That's some serious marketing effort.

Yep.. They sent a test unit to Dogie and he has a review up.  The price sucks.

So, whats fair for 1.1TH these days?

Including PSU, I'd say 1100 USD - 1300 USD (also depends on power consumption ofcourse).

this experience has been one big fuck after another. I really cannot believe it.

So crypto-trade will NOT help me with the hacking of my account and the subsequent sell-off (for very cheap) of all my shares. So.. I am officially done here.

Not really sure what the purpose of hacking into my account and selling off all my shares was for as the result is pretty null, I only had 18k shares... I could go ahead and buy back the same amount of shares if I really believed that we were going to be refunded by Ken but guess what:

I DON'T BELIEVE THAT WE WILL SEE ANY REFUND WHATSOEVER.

This scam is complete.

If the person who hacked into my CT account is reading this: thank you for pulling the trigger for me and getting me out of this godawful 18 months of the miserable, selfish and self-absorbed bunch that you all are... A very small few of you are cool but for the most part you all pretty much suck so astoundingly hard that I can't even put it into words.

I hope I never hear of any of you ever again and especially Ken Slaughter (whom I'm sure will be in an early grave due to the stress of all this).

good luck.

Sorry to hear dude.
We sure have to fight alot of bums and cope with much stress in this uprising bitcoin world.

You're not alone though.

Cheers,
HR

Now, after communicating with XBtec, I am leaning towards BA again being the scum of the earth.  But not the whole organization.  It seems that a single or small group of people inside BA sold the list.

Please let us know who has sold this stolen information.

You?  Huh

So any people get VMC refunds?
I requested and didn't.

I got a refund, but I think I might be about the only one

Apparently we all DO have some spare time on our hands

Yes we do!

Hehe intellihash... Deserves a place in the bitcoin hall of shame.

Ken sure took a lot of intellicash too.

Am I still banned for saying on multiple occasions that Ken's operation was a scam?

No one is moderating this thread anymore.

Feel free to speak your mind

56  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: August 01, 2014, 05:58:45 PM
Answer from Peppermining regarding chips to board assembly:

Dario, its not that simple as just giving us chips, it has to be worth doing another run, for example if you have 10 chips we cant go to our assembly house and have them just do ten, not only that the pcb's need to be ordered and if you want them in under 5 days you pay a high premium for this service compared to if you have time and you can do 2 weeks lead time price drops about 30-40% depending on the pcbs.

So we cant really just give a price unless we have more details such as how many chips (it has be worth it for us to do another run cost wise) and what the lea d time is.  For example long lead parts are pcb's (the they become cheaper as mentioned above), we also have to look at the part supply chain to see if all the other parts are avail to be purchased, and some of those are long lead times or if you buy lets say 100 vs a reel of 1000 your also paying premium so as you can see giving you a price is not that easy based upon the above factors.

Also note while the HF chips become cheaper the board components do not go down in price.  So the board price doesn't change much unless you have long enough time vs rush order which costs everyone quite a bit extra.

I hope you see our dilemma on providing you an answer so if you can provide more details we can and its worth it for us (meaning the order is big enough, the long lead parts are ordered asasp and then the assembly house it lined up and avail for us).

Too bad, maybe it could have been worthwhile
57  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: August 01, 2014, 05:56:34 PM
No, they ceased to offer this option few months ago when they were submitted by some companies for chapter 9 7 bankruptcy
Regardless of the fact that we were pushing for those settlements and the petition didn't stopped them from doing so, they decided to stop the settlements independently, to screw us once more.

Answer from "Tim":

Dario,

It is my understanding that once HashFast was driven to involuntary bankruptcy on May 9, 2014, as someone who has an unfulfilled order, you became a creditor.  At this time, we are unable to provide you with any type of compensation or credit for your unfulfilled order.  I suggest you to please check with your own legal counsel on this matter.

That said, we can take new orders for our existing inventory listed at www.hashfast.com/parts

Thank you,

--Tim

I am a bit confused. SO they are continuing to sell boards to people interested in developing hardware around there chips,  but wont ship us the MPP and the other batches?

For the record they have even continued mining as stated on there site.

HF can still sell dev kits, etc to keep the lights on as they wind down.  They are not mining beyond the demo unit, which has a public address.

But once somebody brought in their lawyer and filed for Chapter 7, it became illegal for HF to give us our MPP chips and there was less money for finishing other batches, much less flexibility to restructure and recapitalize.

So as a creditor, I guess I can no longer opt to convert the amount owed to chips?
60  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: July 30, 2014, 09:40:39 AM
it has nothing to do with antminers, just bad luck on eligius

Thanks. Thought so too, but I noticed none of my other miners experienced this bad luck.
But I guess it must be that then.
