I will definitely get in @ $0.0055 per EKN.  Cheesy

I bet the BTC price action has been telling us that someone  has sold EKN and cashed out BTC and left for popcorn treat.

Weekend phenomenon/Short-term price action? I hope so.  Cheesy

It is great and hopeful to see interests for and actions of a Crypto and its launch being in such a great scale

        ..... especially considering this billion$ Bitcoin Dump from 16 months ago, with BTC hopelessly still in a prolonged recession, waiting for the final capitulation.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [EKN] Elektron - EKN - ElektronFoundation TOR MARKET - Bittrex - Cryptsy on: April 30, 2015, 04:42:31 PM
Good time to buy me thinks - good support at 5k, which is pretty darn cheap for a coin with less than 3mill coins and so much to show off.

EDIT - I'm officially a Jr. Member!

You make me think that you are right on the money.

The rise of EKN probably caused the recent up-spike in Bitcoin price x2  too.  Cheesy

I have a very strange feeling for that coin. I cannot tell it's good or bad. But it's really a strange feeling...

It is the feeling of deja vu - after all these Cryptos launches.

The same thing over and over again.

As long as the Dev and the community stays, all should go well.                Pump-and-dump happens, including the Bitcoin.  Cheesy

Use cryptos is a confirmed scam at this point.

Despite a long wait to have a ticket taken care @Usecryptos (which likely was due to ORB blockchain issue over weekend), it was finally corrected. The other two withdrawals were made without a glitch, and for MCZ coin the transfer was instantaneouly.

Except for the recent requirement of verification @Usecryptos- which seemed to have caused trading disruption, resulting in a short-term marked loss of normal buying support for price- my overall experience @UseCryptos is still positive.

An Unrelated issue is that Requiring verification in an exchange or payment system apparently would make an ANON crypto nonfunctioning due to a partial loss of ANON features. I bet.  Cheesy

CNO Trading has become more steady @Cryptopia- there, all CNO Miners left yesterday; today more come back.  Cheesy
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MangoCoinz Official ANN Thread - Mine cryptocurrencies on you smart phone on: April 22, 2015, 05:31:13 PM
It turns out that BANX.IO is working fine, I signed in with e-mail address instead of the Username, but no response- no error message or anything else showing in response to, thinking that it might be but actually not firewall issues. I got quite worried- in light of other bad, scammed memories.

Luckily, I was able to instantly transfered my MCZ coins out of UseCryptos. I still have an unattended ticket for withdrawal of the other coin for 4 days and @UseCryptos ChatBox no moderator or other supporting staff responds to any issue for at least 6-7 days. No one is showing up to reassure us.

Nevertheless, a wallet including Web wallet, whether for mining or not, just like other cryptos, is a priority.

For the safe, secure, prudent practices in using Cryptos.   Cheesy
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MangoCoinz Official ANN Thread - Mine cryptocurrencies on you smart phone on: April 22, 2015, 01:35:52 AM
It might be a good idea to have a wallet clent just to hold the MCZ coins or a Web Wallet- as seen in the Coin(o) coin (CNO) http://www.coinocoin.com/ for those who at least at some time want to have their MCZ purchased and stored off their cells, for whatever intended purposes- also for security reason.

I do not have an android phone; waiting to start MCZ mining with my iphone.

I purchased some MCZ coins @UseCryptos which changed behaviors recently, starting to become unresponsive with no support showing for several days with support tickets not responded to by any staff for 3 days. Severeal persons have issues posted and unanswered. Unless proven otherwise, it behaves like what the scam site-BETAshareX was doing when it defaulted.

I still have problem signing in to the other site BANX.IO which trades MCZ coins. ( It constantly asks to " please use the form HERE to transfer your account to the new system!"-where it gives error messages and it would not respond to or let me sign in directly at the first sign-in screen with my new setup password. )

Anyway, there is no place for me to transfer those MCZ coins I got to any place to keep it safe.

Aren't we supposed to have Cell or PC wallet clients for the MCZ (and used only for cryptos activities without mining), which can be activated to mine if capable, instead of only creating APPs for Android phone and i-phones or pedometers (when they become computerized and powerful), which are indeed (wallet+)miners App?

It is not a fuss. I went thru several Exchange scam sites. During the last one, I lost 70 mil POP coins @Allcrypt when it was allegedly hacked. Enough is enough. I started to sell and cut down the number of Cryptos I hold to a minimal. This does not bode well for the cryptos health and the still popping up new cryptos. Think about how many persons around you you know have been talking or involved in the cryptos.  I have none.

I had the Joincoin info @ the coinmarketcap  updated.    http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/views/all/
Now the Joincoin (J) is ranked #183  (Not around #480 as it was before, in the low-trading-volume section)

#    Name           Symbol      Market Cap     Price    Available Supply    Volume (24h)

More journey to go.  Cheesy

It has been 8 months for Joincoin (J)

What I can promise is to support and bring in supports as much as I can to make steady ticking of Joincoin blockchain.
======================================================================================
As I stated before, it is the popularity base (in holding, mining, use , promotion and support) of Joincoin (J) holders and their efforts to increase that base which increases the Joincon (J) value and their wealth- a Win-Win situation.

The followings will or need to happen:

a) Increase mining activity, hopefully improving advancement of blockchains: now only about 250 blocks/day over the past 2 months. It should reach about 1920 blocks/day based on the 45-second block time.

