If you are a good investor and a long term holder, then you would know this is the right time to buy more as the market is still on bearish zone. At this moment, it would be better one accumulates more bitcoin while waiting for the bull run so as to make more profits. I think the next bull run is near and possibly a $40k should be the next ath for bitcoin.

It took almost 3 years for BTC to go from 4k to 69K but it took only one hour to crash 50% from that price. BTC market can fall in a very fearful pace. It will not give you the time to react according to the market situation. You will be lucky if you can get out right before the crash. Most of the time our high expectation causes problem for our trade and we do not book profits.

We are very near and it's not hard to dump 2500$ more to full fill your prediction. But will you buy if BTC hit that level? I think your minds will tell you 10k is inevitable now so wait for it to go down and you missed the train. Do not wait forever. Start doing DCA because it is the idea time to do that. You will be ahead of many investors who have been doing DCA from post 50k.

everythings looks perfect right now. I think this was necessary to get rid of those moon boy and scam project that was already creating liquidity gap for their mismanagement of uses funds. There are few more centralized entity that should be washed up for the greater good of BTC and decentralization. I am certain that we will get a better price action in BTC if those institutions back off.

SBF is a sick person and he is just trying to making story to get people sympathy. Why would someone invest in a exchange that is manipulated in technology and bankrupted. FTX is gone with investors money and that is the truth we have to accept. One thing the authority can do is seize SBF's all the wealth and company share and compensate affected investors.

In general BTC stay in a bear market and find its bottom next year of the bull season. Another indicator is when most of the people will say BTC is scam and many will thinking about quite the industry then BTC market find its bottom. I think another major event can crash the price to another 40% so that rest of the investors take a major shock and sell off their holding in panic.

So you really think this was an accident? Those exchanges just share those funds with each other to take a snapshot of this proof of reserve. They just can not admit it in public so they have said it was an accident. No one sends 320k ETH worth 400M in an accident because for big transactions those exchanges must have a multi-signature that needs to be approved by a few people.

The dependecy of CEX will never fade away. No matter how things screed people will use CEX again. How people can resist so much service getting from one place. Its human nature that they wants everything in a easy way and secure way. It's also human nature that they forget their past experience very quickly. So just stop panicking and be more focused on the market.

In a long term prospective this price is nothing. Just think there is only 21M BTC for 8B people on the earth. Most people on the earth will never be able to get 1 BTC. I think current price is still manageable for many people so if you are getting it in a lower price then why not filling your bags instead of complaining. BTC could go below 10k but it will gradually increase in price before next halving.

Genesis is crumbling and refuse to show their proof of reserve. If this company also file bankruptcy then we can see below 10k level. This matter is so serious because Genesis is the biggest holder of BTC and most of the institution use this platform to get interest over their BTC. This company has exposure to FTX so it is clear that they are not in a good shape right now. So i am not certain about your opinion.

This can not be called a hack. It's a seizure that Govt did to get all those funds. I really have doubt that these funds will ever be sent to their real owners. This event happens so quickly that I think they were in a rush that someone else will take control of the funds. If they had really good intentions here they would have just keep all those funds in their original forms instead of converting them to other cryptos.

I know the king will be dethroned one day but I do believe it will not be this time. Binance has a strong reserve and its market cap is so big that it would take a few weeks for all the users to drain the whole exchange. If something like this really happens it will be a good thing for the overall crypto industry. These exchanges are behind market-making and manipulation. We need totally decentralized space.

If you have any skills then there will always be some kind of work for you. You should just looking for work based on your skills. Without any skills you can not work in market place and without any work you will not be able to earn anything without investment. I'd like to see smart people here  Im highly educated and i have no tolerance to any nonsense silly people. For me it's clear what's going on FTX is important for them to give excuse and regulate crypto so that they can have much control over it. All this looks pre planned. SBF donate for Bidens election campaign, Alameda CEO's dad works in SEC so she has direct connect with them too. SBF's mother was congress campaign manager. For those people who had been waiting up for some time on buying out cheap, then having some purchasing as of this time wont really be that a bad idea.
Sorry for those who had on futures and going for long.For sure they had been liquidated.
I still do not think this is the lowest point in this bear season. BTC moves sideways from where it is now. Lowest bottom don't stayed for longer. Its a quick wick in the candle stick and then market just start recovering. I am still doing DCA in this market and will do till it hit 12k. Below that i just stop buying because that is the lowest low for me in this bear season. |

You are mostly correct but i have few points:
1- I think that 60% of FTX users will go to trade on binance anyway. Its the best alternative. 20% will leave crypto because of being broke, 20% will chose coinbase, bybit etc. In the case where binance buys FTX i guess that not all FTX users would stay. So positive impact of not buying FTX (bigger decentralization) is not as strong as it may seams.
2- top 2 biggest crypto exchange just go bust. users will be left without founds. Its possible that we will see a "bank run" and collapse of other institutes. I have reduced my liquidity on exchanges by half. Many will do the same. Most likely volumes will go down, volatility. It will take years to recover trust. If binance would help FTX we, as industry, would recover much faster - unless FTX would drag the binance to the bottom with it
FTX, Binance its all the same. All of them are not transparent about their reserve assets. With fake volume and market manipulation these exchanges earned millions of dollars but they can not show their full balance sheet to the community. We saw how FTT fall from 22$ to almost 0$. This all happens because of greed and mismanagement. It's time for all those exchange to implement proof of reserve so that same things never happens again. |

When a market has lots of strong competitors it stays health. If one exchange rules them all it will not be good for the industry. After seeing what CZ done to FTX i can not imagine what more he could do to other exchanges. He is very cleaver and destroying his rival one by one. People is in panic mode so its obvious they will withdraw all of their funds but it seems FTX failed to show enough response to cool down everything.

November will be sideways i think. People do not have money to buy more BTC so i am not expecting any volume into the market. There is not any bad news for now so not expecting any sell off either. I do not see any major events in this month either so it will be mostly sideway. BTC will surely show major volatile move in both ways before moving upward. BTC move usually that way.

You are welcome to bitcointalk. I just want to say to all the members that will read this that a bear market doesn't say anything about your investment. In the long term you are going to reap profits from the coin you have selected, especially if your coin is a well established one with developers with experience and passion for crypto evolvement.
There are some coins that do not reach all-time-high after bitcoin hit all-time-high in 2021. People should be careful, those that invested on some altcoins when their price was very high may not achieve the aim, expecting the price to increase and reach the price when they invested it, they may be disappointed after they have waited for years, expecting the coins to reach the price when they invested on it but remain unrealized loss when bitcoin reach all-time-high. I will advice people to invest in bitcoin. That's why we should use diversification methods when investing in altcoins. If I invest in 10 altcoins then there is a chance that 3 of them will cross their all-time high. Most of the altcoin is 98% down so only 3 projects reaching in target can recover all the losses. It is a risky part so if someone wants to stay safe they should have stayed in BTC only as its history of breaking ATH is consistent. |
