21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is It Still Profitable To Mine Cryptos In 2021 on: February 18, 2021, 04:00:16 PM
Yes crypto mining is currently very profitable, it's all about making back your ROI in short time, if you buy a gpu right now and you mine 24/7 I can assure you that in 5 months you would make your money back, yes crypto mining is that profitable right now, I bought a gtx1660 ti for 300$ and I've already made 150$ back right now, that's half of my invested money already
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Rx590 selecting MOBO on: February 18, 2021, 03:52:28 PM
If the gpu is old then the problem may be from the old owner, first check if the gpu has a bios switch, he or she probably flashed a modded bios on that gpu that's causing all the freak job, it might even be the motherboards unless they are new, partial contact can make a gpu to be selective
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stupid mistake on: February 18, 2021, 03:45:15 PM
The PCIe slot is likely dead, do not plug in anything to that PCIe slot. It is possible that the motherboard also died with it, but there is very little chance of this damaging the GPU - the USB cable that connects this pciex1 inset to the riser isnt designed to carry power, and can carry very little.

Disconnect all GPU's, see if the the computer is still booting. If it does, next try checking the GPU's individually. Do NOT even try to plug anything into the slot you burned, try the rest of the slots.

This is 2017 all over again Smiley this was a pretty common mistake for people to make back then.
OP already confirmed that the card is dead, tested in other motherboards with no display and even tested with onboard hdmi display, the card is a gonna already, there is 12v and 3.3v connect in the PCie slots, imagine turning that around, it will surely send unwanted current into the gpu
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NVIDIA is cutting the 3060's Hash Rate in Half & NEW Mining specific GPU's on: February 18, 2021, 03:38:21 PM
What's their problem?  Angry What business does geforce and nvidia have with miners that makes them want to lower hashrate for RTX3060? People don't just buy costly gpu for gaming only, in fact everyone has the right to do what they like with their gpu since they paid for them, what's nvidia business in mining ? This is weird to be honest
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is this safe to run 24/7? on: February 17, 2021, 02:19:36 PM
Don't worry, 62°C is a safe temp for AMD and infact up to 70°C is safe for me, I would only get worry if my temp reach 75°C and moreover AMD cards can handle high temperatures very well
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Missing a word out of my SEED phrase in WAVES wallet on: February 17, 2021, 02:03:14 PM
Nice one can help you out on this one because its your own mistake if you lose your recovery seed, honestly there is no way to go about it and don't even bother trying to pay someone to help you out, you will be scammed, once you lost your keys its over
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential of an altcoin on: February 17, 2021, 01:45:01 PM
Hi all, I would like to understand how to calculate the potential of an altcoin in order to understand when it is a good time to sell it.
In my specific case for example I bought INJ in December and now the profit is about 600% .
Should I compare INJ to an existing well established similar altcoin (if they exists) to understand its potential?
I know I should set in advance a price when starting to sell, but this could be 100%, 200% etc of profit but which to choose?

Thank you.
You can't compare to make gains out of other crypto projects, every coins have their own standard and their utilities, what is potential? Coins don't just grow them, it's all about the team hardwork that brings good worth and value to coins and token and to attract high adoption rate the coin must be very useful
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Low RAM stick on mobo on: February 16, 2021, 04:51:23 PM
Is your setup not working fine even with the two gig ram ? What difficulty are you experiencing? Only you can find the answer to this all you have to do is watch if you are loosing Hashrates or your rig is running so sluggish, my advice is add extra 2gb ram
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters , need your suggestion. on: February 16, 2021, 04:46:25 PM
@gullu I'm sure you missed oikos bounty too? Never mind, if you still think you are up for some bounty hunting here are very good projects that are worth promoting right now, I don't guarantee anything though just at your own risks

1. Base protocol round 2
2. Stobox round two
3. Sovryn
4. Unitedcrowd
5. Swaap

Like I've said, do your own god damn research
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RTX 2070 Supper 1x 6-pin + 1x 8-pin- Can I use am adapter? on: February 15, 2021, 04:05:26 PM
Buy a 6 pin to 8 pin molex connector, it works for me, I know many will say no or something but I still use it anyways and it's been running for weeks with no problem, it's available on ebay and Amazon I guess
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hi how i can mine my own pending transaction with my gpu on Ethereum network? on: February 15, 2021, 04:02:28 PM
Never heard about this, you can only become a worker and solve others transaction not yours, others will solve yours if in the blockchain and you will solve others, it's why we have miners coming together on pools to solve blocks faster
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes. on: February 15, 2021, 04:00:37 PM
We all have greed in us but many chooses to use it wrongfully, greed can get you more and can also ruin you, this is crypto space, a place where you don't want to slack behind, opportunities will never dry in this space that's why I keep on taking profits, why wait to become a millionaire when you can gather the piece together? A little drop of water can make a mighty ocean
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can driver affects miner performance? on: February 14, 2021, 05:12:25 PM
Can driver version affects the performance of a mining rig to the pool? I was using a old nvidia driver and I updated to the latest perform then I noticed better performance when using NB miner, reports of hashrate on pool is more accurate, strange 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Since you get better hashrate and performance isn't that good? Why call it strange? Drivers are updated everytime to fix issues on the old drivers, this is normal it's why we must always update drivers not just for graphic card only
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: list of bounties good quality (new update 07_12_2020) on: February 14, 2021, 05:10:15 PM
for the first time I apologize if I made a mistake in the thread that I made this, if it violates the rules please move to the appropriate topic or delete

below I will make a bounty list, which in my opinion is a good category.

