Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.

In time like this, when market is down, bull run has refused to come, panic selling, and all coin value depressed, especially for those who just rely on bounty who make campaigns, so many token yet to be delivered, some yet to come into exchange,those in exchange with poor value. I feel so bored, how about you?

Besides BTC, there are thousands of altcoins. Everyday there are new currencies.

Other than top 20 currencies, what are hot and profitable currencies you think?

Do you think that fresh new currencies are always profitable?

But I don't have so many accounts in various exchanges to buy these altcoins. To be have verified accounts in many exchanges is difficult for me.

The emergence of new altcoin will certainly change the old altcoin market conditions. The more altcoins that appear, the more choices for investors and traders, especially if the growth of investors cannot keep up with the growth of new altcoins. old altcoin will be excluded if it does not develop.

The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.

We always see the price rise for a short period after the listing in the exchanges or after IEO, but soon price be come down,
this may due to two reasons:
The first reason is that the coin or token has no real value.
The second reason is the large sale of those who got his coin  free such as airdrop.
Isn't that true?

The reason why i don't like new wallets
1. They always have low users which means they have nothing new to offer,even if new users try them out,once they don't see any thing new they bounce back to their old wallet, repetitive at work

2. Many new wallets on playstore can't be trusted,they have different set of aims, some have access to your private keys but they will fool users thinking you are the only one in control of the private keys and some don't  give out private keys to users,they work as online wallet

A token swap, is the switching of digital tokens from one blockchain onto another blockchain. This usually happens when projects that utilize one blockchain (like ethereum) to facilitate funds, and then desire to move their tokens onto their own private exclusive blockchain as soon as the project’s mainnet has been launched.

Now, for an average long term investor, he buys to hold after hearing of how people hold tokens and after some years or months, they discover that their token value as gone up and then they sell for huge profits.

Most long term investors don't have that time and luxury to be lurking around telegram groups reading chats from admins and bot members. They buy like they would normally purchase shares and wait for it to go up in price while checking once in a while.

The moment a project announces a token swap, the long term investor is not aware of it because they likely don't know much about crypto stuff and don't hang around telegram groups. They just buy and hodl while hoping it moons later on. As a result, tokens are swapped and the investor ends up with losses for a project they believe was going to deliver profits for them. To make it worse, the project team will refuse to swap the investor's token after the deadline has passed.

This is sad as it effectively means you cannot be sure to buy tokens, hodl and go to sleep for 20 years, then wake up and meet it in huge profits. The project devs might have done a swap while you slept and you'd only wake up to meet a bag of worthless shit in your wallet.

If projects want to engage in a token swap, then it has to be done automatically and not manual as not every investor will be aware of the swap announcements.

If it has to be a manual token swap then they should leave the swap open forever so that investors can swap whenever they can do so and not forced to do so at a set deadline.

Most bounty projects are now scam. But among them there are a small number of really good projects. But this does not save the situation, because basically, in such projects involved a lot of people and in the end all participants get a penny. Therefore, such bounties are also unprofitable. That's the sad situation now.

Because the cryptocurrency situation is currently not the same as before. So I want to ask all of you in here, so that I don't lose money in investing. Which do you think is better, buy when ico / ieo / tokensale and get a bonus or buy when it is listed in the public exchange/market at a low price? I personally prefer to participate in the tokensale but see the current situation, when a token / coin list in the market is cheap, this makes me very confused to invest. How about you? If regulation never come anytime sooner can we protect ourselves? how can we protect ourselves from crypto monsters hiding in disguise, especially bounty projects coming into crypto space with full force, any ideas ? I know many are going to say we should do better research before promoting projects, is there any strict blows we can give these monsters by ourselves ?

Why is no one talking about price listing of exchanges? exchanges listing is becoming a huge problem for many start up projects, how can an exchange be demanding for 8btc to list? how will the projects have enough money to work on their roadmap? i think exchange problem is what many of us are not seeing and talking about...it would have been a different story for some projects that lacks funds

Is it important to research the whitepaper in the project? then is there a right way to find out if their whitepapper is real, not fake? What do you think?

The way they usually work is they give you some string and you sign it to prove you own the address.

Could a malicious air drop make a transaction sending all your BTC to them, and then you sign it, and then they broadcast it to the network?
Or is signing a message different than signing a transaction?

I guess the title of your topic is what makes people going against OP words, its like you are just trying to create awareness for your project, why don't you just let your actions here on decides what will happen? you don't have to confuse people about how good your project is, it will tell in time
