right but manny even though he know that many will hate him but its true, the truth hurts that same-sex marriage doesn't fit in this world and it is an abomination to God. God hates sin but love the sinners that's what manny wants to tell to everyone.

Oh yeah that's what he wants to say by quoting the Leviticus?

Anyway this whole debate doesn't matter! I don't care what he wants, his personnal opinions isn't my business!
The point is that he spreads FALSE information! That's all what's important here!

He even gots the right to hate fags, I don't care. But he shouldn't say things that are proven to be wrong and so easy to check!
946  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 01, 2016, 09:44:59 AM
Seriously guys! Stop repeating the same things over and over again. You guys keep on saying that the button does not work every week it doesn't!
Isn't a single post of someone here enough that the butto will eventually be fixed? You guys are obviously taking advantage of the situation just so you guys can get an extra post!

Seriously just stop! I think yobit should consider that all post in this thread should not count so everyone will stop spamming here weekly for the same reasons.

Learn to read please!

The button will eventually be fixed any sooner. There is no reason to panic so please stop asking the same question over and over again without even reading the thread that the same issue has been asked for a couple of hundred times!

If you guys even post about the button after this post of mine I am pretty sure that you guys are just spamming here.
Do something better with your time please!

I understand your concerns but two things:
1/ People might just not see your post, especially as it's a campaign thread nobody really takes the time to go back
2/ It's not because YOU say it that it changes anything or makes the situation better Wink

On another topic, seems obvious to me that Yobit shouldn't count any post here or in the Off topic section. That's the first thing every other campaign do.
947  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: March 01, 2016, 09:41:55 AM
In other words, I was right, and all those who argued against my asserting "there is no warming last 19 years" were WRONG.

THEY WRONG!

WRONG!

WRONG!

Or they be Deniers!

HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh yeah because we should believe what Wilikon writes even if there is nothing in it, no link, no source, nothing.

But I guess it's the same thing as usual, you guys always act like that.

Coleman, Spendelus and Wilikon. The trinity of the "I'm right even if I've neither arguments nor sources".
948  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shocking Times: Movement for Pedophile “Rights” Marches On on: March 01, 2016, 09:37:19 AM
Wow, what's said here is still a bit disturbing...

I understand your point saying that they should be treated like any other criminals... But I'm pretty sure they got a mental disorder that allows us to call them predators! ^^

So simple to understand.

So simple to understand no psychiatrist will do it. Funny how you know it's a mental disorder while those thousands of intellectuals who studied the phenomenon for years don't conclude on this. You must be very intelligent that's for sure!
949  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Racism is a real thing (this thread is extremely racist) on: March 01, 2016, 09:36:01 AM
this a good read, although with more data the numbers could change - but the direction is pretty clear:
(btw there exists a negative corrolation between religion and iq and much more)

Agreed with both bolded statement ^^
950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will win WW3? on: March 01, 2016, 09:34:21 AM
EU as a political strength maybe. But as a military alliance it's powerful enough.
If you don't have political unity and consensus, forget about UNITY and military power. EU is just extended arm of US.But Germany have other plans and won't  let further cooling of relations with Russia.
So from start you don't have unity!

If you think on Nato this is something different, Nato is US controlled entity.

Nato isn't important. What's important is that thx to France nuclear power EU can stay independant as much as they want.
951  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you with or against "the U.K. quits the European Union" ? on: March 01, 2016, 09:33:27 AM
After the thatcher rabate and the eu subsidies GB pays around 18 million pounds per day to the eu.

If we divide that through the 50 millions brits it makes ~0,36 pounds per day  or 131,4 pounds per year for every brit and this would place GB on place 8 of the 10 net contributors.

What a high price for a domestic market of ~340 million people and freedom of travel, living and working where you want.

The funny thing:

Of course GB can get out, but they would have to negotiate all treaties again and as net effect they would have a status like the scadinavian countries:
They are part of the EU just without power to say anything.

They don't give a fuck about that. They have one of the highest Gini index of Europe, they're a free and unequal society. They have nothing to do with the European dream, they'll be much more at ease as American puppets.
952  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crazy shit Bible says, crazy shit Christians say on: February 29, 2016, 10:10:06 AM
Now there is your time machine.  You do yearly backup when you renew your driver's license.   When you die, they'll restore your brain to the year you specified on driver license application.  Or it could be a walk-in procedure, you walk in and do a refresh from 10 years ago.