this is just my personal judgment, it all depends on your personal judgment and beliefs.

in the bounty list that I made below will not guarantee the problem of payment according to what you expect, they may not pay you, as I said before it all depends on each individual.
Is gold stablecoin bounty running since 2019 because I'm confused that the project is still on the list, anyways there are few good bounties running lately and they are damn good

1. Prasaga
2. Cook protocol
3. Swaap
4. United Crowd
yes you are right the gold stablecoin project has been running since 2019 until now, I myself have registered several times in the campaign, but always rejected, it is very difficult to get a position there
Then lucky are those who got accepted into gold stablecoin bounty campaign, there is nothing better than constant payouts, since 2019 that is a long time already, damn it hurt I missed out on that one, presently I can see two good bounties called

1. Yield.app from Hhampuz
2. Pastel Network from legendster

Happy hunting people
Actually I've lost trust in Hhampuz projects, emporium finance was a scam and I luckily don't join the project at the time because I was busy with another, there is also another project that Hhampuz introduced after emporium finance, it went so wrong again, though Yield.app looks better because it's trading already
Also jacs token from jacs project that had a bounty managed by hampuz...i think this token will hardly drop after hiting exchanges because the bounty alocation was huge and the number of tokens is about 600 mln token with an ico price of about 0.28$...i expect that the gain from this bounty will be very small even for signature compaign participants
JACS token distribution is already done, I participated and got my tokens already but about the price and listing is still unknown, if the team decide to take advantage of the bull market the price will be very good I believe, by the way Free TON signature campaign is back but this time on cryptotalk.org

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: list of bounties good quality (new update 03_02_2021) on: February 14, 2021, 05:06:25 PM
What is going on? New bounties are popping up every day now, we careful people, not all these bounties are worth promoting,
There are lots of people already did DYOR. It's a common thing when the bull season will be attracting the scammers to join in the campaign. it looks like the majority of bounties are legit but I can't deny that a some bounties are not worth to be promoted by the hunters.
I hope that people will try to take care before trying to join in any campaign. The majority of new scam bounties came from the project that follows the defi trend.
Scammers to join bounty campaigns? That isn't something to be worried about, I guess we should focus more on new bounty projects from scammers, like you said we are in bull season and Scammers will try to take advantage of that, they will create useless tokens and use bounty hunters for nothing sake, watch out
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the Max safe Temp for Nvidia cards on: February 11, 2021, 09:13:21 PM
My nvidia cards are brand new and so I will like to keep them alive for a very long time, anything over 60°c will definitely raise a eye brow, some said Nvidia cards can handle 70°C well that's way too hot if you touch the back of the cards, I believe it's not safe
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problem with nicehash and pools on: February 11, 2021, 09:11:06 PM
Nicehash is less profitable, every God damn mining calculators in crypto space say so, it's really easy to figure out even if you use whattomine, I believe ethermine is better or even sparkpool, nicehash team are keeping the rest hashrate gains to their pocket, not fair
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 4x 1660 super or RTX3090 on: February 11, 2021, 09:08:12 PM
It makes sense to have more GPUs than a single one because of losses, the risk is limited with 4 GPUs instead of one, for example the gtx1660 super can cool at 54°C to 58°C, this will simply keep the graphic card alive for a longer time but with one gpu that can do 80 to 90°C anything can happen
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: switching pool for Eth on: February 10, 2021, 11:31:00 AM
I have good experience using Nicehash, also all the countries you listed above are available on nicehash as well, I don't understand what you are pointing at here, you are only correct about the shares rejected, that must be because of location or weak internet connections like you said

I pointed here exactly what I posted, I'm unsatisfied with Nicehash

Nicehash still show on the program all the servers, but only two are showing online on their status, take a look, I don't know if it's a problem or they removed another servers:

You can check by yourself: https://status.nicehash.com/

When I was mining with the location of Sao Paulo, the nearest of my location, I was receiving a lot of invalid shares, at least 3% in the last days, but now look at my ratio on Flexpool:

And now pools are paying better than Nicehash

I always defended Nicehash here, but now there's pools paying more, and more stable, maybe in a couple of days I'll get back, but not for now, they are facing a lot of issues, it's the 3rd day of problems

Is there any pools out there that are paying miners in bitcoin when mining Ethereum or other coins? I believe this is why many find it hard to leave nicehash behind and try other pools out
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: switching pool for Eth on: February 10, 2021, 11:28:01 AM
Pool rewards varies and they can never be stable too, stick with any pool that gives good number of accepted shares without many rejected shares, if you are getting 200 accepted shares make sure your rejected shares is around 2 to 3, this is what I called good pool