As stated before, it would not just happen itself. The Mining activity and popularity of a Crypto causes the "Sqaure"/two-dimensional effect on its Value/market Cap. To increase 8 times of the popularity, you would expect its Value/Market Cap to increase 64 times- i.e., to reach the magnitude of about 0.0032 BTC.    ( The above is based on the Edgar's First Law of Cryptocurrency- the Edgar's Law of the Cryptocurrency Market Cap-----  ) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=737405.480

b) To facilitate mining of all-algos. CPU-mining has no problem at all. Other algos should be supported as claimed. Mining pools are needed. Hopefully, It would be tackled and facilitated to work well as the demand increases. In the end, it is Joincoin (J)-holding, mining, using, promotion and appropriate supports that increases the Joincon (J) value.

c) A website and probable re-launch/New thread are needed for crypto functionality.

d) Mac and android wallets and probably Linux binaries are needed. There are powerful Android PCs/Tablets with memory of more than 10 GB for sale of less than $60 online. I have one. There is Mangos coin(MCZ) which is running on cellphone for mining but it is unable to store blockchain files. Sooner or later, Cellphones might be powerful and memory-rich enough to run a full-featured Crypto wallet client.

=====================================================================================
As always, you can mine without a PC/Cell/Pedometer, by POV (Power of Visiting) the Multifaucet. http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?faucet=J

Again, Happy mining, using and supporting Joincoin (J).    Cheesy

Help,

My Wallet client has been syncing well for months every time.

Today, I restarted it. It synced then out of blue, it stopped syncing. Now it has been more than 6 hours, despite the fact that I put all the above possible addnodes I could find.

Breaking news: CNO is one of the winners @Cryptopia voting list.

Somebody please notify Cryptopia ASAP that the symbol for Coinocoin is CNO not Coino or O.

how to add correctly addnode???
restarted, it stood 12 hours, and didn't start the synchronization

As shown in quote 534  533, Copy and Paste the desired line texts,

     C:\Users\.....\Joincoin\

Joincoin.conf
---------------------------
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=yourusername
rpcpassword=yourpassword
rpcallowip=10.1.1.*
rpcport=9150
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

addnode=nwjw2badoulwc4yi.onion:17941
addnode=im4qpcjdr5uzd7yb.onion:17941
addnode=ecunlzj3niqwaeqs.onion:17941

addnode=b2mgu5dvcw3m7cxw.onion:17941
addnode=dqxrjl3ndqjgov57.onion:17941

-------------------------------
**   rpcuser and rpcpassword can be any combinations.

For Mining with (PC) CPU directly from the Joincoin wallet, put in these lines, for example:
------------------------
gen=1
algo=bastion

-----------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To create the config file, use the Notepad program  (always available in the window program Accessories folder.)   When you save it, be sure to check "All files" as the file type before saving the Joincoin.conf file ( for it to be recognized as a config file; otherwise it will only be recognized as a regular text file.)

The file should be {saved as}     C:\....\.....\Joincoin\Joincoin.conf in the Joincoin folder with Joincoin.conf as the file name,

In the {Save as type}, for notepad program for example, change file type from {Text Documents (*.txt)} to {All Files}, then click <save> to make it a config file (in the Joincoin folder.)

   When viewing in the Window explorer, the Joincoin.conf file should be shown as a Config file; otherwise, it is not.

You should have closed the wallet program before all these and restart it now.

799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Joincoin (J) ToR Anonymous All Algorithm mining! *1.3 WALLET UPDATE!* on: April 11, 2015, 02:44:43 AM
where I  have create the .conf archive?
I canīt add nodes

Usually the Joincoin (wallet) client asks you where you would put the Joincoin foler, on startup; Otherwise, it is put at the default active user folder.

     For example:

           C:\Users\User5\AppData\Roaming\Joincoin\

      All the files and subfolders except the Joincoin.conf  file are automatically created in this folder.

For mining or addnode, You need to create a  Joincoin.conf file in this folder
---------------------------
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=yourusername
rpcpassword=yourpassword
rpcallowip=10.1.1.*
rpcport=9150
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

addnode=nwjw2badoulwc4yi.onion:17941
addnode=im4qpcjdr5uzd7yb.onion:17941
addnode=ecunlzj3niqwaeqs.onion:17941
addnode=iamzedqd6kmzi3qs.onion:17941
addnode=k6xzvmcncunku3r2.onion:17941
addnode=5bcdonwgdlyno2ck.onion:17941
addnode=im4qpcjdr5uzd7yb.onion:17941
addnode=b2mgu5dvcw3m7cxw.onion:17941
addnode=dqxrjl3ndqjgov57.onion:17941

-------------------------------
**   The addnodes above are what I got from http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=J&network_info  at the time of this writing. The first two are always active.
**   rpcuser and rpcpassword can be any combinations.

For Mining with (PC) CPU directly from the Joincoin wallet, put in these lines, for example:
------------------------
gen=1
algo=bastion

-----------------------

** or put in other algos and set up miners - you find out how to do it yourself.
**  "gen=1" is put in to activate the wallet for CPU-minining (automatically) only; do not use it with non-CPU algos. It is the same as typing in "setgenerate true" at the wallet console command line but you need to type it in every time.

The AppData folder is usually hidden; therefore, you usually need to unhide it to see it or type the \AppData\Roaming\Joincoin\ directly in the address section of window explorer or file viewers (right behind the active user directory, e.g.   C:\Users\User5\AppData\Roaming\Joincoin\ ) in order to see the subfolders (and the Joincoin files)

( To hide/unhide the folders in Window Explorer/file viewers, click or check

   <Organize>  -->  <Folder and Search Option>  --->  <View>
--->    then at the <Hidden file and folder> checklist  --->  choose "Show..." or "Don't Show..."       )
======================================================================
Note that the above are exactly true for window 7 although I do expect window 8 or other window versions would work similarly.

cant sync wallet
when i create a folder Joincoin in% AppData% client doesn't start
any help

Sometimes, it is rather slow to start syncing; the client behaves somewhat differently even for computers in the same network; maybe all you need to do is to close the client and restart.

Put addnode(s) listed above to config file may help.
