A serious question to the devs: is EMC2 protected against the Time Warp Exploit?

I want this to be right after Epoch 2. But it looks like I am alone.
Why would you want it to be right after the epoche? Don't see an upside Clear time to prepare people. The coin would have halved, so we can do more of a big announcement. Like "New Algo, We Just Halved, This person won". They are doing community input on this though. As a miner, switching the algo sooner rather than later would be awesome. As somebody who wishes everything to go well and maximise the announcement, at the end of the Epoch might be nice. Well I know what you mean but the problem is that a lot of devs are planning to switch to X11 ASAP so in order to get some of that "X11" hype it must happen fast. This week would be best (if the Devs are ready till then) Quick switch would also show every one that Einsteinium has great devs Hey Snoop, Were not "changing" algos for "hype" EMC2 has no need for X11 fabricated hype to get where its going. We will prevail over 99% of the other coins out there in due time, its science! lol! But yes were working on it now and Einsteinium really does have some of the best devs out here! Im dont mean pump and dump hype! dont get me wrong more marketing hype so people hear about the concept and done some research! Obviously it's gonna start some price swings but it will settle on a higher level after that (Basically like Hiro, which was hyped because people started realizing its a good coin) Hey bud, My bad. Good morning Einsteinimites. Just wanted to give you guys a quick update on whats been going on over the last day or so. As many of you know, we just completed our first round of voting and finally have our first winner to make a donation to. His name is Dr. Walter Moss and you can get more info on what he does and who he is here: https://experiment.com/projects/can-viral-molecular-structures-cause-cancerWe have been in contact with Dr. Moss and experiment.com to figure out how were going to make the donation, they actually both tweeted Christine yesterday regarding Einsteinium and I hope to have some news for you guys within the next few days on how the handover will happen. I also want to add that while talking to Dr. Moss the idea came up of him possibly being a scientific adviser to the foundation. I'll keep my fingers crossed but it looks good so far. Were really excited about the prospect of working with experiment.com for future projects as well. This is the first step in the right direction and we can only do more from here on in! X11... As far as I can tell were still tweaking and testing with X11. I don't have to much info for you regarding this but as soon as I do you'll all be the first to know! @Skysmile. Can you please contact us via PM with any issues you have regarding the translation of the site. Yes we did. It feels amazing to be able to partake in this. Being here in the beginning and helping EMC2 fund science is one of the coolest things I've ever done in my life and its only going to get better! Cant wait to see how we deal with the handover of funds. This should be interesting. Stay tuned. |

We have just built an einsteinium client with x11 support, the tricky part will be the fork. I don't know if this will be our final decision to go with x11 but its looking that way right now! So the fork could be coming quite soon right?  Our devs who are working on this are also working normal jobs as we speak. I hope to have more info for you after 7PM EST this evening. |

What's going on with our beloved coin? I'm missing the marketing power, which is surely available... Twitter account and reddit wasn't updated regarding the end of the project-voting, forum activity is way less then at / after launch, no feedback to any of my thoughts / questions from the Einsteinium team etc. etc. ... have you depleted your initial motivation? Stagnation will let a coin slowly die, in this fast crypto-world. Low coin-price results in less miners results in less funding capital results in a coin which isn't attractive anymore (what nobody wants). If there are no news it's ok and absolutely normal because it's not possible to have plenty of them every day. But now the very first voting was done... a really big milestone for EMC2 and I didn't find any news about it at the internet. All in due time my friend, reddit will start exploding soon, twitter will follow. Were working on contacting experiment.com and the winner now to arrange payment. Once we have some facts like, USD donation amount, date of donation, method of donation then the media blitz will commence. I hope this puts you at ease a bit. Were all working hard days, long nights to make this this coin succeed and it will. You can bank on that! |

It is great to see the first round of voting completed. It would be nice if winners wrote a short paragraph for display on the website in response to winning the votes. Another option some may be willing to do is have a Skype video call recorded or audio only so that can be on the site as the news is brought to them of the win. Any type of response from the winner would be a welcome addition.
What a great idea. I have just put out the word that if possible a short thank you video is in order. Maybe in the future all the winners will make a thank you video and we can have them posted on the site. Thanks for the wonderful idea. |
