Good to see this thread kicking again even though the dev is MIA at the moment. Block 50,000 is coming up soon, let's see if the dev ends POW or reduces the rewards. There will be another update later in the week to address some technical things.
One thing that has been brought up to us, is a few users want to shorten the POW time-frame. Does anyone else have an opinion for, or against this?
Dev, what's the verdict on this? We are still working out the specifics of whether to completely end POW, or just lower the rewards dramatically. Whichever choice we pick, it will be occurring at or around block 50,000. I will update you guys when a decision has been made. |

Apologies for the delay in posting. Some things have happened that I believe require a bit of a course correction for the project. Its nothing for anyone to worry about, its a positive thing - but neither is it something to get uber excited about. However, if we go this route I believe coin/project will gain much more than it loses. Ill post more information in a day or two, just wanted to give a heads up.  Thanks for the update Dev! Not sure what's going on with Disk. A part of me tells me it's probably dead but if you look at the richlist, the top wallets are still staking and #4 is increasing drastically every day. I kind of think the dev's silence is part of his dark plans to accumulate Disks cheap and then he will begin to release his master plan. Or maybe I'm just in denial and nuts. Haha. Either way, at the current price, it's better to just hold and see what happens.

Not sure why people keep saying the more btc that gets dumped into waves, the higher the price of each wave will be. Yes, that is maybe true but if you guys really think each wave is worth $1 minimum, wouldn't having more waves be better? The higher the price of each wave is when launched, the harder it is to make a nice profit on it. It is much easier for the price of a coin to double or triple from 1 cent than from 1 dollar. Anyways, that's my opinion and there's really nothing anyone can do about people investing in waves. It is what it is. Good luck all.

whoever grabbed some at 12-13 satoshi was lucky...I don't think its going down that low again.
At these low prices, it's worth gambling on DISK. I originally sold some when it was first on Yobit for 1000 sats. If it heads back up around that area or higher, you'll end up with more than 30x your money. Good luck guys. |
