Maybe we should start to apply to other exchange(s). Cryptopia is a good choice, offering market place, mining pool and blockchain explorer.

Therefore, they might be interested in running an independent blockchain explorer (depite being non-conventional) and even a "mining pool". As to being a "mining pool", it is the best, ideal place to function as a "club owner" for "Mangocoinz or Bitcoinz for clubs." This also solves the issues of requiring Paypal for Payouts. Paypal, as you know, might not be as popular as what we expect, despite the fact that I have used Paypal for more than 15 years.

Having places, such as Cryptopia to run an independent blockchain explorer would certainly help to established more formal status in the cryptos world, and would be invaluable for Mangocoinz.

Where did you get the figures of daily limit    My iphone MCZ app does not show these numbers.

There is an article talking about phone mining: Android Altcoin Mining – Is It Possible? ......Mangocoinz is still unique.

"Over 80 percent of these smartphones run on Android operating system." However, at the places where I go to work (in USA), only few use Android phones. I believe that phone-mining powers and MCZ values to be created by the iphone users is drastically underestimated (due to being a minority) and lack of appropriate development of a regular iphone-mining app for MCZ is a miscalculation and the cause of diminutive progress of Mangocoinz.

As expected, it is the phone carriers/store owners who can run hundreds of phone-mining operation. The MCZ phone-mining has the drawbacks of not having increased difficulty levels when you put in more hashing powers like any cryptos, opening the gates for high-profile abuses of the system and inequality to regular phone-miners. The MCZ mining program already uses GPS information and should have the capacity to detect such things.

While multiple mining at the same locations should not be forbidden, ( don't we sometimes run several crypto mining machines?) but it should be much fairer to have a higher difficulty level assigned (overall or locally), to reduce the magnitude of abuses?

iphone  TestFlight  for MCZ expired again.

7 months now.

Is regular iphone MCZ app being discontinued? Favoring BFC (BitCoinForClubs)?

Then how could we have MCZ iphone wallets to store our own MCZs  or doing wallet transactions ourselves, other than doing so via webwallets or exchange sites?  

As I said before,


MCZ won't reach its full potential or become the #1 Crypto (which I dream it can become) unless you can reach anyone, yours friends or any body around you, and have them persuaded to download MCZ app and start mining.

They want you to "show me the money," while they don't have paypal acount or are not comfortable (or have not done so before) to have their bank account linked to an exchange site to get payout from mining MCZ. Certainly, if MCZ is extremely popular, any person would be happy to keep MCZ and stay in the system. But this won't happen first. 

One thing is certain: As long as the MCZ is syncing, the servers are still running well and the devs are still there. Likely we  need to get a better MCZ price to get going.

But we should not wait too long to let "Central" banks of the whole world to get too much into the business of "decentralized" Cryptos.

We are seeing plenty of supports for Mangocoinz at both exchanges.

As I have always said, the real value of a crypto is to get more and more regular people ( mining or not) to accept it, keep it and use it. The MCZ is @ the beginning point of such a long process ( not overnight success), to gain value and price.

Due to the News that the Bank of China will create a digital currency, Some of cryptos (VPN, XSI, MI) were overpumped 8x to 60x in value.  For some of the cryptos, I do not know what they are doing. ( Going to the website of XSI, it only shows you links after links.) lol.  

The main problem in getting android/ios/electrum wallets is that it would not be an easy task for this kind of Multi-Algo POW crypto; therefore, it would be hard, even to outsource the tasks, if not impossible, unless it has been done relatively quite routinely by any other cryptos. 

It appears that having regular MCZ mining iphone App available at the Apple store is absolutely needed, considering that it is already 6 months for the Beta.

I can have more than 10 persons immediately sign up for the coming iphones app. It can gather more enthusiasms, rising and much higher prices and certainly more potential profits from daily MCZ mining, and certainly more miners joining and probably more attention of the media.

MangoCoinz should be more than setting up and running well before around October when charity runs tends to occur. (such as "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer","Walk to end Alzheimer" in USA.) It might be a great opportunities to have MCZ mining introduced but it would be very hard to mention about it to those people unless MCZ mining is much more established. 

As I have said before. It is up to our devs who would call the shot.

There is no harm to change denominations now because there is no trading in China, (and won't cause confusion there.)

There are certainly psychological factors. It is much easier to cut denomination and value to 1/100 (or to about $0.00007) and rise 1000X and each coin value becomes $0.07. Nobody will feel the itch. Because it really rises from nothing to $0.07.


The changes may help popularity and something to talk about in the media. [Certainly for everyone in this world to sort of owning a mcz (= 1/100 or 1/1000 of MCZ) would be greater.] Having more and more Chinese to join to sync and use mcz/MCZ would be great, too.

