coinscontrol.com is still showing as under maintenance. Have you been able to connect with them since the site went down? On another note, I just learned about this project, which might present some possibilities for DVC: https://twitter.com/ATUMchainNo replies from coinscontrol this week The site was updated with a new message today I will keep trying to contact the admin

It might be beneficial to just download all of the receiver files from darkgamex since that is a known-good set and host them at your location
That's a good suggestion. I might go ahead and do that one day, just to have a complete set. Hopefully later this month... Can you provide a complete link for where to get all the files? Yes! Downloading from here http://devcoin.darkgamex.chhas been fixing stalled wallets

coinscontrol.com has had a message "Server under maintenance" for a few days now. I have not been able to reach the admin.
That is not a good sign. That was the site that was going to list Devcoin but which was struggling to download the block chain, right? That is right I am still trying to reach the admin on the Skype address to see what is going on

I'm glad my replacement helped. Do you need me to also replace/upload receiver 27? If so, what would be the replacement file? I probably don't even have 27 on my Github account. I used to host these files on my own site, but that site is no longer active. It might be beneficial to just download all of the receiver files from darkgamex since that is a known-good set and host them at your location

I plan to remove any devtome.com domain and sub-domains from the source code! All voices in favor or against please provide feedback here: https://github.com/coinzen/devcoin/issues/35Does anyone know who is the administrator for devtome.com ?
I think we can avoid changing the source and just update the receiver files to make all of those wallets already downloaded start to sync again I am working on that still

Hey Fuzzybear The receiver_69.csv at http://devcoinpool.btc-music.com/is different than the receiver_69.csv at devcoin.darkgamex.ch Can you verify and replace that if it is different? Thank you! CTYA He and others maybe still use the files from Unhtinkingbits repo and should switch to markm's files (as did i some time ago). Can you provide a link?

It's great to know they're working on it, at least. I know sometimes it can take a while for the blocks to download because there aren't that many peers.
Hey Wiser, https://raw.githubusercontent.com/wiser-/Devtome/master/receiver_69.csv is a different file than the file working at devcoin.darkgamex.ch/receiver_69.csv Can you verify that and replace it if it doesn't match the other receiver hosts? Thank you CTYA I'm not sure how to verify. Would it be OK if I just replaced? Replacing it should work well since the other file is working for new wallet sync let's try it

There is definitely interest from miners to get back on the exchange I sent messages to several pool admins A couple of the pools mentioned they are still merge mining devcoin but they do not market or mention devcoin on their site because there isn't any big exchange available This is yet another reason devcoin is such a stable coin for several years and the exchanges will see that
Which pools are still mining DevCoin? Once Devcoin is listed on an exchange we will see some news from the pools that have devcoin mining available
|
|
|
Sweet! Thank you! With all your efforts DVC might end up on more than one exchange, which would be awesome! I completely agree more exchanges will be great

People, Ctya contacted me via PM and suggested to me a way to fix my problem with my wallet. Now it syncs perfectly.....
Maybe you could share this fix with the community?..... The fix was already posted in this thread I just enhanced it by copying all of the blocks and receiver files into a zip file and added a batch file to copy each of those to the correct location it is clunky what we really need is a wallet update anybody want to do that? we can also use an update to the devtome host's receiver files since those are stale http://devtome.com/files/who controls those?

Don’t know
What is the hash rate of the mining rigs that are needing a higher diff? Just asking since the pools has 800 Th running today Seems like I saw 2 Ph last month also this has nothing to do with hash rates it has to do with nicehash insisting on mmpool using a starting diff of 1,096,000 the only way this works is mop.org need to have two ports :3333 :3334 diff of 1,100,000 I won't rent from anyone but nicehash. I can no longer rent and point here. bravo-mining setup a port with a lower diff 3333 and a port with a higher diff :3334 So I rent there once in a while. Would like to point here at end of week if possible. I get that a diff set to 1,096,000 is too high for most miners it is not for a nice hash rental. so the fix is port 3333 low diff or variable diff port 3334 high diff I used to not mind nice hash bumping a rental and charging a 0.0001 fee but that is now $1.11 So I don't rent for this pool any more at all. I would do one if a new port with a high diff is set till then oh well. I have over 7000 usd coming to me if anyone hits a block 3 71602a00 0.50541872 0.00000000 36,161,891,903 0 7 c932f3ed 0.22751469 0.00000000 14,713,948,350 0 that is more the .73 btc maybe the lead hasher hits now with his 800th rental Have not heard from mmpool yet this year! But setting up a new high-diff port sounds like a good feature I also see a few rigs at miningrigrentals.com that require high diff and it would be great to rent a couple of Petahash for a while and point it at this pool