Sort of like the movie Groundhog Day.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VF5P7qLaEQ

Combined with human cloning they will be able to backup one's brain when he/she is born and then clone him/her, grow him/her, and upload the backup.  So people would never really die.

That should be doable within 20-40 years, if not sooner...

The hard part is the clone... that's gonna take another 20 years unless you want to be a baby

40 years? Are you guessing or have you read Kurzweil's book about the singularity?

Just an educated guess based on the progress of the current research

But then again, I thought we'd have flying cars too

We've got flying cars already. But nobody wants or need them.

For the cloning part, I'd say much more than that especially because there no real use to it. We still can't implement the life experience, the thoughts, and we will probably never be able to do so. Hence a clone would be a totally different person.

Hmm, that brings another question:  Is talent something that is stored in the brain at birth?  Or just a predisposition in the brain, that if exercised makes a person an arts or math genius.  I'm sure you can copy the memory, but would your brain develop the same way if you were cloned?

Pregnancy probably influences the brain development to some degree, so maybe you will never be able to clone humans exactly.  Unless technology is developed to run pregnancy in a controlled environment, even then extra care would have to be taken to duplicate the subjects exactly.

It is like if you take two seemingly identical seeds and plant them, it is hard to get 100% identical plants.  One might get more nutrients, more water, more sunlight, less wind, no obstructions in soil etc.  Human development is several magnitudes more complicated than plant development.

I don't see how you could copy the memory to be honest :/

And you wouldn't be able to copy the experience! Which would mean that by having a younger brain, you would also lose most of what you've learned!!!

The same way you're copying programs, apps, registry files or system files from one hard drive to another.

Yeah but you know how to copy them because you know how to store the data. Do we know how our brain stores data?
953  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: February 29, 2016, 10:09:18 AM

Nope. BADecker isn't a guru on cause and effect. BADecker simply knows that Newton's 3rd Law substantiates cause and effect in everything.

God exists, and the science He created proves it.

Cool

Nope BSEcker can't even look at a definition like entropy, completely misunderstand the meaning of those very precise words and use the laws (that apply only to the CORRECT definition) like it was normal.

It's like if I says 2+2=4 we all agree. Well now if I say that 2 is the same as 3, it means that 3+2=4. Why can't you see the truth? 3+2=4 it's obvious you just refuse it!

He does actually attempt to prove that 1 + 1 != 2 earlier on in this thread. Entertaining in it's way, and I'm sure he'll pull out the old "maths is not perfect" chestnut again if you ask him nicely.

Math is not perfect? xD
Didn't read that! I hope he'll go again with such an argument!!!

Math is perfect. However, it is virtual. Virtual doesn't fit reality perfectly. The reason that math works for the average person is, the person automatically applies virtual math to reality in ways that make up for the differences between the two. But when you get into complex math, the person can't connect the complex virtual with reality as easily. Math is gradually shown in complex math that it doesn't apply to reality.

Cool

"Math is gradually shown in complex math that it doesn't apply to reality."

Wrong. Totally wrong. It appears more clearly every time you post that you never studied science. Every mathematician will explain you how and why math applies to reality. Whatever the level of complexity.

It is God who gave man music and instruments in first place to worship him.

<snip>

You say this thing, but I don't hear any proof. Can you prove this assertion?

That god created music? Well as long as I know he never made a tube so...
955  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Manny Pacquiao stands on same sex marriage on: February 29, 2016, 10:03:55 AM
Do you spend as much time watching animals as you spend learning how to spell?

I have never seen a whale... does that mean whales don't exist?  Same logical fallacy

Homosexual behavior is not normal among the animals. It is rare. The prevalence of homosexuality among animals is even lower than it is in humans.

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2004/07/0722_040722_gayanimal.html

And I am skeptical about the research done by various pro-LGBT groups on animals. In the past, they have used various dirty tactics to falsify the results. This is from Wikipedia:

Quote
Many of the animals used in laboratory-based studies of homosexuality do not appear to spontaneously exhibit these tendencies often in the wild. Such behavior is often elicited and exaggerated by the researcher during experimentation through the destruction of a portion of brain tissue, or by exposing the animal to high levels of steroid hormones prenatally. Information gathered from these studies is limited when applied to spontaneously occurring same-sex behavior in animals outside of the laboratory.