1000 x should be better to make it about 16.7 Billions mcz (and still is consistent with the Energy-light spectrum code in 1000 times), considering that the world population is already around 7.4 billions.


As smartphones become more powerful, mining in blockchains may soone be possible. Some cryptos such as VPNcoin can already mine in POS with smartphones.

The regular solo MCZ mining App has been in Beta/Testflight for about 6 months and long closed, unable to accept new sign-up. The MCZ iphone app is the only one mining/syncing and keeping Mangocoins. 

I think pjcltd is the best person to help start a new thread or to take over this thread.

I will remain the best supporter of Joincoin. I have some plans forming for Joincoin promotions most likely in the coming 3-6 months; still not finding time to start.

Hopefully "Love_of_Algo" will show up or respond this time. 

The BFC is just Running/syncing MCZ, converted to mBTC and get paid in $ through Paypal.   https://www.mangocoinz.com/

The BFC app is just for Running to get MCZs, converted directly to mBTC ("cheap") and get paid through a Paypal account you have or through a club operator and his Paypal account. The MCZs are synced but you do not see/keep them or see future appreciation and you are not using/trading/or promoting the use of MCZ/Cryptos.

Please aware that MCZ might soon be 100-1000 more popular than Paypal. I have no difficulty in getting 10-12 persons to sign up for regular iphone MCZ mining. They all do not have Paypal account but I could not be and have no business in asking any person to open a Paypal account.

I think we are at the crossroad we began with, the same things we and cryptos world have been facing: getting people to use cryptos.

For all the trials to get people in my surroundings to sign up for MCZ, my success is limited.

Regular iphone MCZ mining app is not up yet. I have been trying to get one person to start Testflight. The immediate problem is requiring iOS 8 which was finally updated and 2 days ago the MCZ app is not downloaded yet due to being busy.

I think, as I said before, Start MCZ directly and staying in the system is still the basic requirement. Other features, especially payout with Paypal is most basic and unique feature, for people who choose to cash out  from time to time and do not want to get into an exchange.

If I am not wrong, Cashing in and out through Paypal is still much easier to set up than through a crypt exchange which most non-cryptos would not want to think about doing; however, everyone I asked do not use Paypal, one of her sister and another one of her husband have Paypal.

One girl would not want to sign-up for Android MCZ mining, because she would not want MCZ to have anything to do with her bank acount, (or credit cards), and certainly no Paypal for her.  There must be very bad publicity of Paypal having someone's bank account falsely charged and emptied in the ancient time.  Most likely remedies to keep Paypal safe and sound have been put in places.  And I do not see problems after using a Paypal account for at least more than 17 years.

Because it is "free" to mine, it should not be hard to make people sign up for MCZ mining if the process can be facilitated and all the barriers to the processes have been dealt with well. It is another story to keep on mining and using the MCZ.

The popularity and "crowd factor" have to be brought in by MCZ and mining itself  .... with time.  We will get there.  

In August 2014, it was sold at price up to 6000 Sat on day one, dropped to as low as below 100 Sat for only a few days. After that the price never looked back. Apparently, most of the initial 1.4 million Joincoins have changed hands. Additional 0.7 million Joincoins have been mined; the remainder of the 0.7 million Joincoins should have been mined in the coming 6-7 months.

I have been fascinated with being able to set up and mine Joincoins with several office PCs during idle hours and have been staying with this kind of CPU-mining for 16 months. During the about initial half a year, the blocks was advancing at mostly below 300 blocks/day, but during the past 6 months, mining activities have been mostly at or above 1450 block/day.

Please note that: despite the vote, presently only  (1) No change  or (2) Switching to lower POW block-reward of say 0.2 J/block is the possible choice.

Otherwise,  with markedly increased difficulty/cost/risk-of-failure to switch to POS and enormous amount of work-to-do and risk of Switching to POS+POW (which costs the whole value of the Joincoin crypto), it would be hard to imagine doing in these way.  (Unless there is a precedent of seamless switching and very good outcome with any multi-ago crypto.)

It appears that Joincoins would need to stay "No fril." Even adding things such as mibile wallet would be very hard. Nevertheless, it can be kept stable, useful, certainly interesting with continued lower-reward-POW.

I am working to make Joincoin known, kept, used and traded by people relatively new to the crypto world. Popularity is the key to success.  

Both POW+POS and  POS  were the top choices during the previous votes, but POW+POS is impossible; therefore, it would be great if we could have POS back.

I think anywhere from 5% to 10% annual rate is reasonable.

Tell us what is likely the timetable of POS.

Ernesthor is an ardent proponent of POS. 

GPU-Mining with Bastion seems to have the best yield, probably due to using more powerful system to begin with.
