Just another scam coin released from the creators of XtraBytes !
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5134924.1180

You all know XtraBytes? They had a so called patented technology, which they never delivered on.
They had a so-called break trough blockchain technology that was so crazy it need to be patented. All these years they told investors they were filing for patents, but then one of the creators suddenly died..

https://www.reddit.com/r/anuutech/comments/saybmc/xtrabytes_anuutech/

This is the truth:

"Yeah it's a scam. AnuuTech is run by the former XTRABYTES managers Danny, Donovan and a few others who didn't deliver anything in 4 years. Remember: XTRABYTES was launched in 2017 and to this day, nothing has been developed. Instead, they claimed for years that tech release would be soon. After they were exposed for this scam, they created a new project named AnuuTech. Almost the whole team consists of former XTRABYTES employees. It's funny that they continue to lie to the world by saying that AnuuTech has no relation to XTRABYTES in any other way when in fact, the whole idea and concept was stolen by its founder Borzalom (who is a scammer as well)."

They also claim to be a limited liability company "Anuutech ltd". No registration papers in any country is to be found. This is a fake company, fake technology, and real scammers !

Not only did they they not deliver anything, they knew it was a scam, and that nothing would be delivered, yet continued to paint a rosy picture so noobs would continue to buy into the scam.

Ah well... is anyone really surprised?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW XBY ANN] XTRABYTES - A NEW ERA BEGINS on: July 21, 2021, 03:54:12 PM
Or maybe they just pretended during 3 years that they had something, but they have been paid for actually getting no actual result for the investors.

The team wallets are largely untouched though - you can easily find them on the block explorer. They are the ones with regular monthly payments of xfuel.

Where is XBY sold now?

It doesn't seem like much has happened with this project since the restructure was announced. It's sad to hear about CCR and i've always felt like a single point of failure in this project was bad, but realistically at this point it's a "make or break" moment for it. If the technology is legitimate and the team comes out and wow investors, the project will survive, if they can't, then the project will sink into the annals of history similar to many other projects. The concept of it being a "ethereum killer" probably won't help it much though imo since there's already alot of "ethereum killers" that are far ahead with their own platforms and many hosting defi concepts and projects in their ecosystems

Hope everything works out for you guys, but personally I probably won't invest / buy into this project again unless the technology becomes much less obfuscated and can be properly audited and compared to many of the other platforms out there that are available. I would encourage alot of people still invested in this project (if they're in it for the money and not the technology) to take a look at some of the other projects that are active atm too and not to invest solely in this project. Alt season is in full bloom and many projects are up 1000% or more since last year. Rather than focusing solely on this project investment-wise, if you earn money on other alts you could reinvest profits into this project too

Just some advice from a old investor of many projects Smiley

This project is a textbook case of how lack of transparency can ruin a project. XBY's total lack of transparency will surely end up leading to its demise. People are capable of handling the truth, yet over and over again, XBY has had to address negative outcomes, issues etc.. only after the fact. Once the community got wind of an issue and started raising concern, and asking questions, only then would someone from the team address what was going on. The best way to build a healthy, trusting relationship with the members of the community is to provide them access to information. Something rarely done here. Openness and authenticity are critical when it comes to sustaining brand loyalty. Companies that make it a common practice to suppress information about themselves are not trusted. Information abhors a vacuum and if you are not providing the information then audiences will source it or speculate about it for themselves. This I feel is one of the main reasons XBY has always battled "FUD" and negativity. They create it inadvertently through secrecy and lack of transparency. I don't fault the team for this. This was common practice for CCR, so most of the time, i'm sure the team was in the dark as well. This entire project has always been shrouded in a veil of secrecy, and is one of the reasons that so many potential investors shave always been skeptical. Trust is the key to brand success and transparency is trust in action. Those projects that embrace it will greatly increase investor satisfaction, and those investors will move from a mere awareness of the project and affinity for it, to advocacy. I hope the current team truly embraces this concept and makes it a cornerstone moving forward. I have no idea what is left of this project. No one does. How much coding is complete? How much is left to do to get XBY too mainnet? What size team will it need to complete this? These are just but a few questions that should have been answered long ago. Be forthcoming. The people that have been here with you and supporting this project for 4 years can help build it as well. You just have to be up front with them.

You quote Steve Jobs but Apple have always been secretive about everything.

Anyway moot point now as they are open sourcing the project.

I thinks it is safe to assume this project is over. I just don't see how there is any way that it can compete with the likes of Dot, ADA and the many others, who have teams and developers who have redefined this space. I'm sorry, I just don't see an way that XBY could have kept up over the past few years. This space has evolved and expanded too rapidly for a 4 year old technology like XBY. Good luck all.

Reads like someones Wet Dream ..  completely detached from reality.

Yes, it is a little much. I understand something like that from an investor, but coming from the team, it doesn't seem very grounded.

In light of the fundamental changes that will take effect with an upcoming coin merger, we are no longer accepting new node registrations. However, keeping the registered nodes will simplify the swap process for the coins that are locked in those nodes. Additionally, any current information regarding XBY, XFUEL and our network economics are no longer valid and will be replaced. As the conditions are still being worked out and susceptible to change, we cannot share any of these details with the public yet.

