HOLY TOLEDO guys!

Ken actually already refunded my order in BTC.
I can't believe it. Are you sure bitcoin transactions aren't reversible? Smiley

I will need at least one week to recover from this totally unexpected event.

Finally I can close this chapter full of horror.

If you feel comfortable will you post the tx link?

It seems refunds aren't being paid out from mining funds - https://blockchain.info/address/16yTynjmSe5bsRGykDaaCL5bm2pxiEfcqP

When did you request your refund?

24th of June, he refunded me the same day.

I guess you are still waiting for your refund?
Wow, I request my refund Like Jan 14 2014 and still nothing. I emailed and called frequently, only to be ignored. I already sent in that form and it seems like he's not issuing refunds even though the form says 7 days.

I initially requested my refund also in January. I meant I sent the refund form the 24th of June

Actually it currently takes 10 days with 3.3 TH/s to mine a bitcoin.
Damn that's bad.

Looks like Neptombers, all costs considered, paid about $2000 per bitcoin.

Yeah, maybe the japper crapper deal was the better one after all...
124  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: July 02, 2014, 08:56:30 AM
How many people actually received their rig(s)?

Are there people still waiting for them?
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: July 02, 2014, 08:51:05 AM
man reading all this makes me glad i decided to refund at the beginning of the year.

Makes me glad I didn't buy at all.

Could you imagine paying ten grand for something that takes 5 days to mine a BTC?
And then every ten days add another day! Geez

126  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: July 01, 2014, 06:36:08 PM
I want to see the entire hashfast team in jail.  this way other hw companies know what to expect if they think they can pull something like this.

Probably a new jail has to be built in order to accomodate all those bitcoin scammers.

I guess it's getting time for the refund option indeed. Unfortunately, I have to knock on BA's door...
128  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [VMC] Official Virtual Mining Corporation Discussion on: June 27, 2014, 08:06:50 PM
Anyone got refunded yet?

Anyone else got refunded yet?
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: June 26, 2014, 07:25:58 AM
Yeah, on ROI... Looks like Neptune may or may not make even 5 btc... if it runs perfect.
30% estimated change with a few days to go, and the next few diffchanges look to be similar
Looks like mining just got stomped into commercial and private clouds by all the manufacturers who decided to mine for themselves.
cough cough
With 43 cent electric here, no way mining in Hawaii is profitable anymore
It would be cheaper for me to rent an office or storage unit in Chelan where it's 2.4cents, but difficulty says forget mining imho.

I'm done. As soon as these Neppies ship out, I'll be turning my attention elsewhere. (trading for now)
Good luck to all, and thank you to those who "put up" with me for the last year plus.
If anything, made a few cool friends...   *Aloha.*

Anybody get a shipping confirmation from MS? Anybody?

Bobsag, how many went out or are going out today? Any pictures of the delivery? Hope we're not waiting for the power cords before you ship them. Any idea of future shipments? So many questions...

So few answers  Sad

Ignominious gloating

people, why is it you feel the need to rub salt into the wounds of fellow miners?
We have all been burned at one point or another, and if you haven't been burned then you are either more mouth than money or a god-damn leprechaun with all the luck of the devil in you.

We all understand how to calculate what our own mining rigs will make in their return of investment and whether or not they will break even, so can I just make a plea here; for the benefit of the community as a whole... quit with the ignominious gloating about how rolled-over one or other of us have been? please? It does you no favours to make folk feel badly about our expensive purchases. Let owners of these rigs discuss them in peace.

rant over.

They are not giving away money they are giving out refunds.
The money came in at one point...

And yet Ken is using our freshly minted coins for the refunds. What does this tell us about the preorder funds?

Lost at MtGox (yeah right).

Only 450> about $300,000.

Only Ken could explain where the rest is at, I guess

He must be expecting a BTC/USD price decrease soon (and I think he would be right)
