The miner that is running in the background on your website makes my PC so slow I cant navigate the site properly

Are you talking about getminera.com? Let me check.

okay I have a spare rasp pi 3

so is a 16gb card big enough?

can this run  avalon 721's and avalon 741's  and s-9's and gpus  in different ip's

at the moment you are mining  with my cpu in my mac mini

and your website causes huge cpu usage  on a mac.

There was a bug, now cpu mining should be reduced but I'm still working on it, so apologise if something goes wrong.

For Rpi3 yes 16GB is enough (8 are required).

And no it can't run GPU in any way, S9 can run only if you hack it with Cgminer, Avalon I don't know, but may be they works.

I don't know hot to fix it, I have only a Gridseed to test it and I can't understand the problem you have.

Please try to rebuild the CgminerDmaxl

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
bash build_miner.sh cgminer-dmaxl

READ IF YOU HAD PROBLEMS

Having 0.8.1 or 0.8.0 please update the code (I made some changes just now):

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
sudo git fetch --all && sudo git reset --hard origin/master

Then, delete the profitability data (the 1 minute cron job should get it again):

Code:
redis-cli del coins_profitability

Now go to your Minera via browser and make sure to reload it forcing to reload the cache (hold SHIFT key and click reload button).

I have one 2PAC from GekkoScience and a RPi3. I have used this guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQndxAfk-hM to install the hardware with Minera.

I had some issue that it was spinning so I follow the command above. It all went well.

But it seems that it's not working as it should.

There is not much real log view of my log. It just show 2017-10-02 even that I have startet it today.

I updated from 0.8.0 to 0.8.1 day before yesterday and the history charts are no longer recording data.
It also shows the "prohashing.com" pool as dead although Minera shows a non zero local rate and the pool is crediting my account.

Any pointers on what to do to fix without loosing all the previous data?
Actually just let me go check how much free space left on the card...

In the system load section, perhaps a free disk space indicator would be a nice feature...

Thanks,
Nick.

Unfortunately Bitmain replaced every Cgminer with own miner (BMminer) so it cannot work with Minera until you switch the miner back to Cgminer.
There is a project to do this but I never tried it because I haven't a S9, so if you wanna try here is: https://zwilla.github.io/bmminer-cgminer492/

https://www.google.it/search?q=Antminer+S9+cgminer&oq=Antminer+S9+cgminer&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i65.1480j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Interesting issue...... updated to .081 from .70 and somthing went wrong and nothing would work, so I downloaded the latest SD Image and reflashed my SD Card.

When the PI booted, the image was read only as it couldn't find a UID partition - so I downloaded Raspbian Lite and followed the instructions for manually installing MinerA.

All installed and seems to be working - except the Zeus miners I have show to be hashing, and connecting to pools - but just sit there requesting new work.

I normally switch between Miningrigrentals and nicehash and both display the same issues.

Here is the details from the logs.

I was going to ask if anyone has the .70 SD Image so I can flash back to that to test but I understand the miners are the same used on .81 and .7

I have stopped the miners on minera and manually run this command from terminal

/var/www/minera/minera-bin/cgminer-dmaxl-zeus --scrypt --zeus-chips 128 --zeus-clock 336  -o stratum+tcp://eu-01.miningrigrentals.com:3333 -u USERNAME -p x

Yes it's due to the pools if I remember well nicehash and miningrentals both requires ExtraNonce subscription:

Can be enabled by appending "#xnsub" to pool URL.

Never had to use the #xnsub setting before on either pool.....  once I managed to get 0.8.1 running, I imported by .json settings (which I had exported before the update)

That link downloads the latest minera image which is 0.8.1  Sad

Those people who have upgraded to 0.8.1 - do you use nicehash o MMR?   If so, are you having issues?

I have just setup and new Pi3 and fresh 0.8.1 image just incase i had issues with my original pi and upgraded image but still not joy on either NH or MMR

Had no issues with my 4 Zeus Thunder X3 before the new release.

Oh well i'll keep trying different things.

EDIT: Can now confirm nothing wrong with minera Cheesy

Looks like the difficulty on MMR and NH are to high  Angry  would have thought 100MH miner would have been able to run ok - but seems not!

Hello,

I am using Minera 0.8.1 and is working ok.
But every time I open my Minera on Windows Chrome browser , Avast is detecting the js:Miner-C ...
This troian was not detected on 0.7.0 and 0.8.0. Just after I updated my RPI 3 at 0.8.1 I have this message.
Is this version of Minera 0.8.1 infected with js:Miner-C Troian?

That's not a Trojan, it's the new way to have Minera ads-free, please read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=596620.msg22200513#msg22200513

You can always opt to stop the browser mining (settings page).

My Minera 0.8.1 doesn't show any dash board data, all widgets are grey shaded with the hash rate showing as "calculating" and the bitcoin price as "getting data"
Clicking the raw stats button at top right then the "here" hyperlink, get the following -

<p>Severity: Notice</p>
<p>Message:  json_decode(): integer overflow detected</p>
<p>Filename: models/util_model.php</p>
<p>Line Number: 194</p>
