121  Economy / Speculation / Re: I SMELL FOMO on: April 06, 2019, 08:36:04 PM
I believe that this sudden jump is legitimate, because in reality I think that things in the crypto ecosystem are not going as bad as the market seemed to be indicating. However, I am not so optimistic to think that an aggressive bullish trend has started, and we should be ready to see new ATH soon. Rather, I think that this jump was a readjustment in the face of very undervalued prices, and possibly the market will stabilize again for many weeks until the next jump.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the God of crypto........ on: April 06, 2019, 08:06:25 PM
I do not like the word "God", however it must be admitted that Bitcoin has become The Cryptocurrency par excellence, becoming the paradigm of what a cryptocurrency is, at least in the popular imagination. It is true that over the course of time perhaps some of its limitations have been revealed, and altcoins with the potential to overcome them have emerged, however for many years to come the bitcoin will remain the indispensable reference framework in a market as changing as this.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not yet an end for crypto on: April 05, 2019, 11:20:12 PM
Of course, the technological model implemented by cryptocurrency developers is here to stay, and nothing and no one can intervene in the advance of cryptology and blockchain to improve many of the processes where digital technology and data protection are involved. What apparently came to an end was the interest of many newbies and fools to become multimillionaires with great ease through the speculation in the crypto market.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: April 05, 2019, 09:56:15 PM
Precisely this week I was able to watch a case related to the issue live, and with the listing of the ERC20 token from WPP Energy through the Digifinex exchange. Although during the previous ICO it came to be quoted at around $0.10, at the time of going to market its price was quoted at $0.05 (the previous days had been trading for around $0.015 in forkdelta) but few minutes later collapsed to a terrible $ 0.0001 for a brief time. Now it has recovered a bit and is around $0.01, very far from the expectations of investors.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think the bear market is over for some coins on: April 04, 2019, 09:52:26 PM
Of course, it is logical that for many cryptos the bear market does not exist because they are newly created currencies and did not have to go through the catastrophic landslide from the end of 2017 until these days, because for old altcoins that came to lose more than 90% of their price during the crisis looks almost impossible to recover one day. But those that have been born in recent times have all the advantages to grow once they have been born in a more stable market and with more conscious and selective investors.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: March 31, 2019, 08:21:45 PM
No doubt we must be attentive to innovation, but maybe I think we are approaching the issue in the wrong way. Not only is it about finding projects (alts) that use the blockchain to develop apps, but I think we should even start to approach projects that develop technologies beyond the blockchain.

In my opinion, the blockchain has been a revolutionary invention, but it is only a first step towards something that now we can not even imagine but that an unknown innovator is already beginning to develop. We should also start looking at the horizon so that we do not jump too late, as happened to many with bitcoin.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Interesting ETH on: March 30, 2019, 06:58:31 PM
Actually I have not come to perceive an exceptionally different movement of the market in general, I do not even perceive that the ether is moving outside the margins that have been observed in recent months. It is true that our anxiety to observe an upward market is great, but this should not lead us to see false signals where there are none, because this could lead us to make erroneous and hasty decisions.
128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's prepare for the worst on: March 30, 2019, 12:15:04 AM
In fact, I think we should start to discard extreme volatility scenarios in which the price could move in one direction or another up to 50% in a matter of hours. In my opinion over the past few months the market, and especially the bitcoin has been consolidated in such a way that it could well behave quite similarly to fiat currencies, in which a 1% slip is usually already taken as high volatility.

Therefore, while it is true that in this uncertain market nothing is written, a catastrophic scenario below $1,000 seems as unlikely as a quick return to the $20,000 mark.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of coin are you waiting for on the pump? on: March 06, 2019, 12:46:04 AM
To be honest I have been a little discouraged after the big market crash and throughout 2018 I was quite far from the market. However, I still keep some amount of bitcoin and ether in case of an eventual pump. Out of these two big ones, I've been interested in Binance coin and the classic Doge, which seems to be waiting for a long life.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Somehow tired of bounty/airdrop (share your story on this thread) on: March 03, 2019, 06:48:22 PM
Undoubtedly participating in bounties has stopped being profitable for several months, in the same way that the entire sector seems to have entered into a deep crisis that makes foreseeable the disappearance of the ICOs as they have existed up to now; therefore, it is advisable to remain vigilant to observe what direction this business is heading once the bubble seems to have exploded and the euphoria for the ICOs seems to be a thing of the past.
131  Local / Mercado y Economía / Re: No sólo Bitcoin o Altcoins...Diversificación de tu Dinero. on: March 03, 2019, 05:25:37 PM

135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a religion on: February 21, 2019, 06:15:15 PM
In reality, those elements that you consider proper to a religion are no more than properties common to all human beings, when they cling to the fact that things can be better in adverse times.

There is a natural tendency in humans to cling to hope and become a defender of their positions, even if reality shows that things go in an opposite direction, and this also applies to many bitcoiners.
136  Economy / Speculation / Re: A chance for Bitcoin to rise! on: February 21, 2019, 05:48:48 PM
It is always positive to keep the hope that things can improve, but the nature of the markets is like this: continuous lateral movements that tend to turn into bulltraps for the overly optimistic, so it is always advisable to remain cautious in the face of these sudden moves of the market, especially when there do not seem to be suitable conditions to support them.
