1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] HASH-TO-COINS #2 on: March 26, 2018, 06:58:56 AM
Many thanks to @H2C for helping sort my account issue - I'm a happy miner again  Cheesy
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] HASH-TO-COINS #2 on: March 20, 2018, 07:39:43 PM
Can any admin on H2C help me please - have send a number of PMs to H2C about my account being locked and not receiving any emails to unlock it and not had any replies in over a week.

Please PM me if you need my H2C username or registered email address.

Thanks
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] HASH-TO-COINS #2 on: March 06, 2018, 02:43:47 PM
Trying to reset/unlock my account and I am not receiving any emails to my registered Hotmail address - I have check the spam folders and still nothing.

Anyone from H2C able to help?

In the interim, I have created another account using a different email address so I am able to keep mining - could like switch back to my main (first) account once @H2C has either replied or send links to unlock my account.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Mining Pool question on: November 02, 2017, 11:41:09 AM
Ok, forgive me if this sound like a stupid question but could someone help me understand pools, in particularly hashrates and blocks.

So... examples

Pool A has a pool hashrate of 500mhz with approx 10 miners and is finding blocks.
Pool B has a pool hashrate of 1500mhz with 1 miner and is not finding any blocks.

Should pool B be finding blocks and should it also out perform Pool A in terms of finding blocks?

Next question.....

Pool A - 3000mhz pool hashrate with 12 miners and finding blocks
Pool B - 1500mhz pool hashrate with 1 miner and not finding blocks.

Should Pool B still be finding blocks even though Pool A has a more miners and higher hashrate?

Many thanks.

I have just setup and new Pi3 and fresh 0.8.1 image just incase i had issues with my original pi and upgraded image but still not joy on either NH or MMR

Had no issues with my 4 Zeus Thunder X3 before the new release.

Oh well i'll keep trying different things.

EDIT: Can now confirm nothing wrong with minera Cheesy

Looks like the difficulty on MMR and NH are to high  Angry  would have thought 100MH miner would have been able to run ok - but seems not!

That link downloads the latest minera image which is 0.8.1  Sad

Those people who have upgraded to 0.8.1 - do you use nicehash o MMR?   If so, are you having issues?

Does anyone have a 0.7.0 image i could grab please Grin

Hmm..... interesting.... just signed up to multipool.us and I can mine on that........ must be something to do with nicehash and miningpool rental Huh

Yes it's due to the pools if I remember well nicehash and miningrentals both requires ExtraNonce subscription:

Can be enabled by appending "#xnsub" to pool URL.
https://github.com/dmaxl/cgminer/releases

Never had to use the #xnsub setting before on either pool.....  once I managed to get 0.8.1 running, I imported by .json settings (which I had exported before the update)

Interesting issue...... updated to .081 from .70 and somthing went wrong and nothing would work, so I downloaded the latest SD Image and reflashed my SD Card.

When the PI booted, the image was read only as it couldn't find a UID partition - so I downloaded Raspbian Lite and followed the instructions for manually installing MinerA.

All installed and seems to be working - except the Zeus miners I have show to be hashing, and connecting to pools - but just sit there requesting new work.

I normally switch between Miningrigrentals and nicehash and both display the same issues.

Here is the details from the logs.

I was going to ask if anyone has the .70 SD Image so I can flash back to that to test but I understand the miners are the same used on .81 and .7

I have stopped the miners on minera and manually run this command from terminal

Still showing as pending with no confirmation.....

Betarigs, nicehash, clevermining - plus different exchanges from trading various alt coins. (is that what you meant?)

it nearly 24 hours now - so will wait couple more hours and will try to restore from Seed.

Thanks for your help :-)

I paid 0.0008902 transaction fee

So does that mean I just have to wait and it will eventually go through?

Cheers
17  Bitcoin / Electrum / Blockchain - Transaction rejected Max number in single transaction on: April 15, 2016, 04:14:14 PM
Currently using Electrum 2.6.4 and tried to deposit some coins on an exchange to sell - 1st couple of test with small amounts worked ok but when I tried to transfer a larger amount Blockchain.info shows the block as being rejected with the following reason.

Transaction rejected by our node. Reason: The Maximum number of inputs in a single transaction is 250

https://blockchain.info/tx/c97465132872b3acf3b57ff8e6fa26a795ead75fd8ac840789d056edcdcd8d75

My wallet is showing as pending with the transaction with no confirmations so I can't try again as it says I have insufficient funds.

Will my wallet claim the coins back or will they sit in limbo and I've lost them?

Any help and advise welcomed :-)
