@DudeAtWork420:
It really looks that you are staking alright, going by the tooltip display. I don't think I have *ever* checked my staking status via getinfo...
About not having any stake now that 11 days have already passed: Difficulty is sky high with HyperStake. This is a community of staking fanatics & hoarders (and I love them all), so there is a lot of competition to hit a stake. A ~4K block size, on average, will probably take well over 30 days to hit a stake!
Most people have by now sized their blocks around 10K and upwards, though some are salmon, and picked the opposite tactic, many tiny blocks (vs just a few larger ones).
Happy Staking!
Yes it could take quite some time to hit a stake at that size, with only once chance (block) at it. GetInfo should show as staking active. It concerns me that it is not showing that, and honestly I trust it more than i trust the icon. They are based on different methods to determine whether the wallet is hashing, and I believe my method (the one in get info) is the most solid of the two. Honestly I am not quite sure what to say about it. I will do some thinking. Edit: after doing some testing, it is possible that when you hit getinfo that it can return "staking not active" when it is in fact staking. If you hit getinfo for the fraction of a second before your wallet has began hashing on the current network block, then it will say staking not active. I got my wallet to say that when i kept hitting getinfo repeatedly until it got that result. Try enter it a few more times. I think your staking is in fact active. Should I throw several 5000 blocks at it or smaller at 1000, with a total of 10,000-20,000? You say, most are at 10K and upward. Right, the fact I have it sent at 4290 I need to wait until a block hits something that high, if it was seperate at 250 or 500 per block, I'd already be staking....is that correct?

Made it back, attempted the getinfo trick...nothing...so I decided to cclistcoins and get this -
[ { "blockIndex" : 1, "Value" : 4290.99000000, "Confirmations" : 10838, "Age (days)" : 11.45540509, "Weight" : 0, "Potential Stake" : 1000.00000000 } ]
Shows the age to be correct, I think it has to do with maturity. I'll attempt to send over several blocks of different amounts and see what i come up with. Wait this out see what happens? Oh, well if not....I tried! lol
I am fairly certain that your wallet is staking, but the staking status code in getinfo isn't quite perfect. The other staking indicator (the laser beam) is showing that your wallet is staking, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I will look into the code and see if I can prefect this. If you aren't totally convince, I can compile you a wallet that will print your stake hashes in the debug log so that you can double check it. I'll give it a month or two, see what happens.... it was only 4290 not like the end of the world.

I've got to run to the pool store and get some cleaning equipment, I'll ponder on it while I'm gone. If you think of something let me know.

@DudeAtWork420: That might actually be a benign artifact of the awesome staking powers in the HyperStake wallet. The screenshot you took looks to me that you are staking (see the staking icon in the main wallet dialog page). Since the wallet has an energy saving feature that produces stake hashes by short bursts of processing (as opposed to non-stop hashing), it might be that getinfo misrepresents this energy-saving state as not staking... Wish I could check it out myself. No mature coins here at the moment If so, why am I at 11 days with nothing? Do you have a reserve balance in your configuration file? { "reserve" : false, "amount" : 0.00000000 }

I deposited 4291 around 11 days ago, nothing is staking....."getinfo" states "Not staking", so how does one get the coins to stake? All the other pos auto stake, does this not? Should have started at 8-9 days right?
If your wallet is encrypted, then you need to unlock for staking. If it is sync'ed, you should be in staking mode by now. You would think, but it's not. Is it because I sent 4290 all at once? http://postimg.org/image/pp4wxy89l/I would be willing to guess that you coins are not older then 8.8 days. The deposit was made on 6/6/2015 today is 6/17/2015....11 days.

OK, so I've staked 4291 Hyper for 8 days, states it's Minting now...I've noticed that you should use 4500 minimal, does a chart exist showing how long to wait and how many coins you will average in staking? Basically, I'm confused.
Best place to look is at hyp.presstab.pw, it will give you a good example of what is currently staking. Look at the weight chart and see what the typical weight staking is (looks like 150k is typical). Weight is approximately equal to the age of your coin block multiplied by the amount of your coin block. When you click into an individual block (click a block hash or height, or go to the block page) you will see the individual stats on that stake. Also make sure you are talking about HYP/HyperStake not HYPER/HyperCoin. Yes, thank you...that is exactly what I'm looking for. HYP, yes..I'll keep that in mind. Thank you again, this is awesome.

New to SED, and wanted to know...should I just wait for the new updated wallet or go ahead and get this current wallet? I'd like to buy while low, and see what it can do at 300% like you state. Do you have an ETA?

Pure Bliss Foundation It's the small things! Our foundation was set up by Pure Bliss Cleaning to offer a solution to a problem that was seen in the home/office cleaning industry. The owner noticed people called often to ask for discounts due to illness or just being elderly on a fixed income. So, the owner decided to start a foundation to support people in need. With our minds together, we came up with the Pure Bliss Foundation. With two streams of income. One, from Pure Bliss Cleaning from Tulsa, OK, offering 5% from every job performed. Two, we've set up an account on Scrypt.cc allowing people all over the world to help fund our program by purchasing cloud mining contracts for the Pure Bliss Foundation. This is everyone's way of being able to give directly to those in need. It's the little things we do in life. Please visit http://pureblissfoundation.zohosites.com/ for more information.
