can you give me more info about that 40MB blocksize?
is that the big blocksize proposed by bitcoin chief scientist Gavin Anderson?
For BitTorrent, the biggest blocksize is 32M, how can we ensure that 40M blocksize?
how can let people use this coin? in the darknet? Grin

Thanks!
2x the 20mb original proposed for btc.  Gavin's proposal was for a sliding range/dynamic block size that increases over time.

but can we ensure that 40MB blocksize be Error free transmission with current Internet bandwidth by P2P node?

i know BitTorrent is cutting big file to many smaller files,,and the maximal MB for a file is 32MB after been cut?

Thank you for your patience.
The actual block size doesn't present a big issue for transmission...the P2P networking stack in Bitcoin uses a 5MB receive buffer and a 1MB send buffer IIRC.

What is a issue is processing time, especially with PoS coin.  But, there are tweaks that can be done to optimize this, and I know what they are Wink

Of course, this is only problem if coin is used with a lot of transaction volume.  No alt coin that I know of has even begun to approach issues with the normal 1MB block size or get into the same ballpark as bitcoin.  Maybe that will change Cheesy

Thanks for the respond and patience.

really nice to know some innovative works are been down by CRAVE.

Cheers. Smiley

ETA on pimped out OP for "credibility" and eye candy? Cheesy

Also, great job on the new releases dev!
I just mined this for the lulz, but I'm actually surprised and impressed.

It's not a copy and paste coin. would like to what will happen later.

Reading the source code now.

#1 bitches hottest of the hot

it's a nice coin with limited total supply.
if dev team has some nice plan for this, then it will become popular for sure.

March 18-19th, 2015 - Marketing Updates

1.) Here is an Overview from our pitch deck for "HOW tilepay WORKS". Feedback is appreciated.

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

that's really a nice explain how Tilecoin works and data marketplace works.

Which type of data can be uploaded to that decentralized data marketplace?

such as environmental data?

or anonymous healthy data can help pharmaceuticals company and insurance industry make a better decision?

or real time Traffic situation data can help government make a better city planning?

or Virus sensor can detect and calculate the current risk coefficient of next big epidemic disease?

or water pollution sensor in a lake or river can help water company know the real time pollution?

 Smiley

Exciting about the future of Tilepay and the  first Worldclass decentralized IoT data marketplace.
What i see is the the real value and future of the blockchain technology.

prefer have our own platform rather than based on XCP platform.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LDOGE] LiteDoge - very currency many coin - lite version of dogecoin on: March 18, 2015, 01:06:38 AM
with the pos staking weighted the way tis, the largest wallets will have a much greater probability of finding blocks and therefore their % of coins owned will always increase while smaller holders % of supply will always decrease........the ultimate in the rich getting richer Smiley

so any suckers buying in a small holding will ultimately lose out to the larger holders.

not that i don't think finding set block by pos isn't a way forward, just in this design its a fail.
nope

nope what? nope you can't read? nope you forgot your toothbrush? or nope your probability of finding a block isn't your weight v network weight?
Sour grapes
Nope about this "not that i don't think finding set block by pos isn't a way forward, just in this design its a fail."
It is actually a good design. You need to think about it instead of just saying things.

Tell me what you don't like.
You don't like that blocks are found with pos 2.0 algo which is much more secure.
or you don't like that the rewards are like mining rewards.

I do not see why you are arguing about people with more coins will find more blocks. The reason they find more blocks and the reason they deserve to find more blocks is because they have a bigger stake in this and they will not want their coins to lose value by doing bad things.
Proof of stake is a form of mining. Blocks rewards are here to give people an incentive to process transactions. When they find a block they get paid for it.

Think of it as the payment protocol that it is. And not as the get rich quick scheme that you want it to be.

agree with this. Smiley

March 16-17th, 2015 - Development Updates

We will keep you posted on the Counterparty downtime once again.

1.) This is a community question.
1.1) Would you like for us to convert existing TilecoinX to our platform?
1.2) How many other Counterparty assets/tokens does everyone have?

2.) We will be traveling to San Francisco for meetings in the next few weeks. We can only publish joint press releases once the paperwork and details are signed. VERY VERY VERY excited!

3.) Backup any TILECOINX via https://counterwallet.io if you do not feel comfortable having TileCoinX in your local wallet until we release the next version with the private key backup view.

4.) How to use Private Key to import BTC funds from external address to Counterwallet address?
https://counterparty.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000120686-how-to-use-private-key-to-import-btc-funds-from-external-address-to-counterwallet-address-

5.) Cold storage of Counterparty assets (& BTC) using Armory & Counterwallet
https://counterparty.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000004858-cold-storage-of-counterparty-assets-btc-using-armory-counterwallet

Regards,
ASIC-8Tile

Bter.com still holds a large majority of the TILECOINX (a large % belonging to 'angel investors'): https://www.blockscan.com/address/14e3NAm3oNE2Xqvu9SzndsxvVRj9vbwZ9C. This leaves us with about 20 million XTC in circulation: https://www.blockscan.com/address/16iWzf8NydPZBH7QmPWdF4o5uhQ4ow9RY4. I assume not many people holding a lot of XTC if we look at current distribution (not including Bter.com): https://www.blockscan.com/assetholders?q=TILECOINX (nothing to fear).

Enjoy the San Francisco trip, expecting BIG BIG BIG things here for Tilepay in the next few weeks. Smiley

Take it easy.

Will keep support tilecoin for 10 years. Smiley
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XTC] TileCoin| IoT (Internet of Things) bitcoin blockchain - ĐApp on: March 16, 2015, 03:43:37 PM
can i transfer xtc to any xcp adress?

sure!
When you transfer 1 xtc to XCP address, it will become 1 XCP. Smiley

that's will not happen. Grin

but we can hope tilecoin become more valuable later.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XTC] TileCoin| IoT (Internet of Things) bitcoin blockchain - ĐApp on: March 15, 2015, 12:41:00 PM
