Kisses just sounds innocent, more like a girls coin.

I do like TRIX as this could also be abbreviated TX.

Maybe "tripleX" or TX for short?

Man the order buying book is fucking huge than the selling.

24 BTC Buy order compared to 3 BTC sell order. What a great coin. Sud have started mining from the beginning.

Apex was in a similar situation about 24 hours ago, yet it couldn't push past 3K.  Huge buy support but buyers not willing to commit.  I think interest tapered off due to low volume.

I feel the same will happen with BTCD if volume doesn't start increasing.  We need a good increase in volume to create a little panic in the market before the market looses interest.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmark on: July 16, 2014, 12:27:46 PM
I do agree with what everyone is saying, however the reality is the launch was very discreet compared to other coins.  Fudders and trolls will use whatever leverage they can find to bring a coin down.

I'm sure we have all seen good coins destroyed by fudders and trolls, and I dont want to see that happen to BM.

I guess what i'm really trying to say is the trolls and fudders will flock to this threat once BM gains attention, and we need to be ready for whatever they throw at us.

I feel we need to spread the Bitmark name some more and we need to get onto an exchange.

I do like the direction Bitmark is going, but we need to get a better idea where we stand in the market.  I also feel by not getting the word out Bitmark will be labeled an ninja launch and stealth / instamine.  These labels can cause volatility in the coins market.

Support your dev, plz sell

might want to feed off the miner dumping between 14 and 15 during the remainder of POW.  Looking at the charts though I get the feeling we are on the launch pad right now.  Maybe just get what you can now and wait for the dump.

Update on the cam site...

Server host had three servers down for half the day today, sorry about that, out of my control.

It had been going up and down for the last two days.  I thought it was something I may have been doing, however, support said it was another user abusing their system resources.

There were/are many bugs in the cam script, and changes to make in the payment script.  I have been working as fast as I can to get them fixed and do it right.

Fixed
-Back end was not user friendly for changing status to "paid" for performers, it would mark all performers paid no matter what I options I chose.  (fixed)
-Changed all the $ symbols to [xxx] (fixed)
-Some links were broken (fixed)
-Tipping was not working correctly due to a timing issue (fixed)
-Various other minor things

To do...
-Ending cam session, doesn't close it out in the server if not at least one party clicks the end button. (easy)
- ^^^ That causes the "In Chat" link to appear on the home page and in the performers profile. ^^^  (fixed with above)
-If a user leaves the payment page, or refreshes, or anything other than click the "check confirmations" button, the server will never apply the credits to their account. (tougher, but have solution)
-Live cams don't show up at the top of the profile list (easy)
-Security issues are being addressed, the cam script author left many open vulnerabilities and I'm looking through every line to make sure they're closed up.

After a user on IRC suggested it, I installed Nginx today.  After looking at the docs, and reading some reviews, decided to install it.  Seems to be working very nicely.  It's meant for high load sites, hopefully the cam site will be one of those sites.  As a fall back, Apache is still installed and it only takes two lines of code to revert back to Apache2.

I expect to have the remaining "to do" list completed (tentatively) by Saturday night at latest.

Thank you for everyone's patience while cleaning up the code and make sure it's secure enough for production.

Great work!

So are you part of the OP dev team?

If not I would be interested to know what they have been up to.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitcoinDark (BTCD)--Sha-256/PoW-PoS hybrid/Bounty Opportunities on: July 15, 2014, 08:29:07 PM
Is the dev still active?
Re-reading some posts, I'm just curious how this will work when implementing the anon features and future of this coin as it states in the ann post that it'll be community driven. I respect the idea, but I just want to be clear on the dev's intentions. Based on his/her past post history it seems they're genuinely interested in making a quality coin and everything has gone well so far, but I'm a little bit wary based on the comment about them not being a technical dev. Is that hinting that the work may have to be done by community members and those interested in the coin?
Hello!

I am part of BTCD community now and I happen to be developing a cryptonote fork to add anon features to NXT. It turns out that my methods should apply to BTCD also. I will be working on integrating cryptonote tech into BTCD, but it is more than "just" cryptonote anon tech as I am also making my solution include a near realtime exchange (InstantDEX) so people can directly trade just by running the coin.

How will all this work you ask?
https://github.com/jl777/pNXT has the current source code and it is rapidly being developed.

Once InstantDEX is done, I will be adding Privatebet (peer to peer sportsbook) to the pNXT framework, plus the way it is implemented there is no reason any other number of useful services cant be added.

My efforts are in parallel with all the other BTCD coders and I try to design a clever way to integrate to require minimal changes to the BTCD codebase. So, if I succeed, then all the peoples selling at current prices will not be so happy.
There is no reason that other anon tech in BTCD can't combine with the cryptonote tech, in fact pushing tx through two independent anon algos would only help if it is done properly. So, I bring very good news to BTCD and now I expect a massive in increase in the FUD level Smiley

James

P.S. I am not so active on BTT, but you can find out more about me on NXT forums and jl777.org

Great to have you onboard James!

Exciting times ahead!

Great news!

Do you have an expected timeline for implementation.

After the POW it may get interesting, mainly with the price of the coin.

Dev needs to get Anon up and running as this is a selling point of the coin.

You caught me lurking, tigerwood0432. I am back, and I am fine (will explain more in later post). Looks like we are now on the verge of a multi-pool and hopefully about to be listed on coinpayments.net (keep voting, btw). Looks like I should go missing more often. Great job everybody!

i was waiting for you since 4 days Smiley Hunting you lol Smiley A pleasure to see you here Smiley we will give you all our support for the coin Smiley Tomorow we will be on coinpayment = new opportunities for zimstake = merchants can add it as payment processor Smiley You just came back and price is already moving very fast on bittrex .

+1

The Mintpal and Coinpayment voting has proven how strong and committed the zim community is.  Good work all.

Also, a massive pat on the back to all that held out for CG to return.

Now, buy while its still cheap!!
