I think a few weeks back, "HunterMinerCrafter" was one of the users who extensively made good tests and found out bugs in the code.
How about we invite him again here to test the SuperNode architecture. This will greatly improve the quality/and quantity of tests being run. We, as a community (or Lannister, if he is around) could donate him some amount (in terms of BTC or XEL) for his help.
If everyone, and HunterMinerCrafter would be okay with that ?

It's a big loss (elastic-project.com). If there is something that you (@EK) can do to retrive content of this site that would be nice.
It made me realize that we really need a forum (where there could be also guides and explanations like on wiki). So I'll stand on my head to bring forum to live soon.
Google Cache? I also realized that the site is down ... however I have no access or anything to it. Maybe this is the best time for someone to create a good infrastructure (ideally github hosted site) and create a beautiful website and maintain it. Actually, best would be someone who is okay with becoming the responsible leader? I mean it's a community project, maybe someone wants to officially make this thing public. I am just coding the core client for the community  It's the communitys job to do something with it, I'd say! Not sure how to proceed here correctly, maybe a vote? Maybe a foundation? It's just that I don't want to decide anything, I don't even want to manage anything. I am a coder, not a leader. I'll host a forum most probably based on Discourse project ( http://www.discourse.org/ ) so there will be no need to github share as it's already open. In fact our blockchain explorer is also open source!  Most concers are about content. Forum is serious it can not fall. If I will host a forum I'll need a help from community (this includes moderating (time) and finances (money) to pay the bill for server). I can easily host it by myself for few months to year but later my wife will kill me if she find out your wife will not kill you now. Testnet 1.0.3 ist live. Steps: 1. Delete the entire elastic_test_db/ folder. The old DB will fail! 2. Update to the current state: git stash; git pull3. Compile: mvn clean compile package4. Run: mvn exec:javaNow go ahead and destroy it! will test this. thank you for the updates. |

Despite all these dramas， Qtum is still one of the most innovative and promising platforms in 2017.
if the development team can delivery the project on time, then Qtum will be the first POS Smart Contact platform with compatible with EVM.
and personally i think the UTXO model has more flexibility than account model. that's maybe some advantage of Qtum project.
and i like the "Go Mobile" strategy. No one want to use the DAPP in their PC computer.

In order to run the wallet should I run a virtual box with a linux distro?
I am using windows 8.1
I tried to Docker Pull ( https://hub.docker.com/r/ordinarydude/elastic-docker/) to Windows 10 I couldn't connect to Web UI on 6876 port. Another @EK mentionedit: i figured out to problem, dockerfile hadn't publish port, it has expose port. If you are using windows, use this command;
docker run -p 6876:6876 ordinarydude/elastic-docker

Qtum have big potential.
if the project can be released in 2017, this will be big.

if nothing goes wrong, there were a couple promising icos recently but qtum is probably going to be the most successful crypto since ethereum.
why you are whoring yourself for a project with a scammer as the ceo is beyond me. This is nothing and will amount to nothing as soon as he dumps out his free coins. Been warned. The business world is far more complicated than you think it is supposed to be, not only qtum's. Things can go wrong with this project, not saying this won't go wrong. finally there are some reasonable and good input in this thread. |
