i am staking with 10k strat, i could find several blocks day by day. But i could not find any blocks for the last 7 days. My wallet is unlocked ofcourse. Wallet is installed on raspberry pi. Is this usual? Should i expect more?

It is very difficult. You need to buy more coins to stake because 1% inflation rate is extremely low. I agree. 10k Stratis is very little to stake, try to build up your stack to at least 50k and it will be more worth it. However, as the price of Stratis rises, that 0.44 coins a day could add up to a decent amount of money. |

You mentioned top chinese exchanges would allow for users to participate on the crowdsale. The ones you announced are not top tier and some might even be unknown to most people. Also the testnet - Sparknet - will be released a couple of months after the crowdsale. Meaning the real thing is months away. That's a lot of time in crypto. What if one of those exchanges runs away with funds or shuts down?
The impact on your crowdsale will be pretty big. You're basically betting none of those exchanges will scam/shut down/get hacked while you don't release the mainnet. That's risky.
One more question. Crowdsale will only have 51% of the tokens. Is there any sort of contract that early founders agreed upon saying they won't sell say, for the first 2 years or something like that? Is there anything keeping them from dumping since the beginning?
The 51% of tokens reserved for the ICO is what worries me about the Qtum project. It might end up being oversold with all the hype it is receiving. Also, all these Angel backers holding Qtums dirt cheap can drop the bomb anytime. The ICO being hosted on multiple unknown Chinese exchanges is also a turn off. |

Trademark, while you are a legendary member so automatically everything you say is true and valid and it would be ridiculous for a lowly member such as me to question you, the facts of my statement still stand. Hence since the facts pass the validity test they cannot be considered ridiculous.
I just spend the last 15 minutes browsing through the top 100 wallets on the Strais Block explorer, thinking maybe I was wrong in my assesment. However, the #100 wallet is roughly 189k coins, so we can assume that the 200k wallets are the top 100.
If you look at them, there are lots and lots that are staking, which is great for the network. However, as my previous statement stands, there are very few wallets that are consistently adding more stratis to their wallet besides the staking rewards. I would put the number at less than 5 wallets that were consistently adding stratis to their wallet every so often.
The volume we see on the exchanges is just stratis being traded back and forth. Sorry to break it to you sir ( or mam) but, in the last 24 hours on Poloneix there has been 1.3 million stratis exchanged.
Those 1.3 million stratis have not gone to the top 100 rich list wallets from what can be seen on the block explorer.
Could be the whales keep them in exchanges, and there are indeed 4 or 5 people with GIANT wallets on exchanges.
Or there could be alot of people trading modest amounts of stratis.
10 apples traded between 5 people or 100 people is still 10 apples at the end of the day.
Give it up already man. Your original post you talked about bots with no owners manipulating the market and whales don't exist and I called you out on it. That's it. Also, quit bringing up my bitcointalk rank, it has nothing to do with my replies or anyone elses. The only time we will see real, non bot growth for stratis is when real people invest in it. Until then these are not "whales forcing the week hands out". Look at the rich list chart on the stratis blochain, unless you think the "whales" are the people with 20k coins, MOST large ( 200k+) wallets are NOT changing in size.

Its just market supression to force people to pay a penalty if they cash out. I honestly expect based on all the circumstances and market trend, for Stratis to break 18-22k Satoshi at the very minimum the next bull run. Once their products are on the marketplace and everything is rolling, this could very well, all shilling aside, be the very next 40x coin this year (even though it already did a 13-16x). Stratis is very well poised to be the next big heartbreak for many. Everyone doubted, no one saw it coming, thats what makes it perfect for only a select few to profit huge on this. You need strong hands to lift heavy stacks of cash, am I right?
We hit 8k again, last dump was caused by panic fishes, after whales got full bag, the price is going up again. We need to know we can be a top 5 because we have the most innovative tech tested before bitcoin implementation. Yeah, it was the whales eating up the little guppies, which is good in my eyes. We need all the weak links to move on before we can reach the Stratosphere. No need for the extra baggage. |

Qtum devs should rethink the ICO process. They should stick with only one source of participating which should be through the official website. Forget about all the Chinese exchanges. Since only 51% of the tokens will be offered during the ICO, there's a possibility of the exchanges purchasing up many of the tokens to resell at a higher price. Also, many of us have never heard of those exchanges.

It's based on an average of a daily snapshot of your amount I see. Seems like a lot of work for the dev team to do it that way but it's a fair method. Thanks. |