I don't see why the percentage of homosexual intercourse would matter. Homosexuality exists in animal kigdom and is not a rare thing at all. Hence Manny Pacquiao is wrong. End.
956  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: February 29, 2016, 09:50:21 AM
Retards on the internet figure that since Trump retweeted “It is better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep”, a quote attributed to Benito Mussolini, this proves that Trump is a fascist.

Well, Adolf Hitler warned against smoking, I guess that makes millions of us today Nazis.

Well the point of this was to see Trump retweeting anything without caring about the sources or the true meaning. It worked. Though it doesn't proof he's a fascist, just a bit stupid.

Only total retards would believe that Benito Mussolini was the first or the last to come up with that wisdom or a very close variation. Revolutionaries and generals have been saying this forever.

Doesn't matter, the quote is worldwide known to be attributed to him.

Which means Trump either retweeted it without caring about who said it (which is important and shows how careless he would be) or knowing who said it (which wouldn't prove anything in my opinion as the quote is interesting in itself even if Mussolini said it). Something was proved here, but what? ^^
957  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay marriage will destabilise family life on: February 29, 2016, 09:47:59 AM
I don't understand how gay marriage can destabilise family life? They can't have kids so I don't see chat family they could destabilise...
Am I missing something here?

I don't have anything against LGBT population, but this is evident that someone pushing their rights as main question everywhere. Agenda exist.
They already have all major rights as we all others have.
Why all others must accept changing in definition "what is family" in order to please some sexual minorities?
What is next?

You don't have to change your definition and you can teach your kid whatever you want wtf are you talking about?

Gay marriage is just a right granted to gay people without taking any of your liberty! how could it be something wrong in any way?
958  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gay marriage will destabilise family life on: February 29, 2016, 09:44:17 AM
MORE GAY HATER'S  Cheesy Thick people..Do proper research when 2 gays have a child the child grows to do  better in life than most kids FACT.
So the question being asked is floored  Grin

So try again THICK STUPID gay haters

Oh it's you again. You're probably gay seeing how much energy you put in defending them...

Your claim without any kind of study means nothing. I don't see how 2 gays could raise a child better than 2 hetero. That makes no sense to me.
What gets said about GAYS hurts me MY SON IS GAY Grin he is such a good kid its unreal and
everyone who meets him always says how good he is..HE IS AN ASSET TO MANKIND NOT A BURDEN Grin

Now for the proof that kids tend to do better if there parents are gay Grin DO your research

some ways, gay parents may bring talents to the table that straight parents don't.

Gay parents "tend to be more motivated, more committed than heterosexual parents on average, because they chose to be parents," said Abbie Goldberg, a psychologist at Clark University in Massachusetts who researches gay and lesbian parenting. Gays and lesbians rarely become parents by accident, compared with an almost 50 percent accidental pregnancy rate among heterosexuals, Goldberg said. "That translates to greater commitment on average and more involvement."

And while research indicates that kids of gay parents show few differences in achievement, mental health, social functioning and other measures, these kids may have the advantage of open-mindedness, tolerance and role models for equitable relationships, according to some research. Not only that, but gays and lesbians are likely to provide homes for difficult-to-place children in the foster system, studies show. (Of course, this isn't to say that heterosexual parents can't bring these same qualities to the parenting table

when 2 gay couples have a child they have them to love to take care of them with all there hearts ..
a lot of straight couples have children by accident . I.E BROKEN HOMES..
Gays want that child because its not an accident they have planned for it..

Don't get me wrong straight couples who have children can bring up there children just as good..
I am just saying that gay couples tend to do better FACT with there children
BECAUSE THEY ARE WANTED

Which means gays are not better parents at all. It's just that considering how it's hard for gays to become parents, only those with a better situation and chosing to be parents will be.

In other words, what you're saying could also be: "parents adopting children are better parents". No they're not, it's just that they have a better situation and decide to be parents that's all.

The last time I voted was to join the common market (Europe) it was smaller at the time.
Supposed to be better for all of us, they lied, it was in favour of business mostly.
I never trusted politicians since, never voted for any of them

The next time I vote will be my second time, and I will vote for out... after that no more votes from me, as I despise the liars.

I agree, today EU is mostly for businesses. I'd love to believe in EU and I'm sure it's the future! But not as long as politicians are corrupted liars.
