Can you buy upgrades for the tanks? Is the game pure luck or is there skill involved?

Any game involving bitcoins can be interesting  Tongue

100% skill involved. You have to destroy the other players tanks to grab their bitcoins.

In that case it seems like a fun idea. I would deposit and play if the game becomes active.

Thanks for you interest if this project got enough vote we will start working .

Games like this are easy to hack/exploit if they are written wrong.

I don't think there is anything to hack or exploit in this game

Where there is a will, there is a way... Someone will always try to game your system in an effort to automate or win as much as possible.

Take flappy bird, probably not a good idea, there's already a few flappy game beaters out there, check out Hackday for an example:
http://hackaday.com/2014/07/27/an-automated-flappy-bird-player/

You're going to want to put in something that is difficult to game against with a camera, an fpga board, and someone with way too much time on their hands.

My suggestion to bit-lottery for example was to using something from the blockchain as part of his game, you may want to consider something unique to keep people from autoplaying your games to win with an element of randomness at a gameplay level not determine by pixel collisions, etc.

Thanks for your great response.
Flappy Bird can be attacked by bots.

What about match 3 games like candy crush?
Zuma deluxe too?

Can you pay 0.01 BTC per week for this job?
1394  Other / Meta / Re: Avatars please! on: September 05, 2014, 02:16:22 PM
This question never gets old! (And never satisfactorily answered as well) :> it's supposed to be back with the new forum software which is being developed from sometime...

How much time it will take ?
I don't it will take a week or more
1395  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Flappy Bird Game on: September 05, 2014, 09:58:51 AM
I have not tried playing flappy bird cause it looks boring.
Maybe a Super Mario like game would be more interesting and there are hidden coins on the blocks and bonus coins if the princess will be saved. Tongue

Yes now I am looking forward to use Zuma Deluxe game.

Oh okay, that is better IMO. Cheesy

Someone said that this game can be attacked by using bots

Or set a score to beat.
If you beat it you will get double of btc.

This is better.
It can be done automatically and instantly, and the players don't need to worry about "insiders faking the highscores" (I am just saying).

Some people said that Flappy Bird game can be cheated by bots.So I am declining this. What about Candy Crush (match 3 game)
1398  Economy / Gambling / [CONCEPT] Bitcoin Candy Crush Game on: September 04, 2014, 02:58:33 PM
After coming from flappybird, doodlejump and Zuma deluxe. Now I came to Candy Crush Match 3 game.I hope that no bot can attack on it.Its 100 skill based game.

Working of Game
It will be a simple candy crush game.Users have to reach the specified score which will depend upon their bet. There will be slots
for the users depends upon the deposit. There will be three slots
Slot 1 -
Deposits <0.002 BTC
If users reach the score and win the game they will get 60% of their deposits

Slot 2-
Deposits <0.01 BTC
If users win they will get 80% of their deposits

Slot 2 -
Deposits <0.1 BTC
If users win they will get 95 % of their deposits

Please suggest me something regarding this project. Please don't demoralize me
1399  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Gaming Discussion on: September 04, 2014, 02:26:22 PM
Why do you consider rock-paper-scissors a skill game?
It is mainly luck based IMO, though if it is played face to face, you may be able to read your opponent's gesture and predict his movement.
Because if you play hundreds of games, a skilled player player can reliably hold an advantage over a less skilled player -- by reasoning what are thinking based on the move history. I have a friend who I played a couple thousand games with online, (iteratively) and he was able to consistently beat me ~35 to ~40% of the time.

But anyway, the same applies to lots of skill games that involve exploiting human weakness, and where a perfect bot will make no money.

Quote
When I think about skill games, I immediately think of games like chess and backgammon, which people have created extremely powerful bots...

Yeah, those games are really hard to gamble with -- even if it's not for bots, it's for the difference in peoples skills, people pretending to be worse than they are (losing to their own shill accounts if needbe), and winning high stake games etc.

Candy Crush game is the game in which bots can't attack