Is true that coins locked in cryptopia will not be able to be swapped if not released by liquidator before merger? There will be no contingency for those that had coins there. I was lucky to have not lost any there, but this seems very unwise.

Such sad news... My deepest sympathies to all who knew Dave, and especially his close friends and family. Rest in peace CCR.

Hello, I have question about an amount of XBy that I had on Cryptopia, it seems very likely that Grant Thornton will begin the process of returning customers coins in the near future. When will Borz be unlocking the wallets to allow those of us that had our XBY locked there to get our coins back? I believe this is a process that should be discussed. What plans are being made, and what criteria will Borz be going by to initiate unlock of the wallet at cryptopia? I don't have a large amount of XBY there, but they are my coins, so I would like to know what processes are being planned for on our end. There are others that have a large amount there also. I believe with such a large amount of others money at stake, a little transparency would go a long ways. I not saying that anyone did anything wrong, I just asking for a little clarity regarding the unlocking of the wallet so we all can hopefully get our XBY back.

It is my understanding that XBY will receive notification from Grant Thornton when they are ready to start the process of identifying XBY account holders.

Hello, has Borz unlocked XBY wallet at Cryptopia yet?

Well looks like XBY missed the boat.. I had such hopes for this coin. All the talk of xby=google and the other hype really worked. It really hurts watching others doing so well while XBY goes to 5-10 sats. I blame myself for falling for the hype. I should have been smarter than to believe that sucjh a small project could be the next google or eth killer. Next time I will use common sense. Also, why has CCR been absent for over one month and no updates about why he is missing or what is going on? It is not my business I realize, but transparency goes a long way. This project is sorely lacking when it comes to this...

We are well thanks for asking

As to Developers choosing to use this network - some will straight away as they have been followers for a while and you are right that some will require evidence of how the network is better than others - this testing will take please - thats the purpose to move to these next phases and then developers can review the results and make an educated choice.

Really who? I've never once heard anyone in the Discord say that they are waiting to build on the network?

This sounds like the "cloud cuckooland" thinking that PhillipePhloppe alluded to.

Ahhh cloud cuckoo land. The XBY way. I keep waiting two weeks but things never materialise.

Also if I told you who I knew then that wouldn’t be fair.

I feel like I know as much about this project now as I did last year at this same time. I mena we are on different exchange and have Xcite but still feel in the dark.

Comparing to BTC .. makes no sense since BTC went from Zero to putting blockchain tech on the map

I know and so far it's completely failed in it's original remit of being a global digital currency. It may take many more years of development to achieve the required speed and scalability. My point being that development can take many years.

Ethereum was proposed in late 2013 by Vitalik Buterin, a cryptocurrency researcher and programmer. Development was funded by an online crowdsale that took place between July and August 2014.[5] The system then went live on 30 July 2015.

OK 7 years then. The point still stands. Maybe if they have spent longer prior to releasing it might have scaled from the get go.

"If XBY get to main net in 5 years total that will be similar to other projects in the space." Like ?

Cardano and Cosmos for example. And they both have the benefit of huge resources unlike XBY.

If Cardano and Cosmos took 5 years, I would thnk 10 years for XBY would be a better estimate. Considering one man has doing all the coding.

My understanding from comments made by the team is that they paid a "production fee". They don't have the kind of money needed to pay for advertising on national US TV networks. That would be millions of dollars I suspect.
Anyone following this project knows they don't have those kind of funds.

As for the 80 million potential households, that is across all the channels that the advertisement and documentary will be shown.

I see nothing wrong with paying for exposure, I only thought that a new documentary had been produced regarding crypto and that XBY was approached and asked to be a part of the documentary due to their ground breaking technology. This appears to be a paid for marketing concept paid for by XBY. Obviously I misunderstood what was going on initially and didn't realize that XBY was paying a content company for an infomercial. I hope it gets a lot of exposure and I will try to pay better attention next time so that I understand what is going on. I am still excited for this project.

I very much enjoyed the new infomercial with Laurence Fishburne, but read recently that about the tehse types of sale pitches that do not deliver in the end. Did XBY pay for this exposure? I was led to believe that hey were approached and included in a documentary. Noyt that they paid for it.

Wow XBY doing very poorly on Probit. Currently down to 86 sats. I don't understand. I hear so many good things from team. The team even hire new Director of Marketing. Maybe i'm missing something, because the price is not coincidence and is always driven by demand and currently there appears to be none here. I still have hope for this coin.

Lot of words, but lot of things that have been promised years ago and are still  not here.
Remember there are still plenty of patents that need to be pending.
What about a finished version of XCITE? It's been years since XCITE was supposed to be final stage.
What about the IMAGINE campain estimated jor June or july can't remember.

I mean plenty of red flags and the biggest one is the fact that the team believe it's going to be revolutionnary but the volume is still so low. They ain't buying as much as you think.

I'm afraid that I am inclined to agree with you on at least one of your assertions. Have heard that XBY solves the trilema but have seen no evidence. Was I wrong to believe?
