It is better to keep your invoices with you, we don't know when we need it. I have kept all my transaction history in a CSV format for a safer side.

Why don't you buy through some particular exchange instead of any member? Nowadays you can find many reputed exchanges are there in the market like Binance, hitbtc, CoinSwitch, Kucoin, etc. It is always good to invest your money through some trusted exchange rather than a human being. Be cautious and happy trading:)

I don't join many bounties, sometimes when I get time I join. If you are joining the real program then obviously we will get your reward. But nowadays many of the bounty programs don't pay a single token.

Before trust, anyone or any exchange just reverify from your side. If you are n't sure about the exchange just trade for a small amount and see if it works for you then you can invest further.

You can join bounty programs but just make sure that you are joining the real program not the fake one because most of the bounties are fake, so before joining any first go through their official website. You can get so many signature campaigns are there in this forum but first acquire some knowledge. Go to their website, do some research then you will have more clarification about the project. It is good that you are ready to do hard work, all the best for your journey.

As per my knowledge, I know mining takes a lot of time and effort. For all cryptocurrencies, you have to use different algorithms and the most difficult thing is while releasing the blocks.so instead of mining, you can buy some coins with some low amount not only BTC you can buy alt coins as well and hold for the long term to earn some profit.

Complete novice here. I have accounts on Binance, eToro, and Coinbase(pro). I'm looking to cut costs and purchase coins cheaply. I'll be hodling, not trading. If I understand correctly(based on the above), eToro may be the cheapest way to buy some bitcoin. Is it possible to purchase on eToro and then immediately (once showing on eToro account) transfer to my personal wallet? Based on their site, I couldn't understand specifically if that is possible.
Thanks in advance.
According to you if you want to buy a coin cheaply then you can buy some small amount of coins or the coin which has some low-value so if you lose at any point you are n't in a big loss. If you are asking about any particular exchange and you don't understand how they are system works then please contact their support team for better clarifications.

You have explained it very clearly so if someone is very new to this community they can also aware of such kinds of scams. Also, you can add the fake coin and ICO which has done by some shady tokens, fake wallets.

Segwit addresses don't provide any more security, the purpose is to reduce fees for transactions. The least secure address is one that is hosted by someone other than you, i.e. a custodial wallet or an exchange. I say that because they have a greater risk of being hacked. Of course this assumes that you are versed and capable of storing your private information in a private and secure way.
Thank, for your feedback and explanation about fees, I will try to use some noncustodial exchange to receive my coins on my own address. Your fund security depends on how you backup your wallet (its private key/ mnemonic seeds) and how your wallet backups work smoothly. How you keep your backups safely from threats of water, fire, and thieves (both off-line and online). You can run wallet on your phones or computers but the vital step is backup. If you don't have backup, when you lost your devices or they get broken, you will lose bitcoin in your wallet. Only download and upgrade wallet from official legit sites, not phishing ones. Example: Electrum vulnerability allows arbitrary messages, phishingThere are some SPV wallet like Electrum, that gives you extra security by extending seeds (their default seeds is 12, but you can extend more). If you intend to run your wallet on mobile devices, I advice you to visit official site and get link to their apps for your OS. Don't search for wallet apps on Stores because it will put you under higher risks of fake apps in the air. Maybe you are not aware of this risk before reading my post. Yes, I was aware but I wasn't knowing about the extending seeds and also the wallet backup thing. Thank you so much for explaining to me in such an easy and informative way.

These days the most important thing is to get some trustable and hassle-free exchange. If you want to convert then most of the exchange doesn't ask KYC but if buying through credit/debit card the verification is a must on every exchange. So choose according to your preferred coins.

All exchanges have different setups. If you are buying through fiat the fee always varies from exchange to exchange. Before paying please ensure you are aware of the fees. If you are n't sure about the particular exchange then buy a small amount, if you are satisfied then go for a higher amount.
